My story with God
My son in law passed away from brain cancer, 18 years ago. It changed my life. I have grown closer to God since then. Prior to that I felt an education, making money, having material things were very important. When Pat was so ill, he had such faith believing God had a plan in his suffering. I had a lot of anger, and could not understand. After awhile I learned that the only important things in life for me, were my relationship and love for God, my family and friends. I also think God wants us to live our lives in service to others.

    I know what you are talking about when you say you find it hard to trust,it is the same with me as well. The word tell us not to rely on man but rahter on God and it is hard to do that as well for we are likely to compare our relationship with Jesus to the way people are dealing with us,and i think that is why we are struggling to trust, but we have to learn to rely totally on Him for everything even the small things in life! Keep on seeking Him in Jer 29:13, 14 He said that we will seek Him and find Him when we seek Him with all our heart... Will pray for you. Pray for you daughter in law, God will intervene!!
