My story with God: 1987 converted, accepted Jesus because I challenged him to appear in front of me in 1981, while a student in UK.
The evils keep tempting me, but victory is finally Jesus, He is above all.
No more joss sticks, oppressed and disillusioned as I keep losing control of my jobs...Delivered by His way , the truth sets me free.

I just read your story. It is good that your are reaching out to your brothers and sisters in Jesus. Being a loner in life is a lot harder. I pray that God will help you find Christians where you can bless them with the life of Christ that is in you. We are all part of the body of Christ. Hi Winston, Yes you do have a spirit who is you.
So we can say it like this;
I am a spirit,
I live in a body,
and I have a soul(mind,will,emotion).
When you invite Jesus to come into your life, repenting of your sin the Holy Spirit comes into your spirit and makes you alive spiritually. The Bible says we become temples of the Holy Spirit and he reside in us.
No darkness can ever get in your spirit again because the Holy Spirit is there.
Religion is what you were doing with the white robe on the outside, but your inside was full of darkness.
Now through prayer, reading the Bible, worship, and fellowship with other Christians we allow the work of the Holy Spirit to touch our minds, our wills and our emotions, then our behavior changes in our body and we do not live by the sinful desires in our body.
God's word promices that the Holy Spirit will bring his work to completion in our lives, so He is always working in us developping the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, gentleness, patience, meekness, kindness. These are the discription of Jesus and Holy Spirit will help us to become like Jesus.

We walk with God
My wife and myself took a morning walk around the recreation garden nearby.
I told her the story of Genesis and said " we will walk 7 rounds ". While we walk, I would tell her the God's creation First Day to Seventh Day.
As we completed the round 7, we returned to our apartment.
Praise the Lord, as he walked with us this morning, it was 7 am sharp !
God is wonderful.
