I'm passionate about...: People who suffer from chronic illness and pain -- especially Christians. So many not only struggle with illness but then feel condemned because they should be healed, if only they would pray "right". I have been involved in chat room ministry for close to two years and have found much blessing and that God works thru our illnesses and draws us close to Him. We will one day stand whole and healed before God.
My story with God: I became a Christian when I was about 9 thru a Sunday school teacher who had us to her house to watch Billy Graham crusades. As I got older, I found myself with questions I didn't have when I was younger, but thru church and good friends, I was able to get the answers I needed and to grow thru good friends who encouraged me by loving and listening to me.

In more recent years, I've struggled with sleep apnea and low thyroid which make me tired and slow, so it is difficult for me to do the things I want to do -- and the things I need to do. But I've God is there, close to me, helping me, guiding me.

Hello, again,
thanks for accepting.
Please pray for a family in our church whose college age son was killed today in an accident on his way back to college. He was their only son. They also have a daughter. My teens were friends with him. Their last name is Willis.
How many children do you have? What kind of chronic illness is it? Is it you that is ill? I can relate somewhat as I have a very weaked immune system due to severe allergies I had as a child. My allergies are better now but, because of past problems, I get sick very easily. I catch everyone's cold and it goes into bronchitis and if I'm really "lucky"...pneumonia. But God is good; when I'm really down I get lots of time to study and pray so it all ends up a blessing anyway.

I like Christian non-fiction best but also enjoy some Christian fiction (like Terri Blackstock) and mysteries as well as poetry and homeschooling how-to's...so much to learn. So many books, so little time....Oh, well. Thanks, my new friend. God bless, Anna

Hello.. well I like to cook Javanese (not Japanese) food, so spicy ... and sometimes I try to make Western desserts, such as ice cream, cakes, or cookies. My son likes ice cream and cookies so much!

Phillipeans 4:6 is my favorite too! I have to live on that scripture all the time. Im soo glad we met here on allaboutgod. I can tell you have such a love of God and such a passion to help others. How are you doing?
I havent talked with you in a long time. I do think about you alot and always wonder how youre doing. I miss chatting with you, so lets try to make it more often, alright? I hope so.
So how is your son? How is he doing in school? Does he get to take a break for summer? Does he enjoy the homeschool? I have friends that do it, but like I told tou, I just dont know if I will be able to do it. I have really struggled lately with my children and need breaks. I know shool will take up most of the day, so I dont know. I like to get out and my work schedule painitng is always speratic. So, Im hoping to put them in a wonderful private school up here called Layton Christian Acadmy. They are actually a church too. My church.
Well anyway, what is the latest with you? How is that big and beautiful cat? My cat I have had for 15 years and she is still very healthy and getting around great.
Well my sister, I just thought Id check in because its been a while, and I saw you online. I pray that today will be a peaceful and restful day in the Lord for you.
