Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

I read your comment on the group's page. We can't keep looking at the past. Those things will never change. God uses these things in our past to learn from them and to make us wiser. Look ahead and focus on Him do not look around at the problems of life or you will just drown in them. Remember when Jesus asked Peter to get out of the boat and to walk to Him on the water. Peter did but when confronted with the wind, became afraid and began to sink. Jesus reached out and caught him but admonished him by saying "You of little faith, he said, "why did you doubt?" Just remember the one who brought you out onto the water can keep you from drowning. So keep walking in faith and don't take your eyes from Him. If you need to talk, I am here. I am going through a really bad time in my marriage also. So I know where you are coming from.

YOu dont know me, but Im Paige, and iM another moderator here on the net. I have been here over a year and a half and I love it here. I know that there is other Christian sites, but Im pretty comfortable here. I love my family here, and I know that you will too.
I noticed that you like to draw. That is soo cool. I have been an artist all my life. Go check out my page. I have a few things I have done there. But since I came to Christ in 2002,the Lord has blessed me with a job at painting murals and artwork for buisnesses,homes, and churches. I love to work at the church because it is such a great environment for my kids. I have 2 small kids. 4 and one. I couldnt have kids till I came to Christ. I had did soo much damage to my body that I couldnt have kids before Christ. After Christ, 2 years later, I had my boy, then poof, had my girl...its crazy.
I see that you struggle as a single mom. I understand. I know alot of lovely young mothers who are single and I think that would be such a hard thing to live with day in and day out. But, you are in Gods hands when before you werent. God is your husband now and will always be. I know its hard. How do I know? Well, I may not know how hard it all is, but I know what its like to be hurt,neglected,abused,rejected,beat up,raped,lied to,manipulated, and threatened. I have had a lifetime of that in various ways from various people. Mainly men. I wont get into all of it unless oyu want to know more.(You probably thinkIM crazy!!!) Well, Im crazy for Jesus. Im married now, and he is a great man. but it took me alot of years to find the right one, and alot of pain to go along with it. IM married, but I never see him. he works soo much that I feel like a single mom. So, I dont know what is worse.
Im just trying to give you some comfort and to let you know that God will NEVER fail you. He promised. He will seem like He isnt there, but trust that He is and He knows what He is doing. Sometimes its hard, and honey, I know. I still struglle with trust issues. But, be encouraged that you are not alone. I would love to be your friend,sister. Id love to get to know you more and talk about art! Im blessed to meet another artist! That is soo cool! Thank you for sharing!! I hope to see some of your work sometime. Please keep in touch, ok??

He is always working for our good whether we feel it or not. Im a "feely" type of person, so its hard to just have faith that he will. I always want to feel everything. I just saw your comment in; Separated, Divorced, or loss of a spouse support net. I created that group because of my own expearence of being separated after 25 years. It has been 2 years and 7 seven months now that I have been separated. My wife is very backslidden and I just found out last week that she is using hard drugs. We live in the same house in separate apartments for the last year and a half so my daught who is 17 could stay in the home she grew up in. It has not been an easy road to say the least, but I still haven't filed for divorce. I have been working with a Christian councelor for the last few months and God has helped in so many ways. Just remember divorce isn't an unpardonable sin. God will help you every step of the way and his love never wavors for you.

If there is a time we must trust the Lord it is these uncertain times we are in. And certainly the Lord will not fail us. I want to share with you this Scripture passage which is so precious to me:

hello christie, i came to visit your page again and here's a joke i got from the AAG forum to cheer u up-

BIGGER TURKEY-
A woman walks into a butcher's shop just before closing time and asks, "Do you have any turkey?"

The butcher opens his fridge, takes out his only turkey and puts it on the weighing scales. It weighs six pounds.

The woman looks at the turkey and at the scales and asks, "Do you have one that's a bit bigger than this one, please?" The butcher puts the turkey back into the fridge and then takes it out again, but this time when he puts it on the scales he keeps his thumb on the turkey. The scales now show eight pounds.

"That's wonderful," says the woman. "I'll take both of them, please!"

(Ha ha ha.... gotcha butcher!)
