I'm passionate about...: Becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and helping others to do the same.

I am passionate for revival to touch the whole world, I am passionate to see young people established in the faith. I am passionate to help hurting people finding help in their hour of need.
My story with God: Many times we come up against the issue of supporting others. Illness, Finances, relationships, and death are a few issues where support is called for.

I want to discuss how we are to support those who are afflicted with illness whether emotional, physical, or spiritual.

As Christians we have a responsibility to care for those who are ill, First by prayer, because we should always be lifting up those who are sick and ask God to heal them.

While we are waiting for that healing to manifest we should be doing all we can by supporting them in a practical since. Bring meals, visit them, go do errands for them, do Bible studies with them if they are up to it. And most of all keep praying with, and for them.

Do not ever make the person feel bad if they are not instantly healed. The two pillars of love are patience and kindness, our job is to support them and not judge them.

“Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;” ( James 5:14 )

“Because I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you welcomed me. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“Then the righteous will say to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or see you naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”
40The king will answer them, “I tell you with certainty, since you did it for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.” ( Matthew 25:35-40 )

“And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.' ( Mark 6:16 )

“...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." ( Mark 16:18b, )

Also there will be support that is needed for those who have mental issues. Our support for them could be to make sure they are taking their prescribed medications, visiting them, and to just be in their life for them.

The scripture says to comfort ( be near ) the feeble minded. ( Fainthearted, discouragement, little strength, timid ) (1 Thessalonians 5:14 0

This scripture really says a lot about what it means to comfort some one with a mental illness, “to be near them”.

Many times we just stay clear of them and hope the secular doctors can help them.

You may know of someone in your church who has one of their family member diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Others might have a family member who is suicidal, and maybe your best Christian friend has fallen into clinical depression.

It is at these times that we need to draw near to them and bring comfort, support, and encouragement to them.

There was a story in Mark chapter two about a paralyzed man who was brought to Jesus to be healed, His friends were so disparate to see their friend healed that they literally tore the roof off the house so they could lower the cot with the paralyzed man was on it down into the house where Jesus was, and the man was healed.

This is such a picture of how we are to support and help the sick. These men loved their friend and had faith to believe Jesus could heal him and they were so convinced that they went to extremes to see their friend healed.

It makes all the difference in the world for those who are afflicted with physical or mental illness to know that they are loved and do not have to face their illness alone.
Other stuff about me:: I write devotionals that I share with others, I write them from the things God is teaching me every day.

I know how discouraged we can get and how important it is to find a refreshing word of encouragement. I desire to have the moral character of Jesus to develop more in my life so that glory will be given to God. I desire to touch others with the love of God in this new year like never before.

I want nothing more than to hear my Lord say well done thy good and faithful servant, to end my race well for Him and to finish the race of faith he has given to me.

Hi again Bob, I was born and raised in a little town not really all that far from Vermont, a little town called AuSable Forks, have you heard of it? and then later on in life I lived in Saranac Lake, where I run aChristian coffee house, and then moved to Lake Placid and when my mom and dad passed away, I moved back to AuSable Forks again and now I live in the UP of Michigan

That is good news, but yet true, and man can your winters get cold. I mean to be honest the first time I've ever seen snow in real life was when I was in the US, other than that I've only seen it on t.v. I guess our winters ain't that cold if I compare to what you must experience.

I'm so glad for your part, children with a mom and a dad is so so blessed. The sad thing is they don't realise it until it is to late. I will pray with you that the Holy Spirit will visit him during this time and that he would experience the love of God.

I am not married yet, finances was the thing that prevented me until now, but the Lord is busy changing things so fast. I'm so blessed in this new work that I'm doing and the Lord is sure busy with restoring my financial status.

Tonsils can be a pain somtimes, luckly I had mine removed while I was still a kid. But I will asurly pray for her as well, and we believe in the healing power of God in the name of Jesus.

I don't know if you have heard, but in East London, one of the cities of South Africa, revival has broke out. It is such wonderful news and to see the hand of God move. The whole world needs prayer, it is such a critical time. It was so amazing about the proposal the Pope made to Obama for the one world goverment and currency, it is just one of the prophecies that is coming to fullfilment. It is so neccesary to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord now.

Hi Brother. It is so sad, for those who have lost their jobs. But this is something that has happened all over the world, even in South Africa many has lost their job during this economic crisis. I will pray with you for your family and friends who are looking for work.

It is true, people need to get their focus back on the Lord for only He is able to change circumstances. But for the world, my guess is that things won't get any better real quick for we are moving towords the coming of Christ, and when we read Revelations we see that things are going to get worse on this planet until the reign of Christ as King. But yet we as Christians must plug into the heavenly economy.

It is really great to see how God is moving in South Africa. Have you heard of Angus Bucham? I don't know whether there is a couple of videos of him on youtube, but one thing is for sure the Lord is using him mightly. Have ever watched the movie called: Faith like patatoes?

I was just talking with Carla, and she noticed that you had lost a lot of weight. I have another friend that told me a similar story about a mutual friend who the same thing is happening to. That’s so great. God is doing something supernatural with her…and she is not dieting at all. Be that as it may, it is a good thing you are doing, and I encourage you and cheer you on. I have so much burdens in my heart and life. I have given up all that to my Lord, but my heart is still crying in my prayers for the ungodly life of my own surrounding and the world.
