My story with God
Accepted Him as Lord of my Life as a child. However, faulty instruction (children Always obey parents) led to bad marriage decision and a life full of hardships. That along with a child with nerofibromatosis and his death at age 20. But through it all... God is faithful and I am learning to let Him be my All (a lifetime adventure to be sure!).
Other stuff about me:
My oldest son died 6 days after the towers fell 2001, 6 days before he would have turned 21.
Something I learned as a bereaved mother is that we can get lost in all the grief. Because of the unique journey of Bereaved Parents a place was made where one can learn of other parents who are struggling through... www.woundedhearts.net.
It started as a map to one of my groups but has expanded throughout the world.
To check out my son's memorial site.. www.birdco.net/mic. It has my journey through grief and other helps for those who are just starting out or been there a little while.

hello, here's a joke to welcome you at AAG! God bless you today and always. by the way how did you get to know this christian site?
Which Way to Heaven?
Reverend Billy Graham tells of a time early in his ministry when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was. When the boy had told him, Dr. Graham thanked him and said, "If you'll come to the Baptist Church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to heaven."
The boy replied, "I don't think I'll be there... You don't even know your way to the post office."

Thanks Patricia, The eagle shots were taken near the Mississippi river at Clarksville Mo. They're not too hard to find in Jan or Feb. Yes, I do believe God takes care of our needs. Our wants, well thats for Him to decide. Thank you so much for the message and may God bless you and your family
Yes,Patricias daughter we still use out houses, haha, but not at home .A lot of the sheds we work at have outhouses because they are cheap and easily erected, some of the real early out houses they made were built with a longer seat in it and two holes cut out so it could be used by 2 people at once ,and the long seat had no partition inbetween so you could have a conversation with the other person using it ,if you so wished ,haha ,and i'm not joking cause i have used one. While im here i'd better thank you for the comments on the other drawings and photos but sorry i've got no idea what sort of rose it is ,i just like to grow plants with pretty flowers, haha.Good luck with your art group and Godbless,Andrew.
Hi Patricia, thanx for accepting me as a friend.Im actually so glad that I came to this site, coz I'm getting to meet genuine people like you, who are so ready to give of themselves even after experiencing such deep loss.By the way, could you show us some more of your lovely drawings?:))
Praise the name of the living God, Patricia, I feel your pain and your situation. I want you to believe that the Lord is your shepherd, that he Loves all of you. I am in prayer for you and your family. May the devil who breaks homes die in Jesus name. May the Lord send you 10 of His angels to protect your child and your home in Jesus name. Am in prayer for your husband to recieve Christ in Jesus name. Amen.
Patricia, I just read the letter you wrote about the painting you're doing. You have a wonderful talent. I can see your work right here. It's excellent!
I hope you'll remember that no one is as critical of our work as we are.
Please take a deep breath, and then relax for a few minutes.
God bless you dear girl, Darlene
Dear Patricia,
Your artwork is beautiful. I see God's love in your pictures. God has blessed you with such an awesome talent.
The art team I was on liked to do things in 3-D. We did a beautiful clipper ship with full open sails on the sea. We used string for the lines and parchment paper for the sails. I forget what we used for the masts. The picture had depth and textures. We called it Artios which means fully equiped.
