In answer to your question, "eschatology" is the study of end times--the last days before the return of Jesus Christ. The Bible has many prophecies to alert us to those times, and, in my opinion, those prophecies are fulfilling rapidly--on a daily basis. Do you have thoughts on this subject? Be blessed!

I have tried, unsuccessfully,to get back with God, but have failed on my own, so I gave up, only to find myself miserable, once again, so I "let go and let God" and found this site!

I just read that you are a grandfather to a bubbly 6 year old boy. That's too cool, I have a grandson that will be turning 6 in Sept. I also have 5 other biological grandchildren and 4 adopted grandchildren. ( I am one blessed grandma )

Alberta is about 2500 miles,from Ontario, give or take a few hundred miles.
My prince charming is from Kingston, which is in south-east Ontario.
I live in Northern Alberta, which is 8 hours by air from the North Pole so we get alot if COLD icy winds and many storms in the winter.

You are a very perceptive individual, even if you are all the way over there in the beautiful Phillipines...I have been struggling with myself more than ever lately. I have been searching out listings for local NA meetings and have found one at a local Catholic Parish. They are the same parish that I visited when I began looking for a home church, and also where I found a pamphlet for World Wide Marriage Encounters, which Todd and I went to for their weekend retreat. I believe it saved our marriage, and it was a wonderful resource. I don't know why I am surprised that NA also meets there. I have found another home church that I've really enjoyed going to until lately. For some reason I feel distant from them, like they are getting too caught up in the religion and have forgotten that I am flesh and blood. I will try to make it to the first NA meeting at the parish on Thursday of this week @ 6:30 p.m., so say I prayer that I make it and that I remain open to the help they have to offer. The top middle picture is Michael's girl friend and him 1 month before he died of cancer. It would have been wonderful to have her as my daughter in law. She's a wonderful Christian young lady.
The picture at the bottom left is my girls, Michael (age13) and me.
The Birthday cake was from his memorial... he told me I couldn't have a funeral... he said his life was to be celebrated, not mourned. We had his memorial on his 21st birthday.
He was an amazing young man, I miss him a lot.

Second, I've known about the site when surfing about some place where I can interact with other Christians. I had a problem that time and I know I need somebody who doesn't know me but can understand what I'm going through. then when I click some words I can't remember he he, POP! there come's allaboutgod.com... well' I wasn't able to unload my problems but I know I will soon have friends I can ran too whenever I am so far from God... well, It happens and to have somebody on the list I can run to and hope to be that somebody also, is a great help...
I do sometimes open my email add here but I hope to visit it often if I will get a job. as of this moment I still am finding for a job. being a tutor for Koreans dull my visions... please help me pray also for it...
