Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

yes i will pray for your mom

Hi Lindsey, sorry for the delay in relpying to your message, I have been through so much in this last week 10 days i can't keep up.
Isn't our Lord just amazing, Since September when i became a christian again after backsliding, so much has happened to me.
My husband walked out, returned and left again. This destroyed me emotionally and my work suffered and felt i had no choice but to leave, therfore my income went, my home is a military house and now i have to give this back so home is changing.
But praise the lord I have never been happier, I have been tested to my limits and beyond I feel, God is restoring everything after 4 months I have sold my furniture because of downsizing, i had a job interview where they offered the job in 2.5 minutes, which will allow me to find the perfect house as its as an assistant estate agent manager. I was reminded of the prophecy over my husband 5 years ago, and trust in the Lord wholly.
And this is just in the last week,God is so faithfull to me and like you I will never know enough about him. My life is his will and I will serve him with the best I can.

So the life of samantha in three paragraphs. Wow, God is so amazing.....I am ooking forward to church and really meeting with him again. He brings such joy and peace to my life, i remember when i turned my back things were so tough and sad. My daughter also sees the changes but will not reaffirm her love for the lord as she believes he wasnt there when she needed him most, but like my husband God will never leave them or let them go and will bring them back to him in time, for the moment I pray and step in the gap for them both.
I gather the weather is really good with you at the moment. Its still cold here but spring is on the way.

I am sure were going to be friends. Keep trusting in God for all and watch his blessings fall upon you.

My deepest sympathy with your loss. May God grant you peace and may you be comforted by Him
It is not easy to work through this. I lost my parents 4 months after the other, Firts my mom and then my dad. It was hard and although it is now 9 years afterwards I still long to chat to them and remember all the good and even bad times but with the wonderful thought they rest at peace with the Lord and I know when He come to tak me home I will see them again.
Dont be to hard on yourself, you are still in mourning but dont harbour on the thoughts but work through it with the help of JEsus by you side He will give you rest and peace!!
Thinking of you and pray God will restore the hurt and place joy instead.

Hi Lindsey, I saw your prayer request and my heart went out to you. Last April I lost my mom, my sister-inlaw, and a close friend all within a couple of weeks. I felt so lost but thanks to God and all the support I received from Church family and the AllaboutGod family I was able to get through it.

God understands our grief and even Jesus wept as he saw his friends mMartha and mary weeping over Lazareth even though he knew he was going to raise him up. I really took comfort in the fact that God does know how very hard it is to loose those we love.

I pray for you Lindsey that the Holy Spirit will give you grace to get through this tough time. Father touch my Sisters heart and help her this day to find your comfort in her time of loss in the name of Jesus amen.

lindsey- i just wanted to tell you i saw your prayer request and i have prayed for you. i also lost both my parents within months of each other (due to cancer) and i understand your pain. we can only turn to our heavenly Father for the comfort we need. He will see us through. i hope things get better soon. may God bless you and your husband.
