I'm passionate about...: Becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and helping others to do the same.

I am passionate for revival to touch the whole world, I am passionate to see young people established in the faith. I am passionate to help hurting people finding help in their hour of need.
My story with God: Many times we come up against the issue of supporting others. Illness, Finances, relationships, and death are a few issues where support is called for.

I want to discuss how we are to support those who are afflicted with illness whether emotional, physical, or spiritual.

As Christians we have a responsibility to care for those who are ill, First by prayer, because we should always be lifting up those who are sick and ask God to heal them.

While we are waiting for that healing to manifest we should be doing all we can by supporting them in a practical since. Bring meals, visit them, go do errands for them, do Bible studies with them if they are up to it. And most of all keep praying with, and for them.

Do not ever make the person feel bad if they are not instantly healed. The two pillars of love are patience and kindness, our job is to support them and not judge them.

“Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;” ( James 5:14 )

“Because I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you welcomed me. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“Then the righteous will say to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or see you naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”
40The king will answer them, “I tell you with certainty, since you did it for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.” ( Matthew 25:35-40 )

“And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.' ( Mark 6:16 )

“...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." ( Mark 16:18b, )

Also there will be support that is needed for those who have mental issues. Our support for them could be to make sure they are taking their prescribed medications, visiting them, and to just be in their life for them.

The scripture says to comfort ( be near ) the feeble minded. ( Fainthearted, discouragement, little strength, timid ) (1 Thessalonians 5:14 0

This scripture really says a lot about what it means to comfort some one with a mental illness, “to be near them”.

Many times we just stay clear of them and hope the secular doctors can help them.

You may know of someone in your church who has one of their family member diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Others might have a family member who is suicidal, and maybe your best Christian friend has fallen into clinical depression.

It is at these times that we need to draw near to them and bring comfort, support, and encouragement to them.

There was a story in Mark chapter two about a paralyzed man who was brought to Jesus to be healed, His friends were so disparate to see their friend healed that they literally tore the roof off the house so they could lower the cot with the paralyzed man was on it down into the house where Jesus was, and the man was healed.

This is such a picture of how we are to support and help the sick. These men loved their friend and had faith to believe Jesus could heal him and they were so convinced that they went to extremes to see their friend healed.

It makes all the difference in the world for those who are afflicted with physical or mental illness to know that they are loved and do not have to face their illness alone.
Other stuff about me:: I write devotionals that I share with others, I write them from the things God is teaching me every day.

I know how discouraged we can get and how important it is to find a refreshing word of encouragement. I desire to have the moral character of Jesus to develop more in my life so that glory will be given to God. I desire to touch others with the love of God in this new year like never before.

I want nothing more than to hear my Lord say well done thy good and faithful servant, to end my race well for Him and to finish the race of faith he has given to me.

I love hearing the good news about saved loved ones. I look so forward to the day when I'll be able to share the good news that Heather has rededicated to the Lord; especially with Braeden to become 9 years old on December the 16th already. To think Heather promised the Lord she would raise this wee precious littlefellow, - in the Lord how she was raised, < Was her very words actually when she dedicated Braeden to Lord at 4 months old only, at WORD OF LIFE CHURCH. So many Christians are praying for her while I watch her turning into skin and bone, as if she is on her death bed. My heart breaks for wee Braeden because he loves his Mommy and of course doen't know the story behind her stray state and all that she's done practically killing herself in thr process. I have to remebr the blog I wrote IN EVER TREADROP
GOD'S RIANBOW OF PROMISE SHINES THROUGH; standing in belief for a breakthrough soon for my grandson's sake, Heathers, and for all of us as her family memebrs who have suffered so much financially and emotionally, - because of her these past 21 years already with her nevr staying away from the drug use for a long time; but always falling back into the trap of the devil. having had thre nervous brekdowns in the process! Well, Jesus has His protective sheild around her as Hhe promised me this years ago, but to look at her recently, it honestly appears as if she is going to die soon. She looks that bad Bob. My only child/adult of 351/2 now and my only granchild stuck under her roof that is made a flop house for all of her friends to stay over night any old time they want to.
So, get the prayer lines going as the devil thinks he's won with Heather and in the processs thinks he's gonna get my precious grandson Braeden too.< I rebuke this in the name of Jesus Christ! The blood of Jesus covers them both and they are both my rightful heritage in Jesus name on this earth. All a part of my earthly inheritance! More precious then silver or gold: My own daughter and grandson! I'm just so tired of crying over her and then to add to it all worried sick which is natural being a mother and grand other ( human) that I need a lot pf prayer for strenght right now. I'm just so tired of it all.
Wow! I had no idea that I was going to share this with you just now. So, there you go, I did, and God must know why. He knows that out of all of the people on ALL ABOUT GOD that you and I have actually been the closest since last year anyway. A real brother [ I never had a real brother. only sisters] and sister indeed. Thanks be to our dear Lord Jesus Christ for the family of God!!! God bless you bro. and all of your loved ones.

Wow Bob! I used to watch Times Square Chuch( David Wilkerson) on TV all the time when it used to be on TV. A song I loved so much by the BROOKLYN TABERNACLE choir that you should try to see if you get on your music list is called : GOD IS I would cry so many times, - as soon as I'd hear that song when a friend of mine ordedered the cassette tape from way back them and lent it to me for a while. Every time that song would come on! I rememebr singing a main part in a Christian Easter msuical( Mary Magdelene: sang 2 different songs) when 4 teenage girls approached me after the musical the last night it was put on. They asked if they could be my firends. I gave them my phone number and they came over to visit me a lot. All 4 were living in foster homes; and they loved me so much as they'd ask me to tell them the stories of Jesus when over. I received the Brooklyn tape this one Friday and when the girls came over on the Saturday, I expalined all about asking Jesus in their hearts': Born-again. " Now, that I've shared a lot with you about Jesus since you have been coming over to viist me, I have a song I want you to hear. It is from and incredible choir in New York city. " I said. " I just want you to close your eyes now and no-one say a word. Just listen to Who God is. " They closed their eyes and I pushed play...
I closed my eyes right along with the girls. Nobody said a word as the song played and every word could be heard as clear as a bell. It sounded like angels were singing in the room. The anointing was so stong that filled the room, tears were pouring down my face. The (long ) beautiful song came to and end and when I opened my eyes all four of the young teen girls were crying too. They all understood completely with what I had sahred witnesing to them along with that song< who GOD IS for sure after that; - and all 4 accepted Jesus into their hearts. Sweet memeories; I share with you during the time when no-one in my family ever knew if Heather was going to end up dead or stay alive while living in Toronto Ontario, calling us once a month, sometimes only every month and a half. I cried when I heard that song saying to myself. " You are all of this God! You are, even if you allowed my daughter to be taken away from me and led so astray; being so far away from You. Oh God, remind her of Who you are."
God is everything mentioned in the words of this song I speak of, that I have nevre forgotten when I gave the cassette tape back, and tried to order ot but just couldn't seem to get it. I love all types of Chrisitan music, but let me tell you, ... next to Shout To The Lord... I have never heard another praise song that touches the heart like GOD IS does by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir! They are so anointed! So Spirit led, and the testimonies are are so powerful, such as on the video you sent me yesterday. I will get to New York City someday with my cousin Marilyn and I intend going to the Times Square Chuch to witness how Spirit-led everything about that gathering there is. The sermons are totally led of the Holy Spirit and not planned, the choir practices behind the scenes but never plan what they are going to sing on the Sunday, as again everything is Spirit led! So amazing! GOD IS truly there, for the street people, the movie stars who attend, the actors, dancers, TV hosts, and everyday people:"
The Cross And The Switchblade book. <[ made into a movie too!] was written( Nicki Cruz) so long ago now ( I once had the book, read it and gave it away so others could read it) and how David Wilkerson helped Nicki Cruz ; And oh what a difference Christ made in his life!!! That ministry has gone and and on and grown bigger and bigger in THE BIG APPLE for anyone to see for themselves what a marvelous place it is: Times SQUARE Church!!!
Thanks for bringing back a precious bitter-sweet memory for me Bob and the longing to somehow, find that song that I played that I truly know is exactly who God is !.

Wow! The picture of Jesus holding that little lamb is heather! The one that strays from the fold is more precious then the ninety-nine left within the fold. And Jeus seeks out His lost sheep until He finds them: they actually crying out to Him finding Him with His arms open.

Hi Bob, It's been some time since I've been active on this site. I received a note of encouragement from another friend on this site and we really don't realize how much it means to be encouraged in such a way. We do need each other. I want to tell you how very much I enjoy your site. It's good to just sit back and worship through the music you have posted here. I don't know much about setting up a site like this, but, I'm glad that I can come in and enjoy yours. Often times when I am going through a trial it seems that during that very time God drops a message into my heart just to let me know that he is still walking by my side. The following is something he shared with me and I'd like to share with you and trust that it will encourage you heart and bless you, too.

Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Faith is like a beautiful flower that we wait with anticipation for it to open so we can see it in it's full beauty and experience it's strongest fragrence. When does faith begin to open, like that beautiful flower in our lives? When trials come, as they do and will, it's then that we run to the safety of the loving arms of him who is allowing it for our faith to grow. For, you see, trials are to the Christian what fertilizer is to the rose. Costic, yes. Peutred, yes. But in the final end-if we continue to trust him who is all-loving and caring we will come out beautiful with the fragrance of Christ in our lives and God will be glorified.

IF we play our cards right we can not be moved - and lucky got nothing to with it - we just have to count on the blessings that come from above and all those floods full of blessings from above, and surely we will not be moved as it says just test me and see in Malachi 3:10 no other place in the bible where it says test me, but HE is asking us to test HIM with our tithe(just see your pastor now with your tithing, GOD is going to change things for the better for us all) Just trust in the invisible GOD (JESUS) you will be singing and been glad just like the song below here lol! They say let it be done as it is in heaven but if we don’t trust in HIS word how are we going to live as it is in heaven then, how can we trust if we don’t have faith, how are we ever going to have faith we don’t try it, sometimes it is the risks that make us move to better position in our lives – just like “Nikes” says just do it – faith comes by hear the word, but word with no action is dead, what I mean by this is lets act on what we hear lets not ignore the truth we hear and what we hear sometimes is what we have learnt and what we have learnt makes us better then before… only JESUS can make changes and make us glad … Amen!!!!
