My story with God
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis a couple of years ago and since then my life has fallen apart. The first sign that something was wrong was when I had a bout with Bell’s palsy. I thought I’d had a stroke and my husband rushed me to the hospital. I was told what was wrong with me and sent to a neurologist. When he was able to see me he said I needed to have a lumbar puncture. When I went to have the procedure done, the neurologist walked in and proceeded to STAB me in my back five times. He hit nerves three of those times and was not able to get the fluid he needed. He then told me to get up and get dressed and he walked out. He had his receptionist schedule an appointment for me with a radiologist.
I waited for five weeks for the test results to come back. Finally, after I never heard from him, I called his office and was told I had to come in to get the results. He looked me in the eye and said there’s nothing wrong with you go home. So I went home. A few days later my feet and legs went numb. I went to see my family doctor and told her what was going on. She sent me to another neurologist. This neurologist requested the test results from the first guy. Right on the top in plain English were the words, Diagnosis: Multiple Sclerosis.
The new neurologist gave me a movie to watch about MS and information on the medication he wanted me to start on. I learned to give myself a shot everyday.
No body told me that MS was so expensive. The job I was working when I was first diagnosed did not offer health insurance so my husband had me on his. Also, when I had exacerbations I missed days from work that I was not paid for. We started falling behind on our bills. I eventually got a better paying job with my own insurance but by that time we were so behind in everything we couldn’t catch up. In 2006, our house was put into foreclosure. We moved into a one bedroom apartment.
In October of 2007, I fell and broke my ankle due to MS. I was unable to work and have been out of work since then. After that our car was repossessed. We have no way to get around because with what little bit of money we could scrape up we bought a used car and the engine went bad.
My husband is the only one working. He works so hard trying to make his check stretch throughout the month. Sometimes, I have to do without medicines so we can have food. This causes me to have a relapse. My parents help us out as much as they can. They go as far as paying for my doctor’s appointments and medicine. They also give me money to have. I appreciate everything that they are doing but they have to pay for my baby brother to complete college.
I feel so useless. I wish I could work and help out but I am now blind in one eye, I have no balance, I am constantly dizzy, and I have a headache constantly. I also have arthritis in my spinal cord. It is getting to the point where sometimes I feel that my family would be better off with out me in it. If I hadn’t got sick, none of this would be happening. I can’t do anything to help bring money into the household. I applied for disability and was denied so I am in the process of appealing. Meanwhile, we are broke and have no car and my husband can only work and sleep because he is working so hard. I want to do something to help him and be able to repay my parents.
I believe in God and attend church. I pray and have faith but the way my life is going has left me feeling like God is not listening to me. I have faith that he is going to step in and send help one day but I keep wondering when. My life is falling apart and it is affecting the life of my husband as well.

hello, here's a joke from janet walker of the US to welcome u. by the way, how did you get to know this wonderful site of God?

    FISHERMAN

A guy is 72 years old and loves to fish.

He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard a voice say,

    'Pick me up.'

He looked around and couldn't see any one.

He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again,

    'Pick me up.'

He looked in the water and there, floating on the top, was a frog.

The man said, 'Are you talking to me?'

The frog said, 'Yes, I'm talking to you.

Pick me up then, kiss me and I'll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.

I'll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride!'

The man looked at the frog for a short time, reached over, picked it up carefully, and placed it in his front pocket.

The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?
I said kiss me and I will be your beautiful bride.'

He opened his pocket, looked at the frog and said, 'Nah, at my age I'd rather have a talking frog.'

    With age comes wisdom.

    Hey Jacy,
Your story has broken my heart. Jacy are you a thither, I know! what do you have to tithe, but God's word said in Malachi 3:6 we should test Him, and its the only place in scriptures where God said we are to test him. It is out of our nothingness God wants us to give him. I myself sometimes feel as if God is not hearing my prayers, but He said, when we can't see his hands we are to trust His heart.Remember the story about the Widow of Zarephath, it was out of her nothingness that she gave to Elijah, an sometimes God puts us into certain position to see if we will trust Him. Let us not wonder around the desert any longer, let us prove God at His words. I will just pray with you now.

Father in the name of Jesus i come to you in behalf of my sister, i pray that your perfect will be done in her life, i pray about sin of omission and sin of commission.I come against every generational curses now, on both sides, father and mother, and Lord Jesus, nothing about Jacy is hidden from you , you created her and you do not have a 'B' plan for her, as you have said in Ps. 139, she is fearfully and wonderfully made, before anythings happens to her you know it fully, and in the name of Jesus i rebuke all infirmities over her body and plead the precious blood of Jesus over her and her family right now, i pray that all arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of he living God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (1Cor. 10:5) we pray in Jesus name. Amen. My dear sister start giving God the praise, even when you do not see anything to praise, it is when we praise God that our breakthrough will come.

    Much Love
