    Monica,

Welcome to this wonderful family of God. If at all there was a fitting name for any forum, I first found it here:here one surely finds 'allaboutgod'...and then some!

I know you will enjoy it here...for you have many birds of the same feather. Let us flock together in this nest...and sing songs of praise to Jehovah! He deserves it all.

That one line that underlines your story with God is a stroke of genius. We are all cops..but isn't it true as you write, " God is my life, without Him am a dead cop...?"

Welcome to the spirit of God dear-Pst. Bernhard C.

If you woke up this morning
    with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won't survive the week.

    If you have never experienced
    the danger of battle,
    the loneliness of imprisonment,
    the agony of torture or
    the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
    around the world.

If you can attend a church meeting
    without fear of harassment,
    arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
    today.

If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
    but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
    offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
    you may never even know.

    Monica,

I saw your post in the chatroom and want you to know that you are being prayed for. I do not know your need, but our heavenly Father does. I am laying your burden at His feet asking Him to lift you up.

May God's hand be upon you,
    LT

    I asked God…

I asked God to take away my pain
    God said, No
-it is not for me to take away,
But for you to give up.
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole
    God said, No
-Her spirit was whole, her body was only temporary.
I asked God to grant me patience
    God said, No
-patience is a by-product of tribulations,
It isn’t granted, it is earned.
I asked God to give me happiness
    God said, No
-I give you blessings, happiness is up to you.
I asked God to make my spirit grow
    God said, No
-you must grow on your own
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life
    God said, No
-I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things
I asked God to helped me LOVE others,
as much as He loves me
    God said…..
Ahhh, finally you have the idea.

    God loves You!

hiding in the secret corners of my heart.

    Friday Shopping Day
O God, give me the grace to shop wisely so I may purchase
eternal happiness for myself and all others in need of love.

    Saturday Cooking Day
Help me, my Savior, to brew a big kettle of brotherly love and
serve it with clean, sweet bread of human kindness.

    Sunday The Lord's Day
O God, I have prepared my house for you. Please come into my
heart so I may spend the day and the rest of my life in your

hello, here's a joke i found at AAG! God bless you today and always.

    Which Way to Heaven?

Reverend Billy Graham tells of a time early in his ministry when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was. When the boy had told him, Dr. Graham thanked him and said, "If you'll come to the Baptist Church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to heaven."

The boy replied, "I don't think I'll be there... You don't even know your way to the post office."
