thank you so much for that lovely warm welcome. I nearly left replying to you until the morning as its 12.55 am here in England, but such a swift and pleasant message demands an early reply.

I hope to make friends here, but, more importantly, to be able to contribute something worthwhile to the lives of others.

I was born again 42 years ago, but, like the apostle Paul, and in Joyce Meyer's words, "I'm not where I want to be but I'm not where I used to be !"

Railways are a hobby - as are computers, so watch it - I might try and pick your brains !!

I am divorced and widowed (in that order) and now have a lovely Christian fiancee, whom God found for me on the Internet - No ! I don't think He had to go on ebay to get her...................

I have a son and a daughter and two grandsons.

I am retired due to ill-health: I have what I think stateside you call CFIDS: we know it as ME. Because of this you will undoubetedly find my postings sporadic, which is another reason I thought I had better reply to you now as I have no idea how I shall be feeling in the morning !

Anyway, thank you again for your welcome: I look forward to having fellowship with lots of you before too long.
