    Hi Brother Andrew,

How good to see you up this early. You are fast becoming (in my eyes) what brother BoBU is to many of us. AAG is surely making strides and we need to thank God for pointing His committed servants this way. Our strength lies in our fellowship...and being there for each other: with a word of prayer, a welcoming note, a word of encouragement, a hanky for a teary eye...the list is long. This is not praise, but for the short time I have known you...followed your threads, I think you have all the marks of the Bibilical Andrew-always pointing people to Christ. what a blessed hallmark!

From Africa, Australia sounds real far...farther than i feel I am from Bro Bushman. Not to Jehovah God who has enabled us meet. And...this is a secret: I always salute all those who are bold enough to stand tall with their spouses. In our African culture, most communities consider it a weakness to be seen sticking by your wife...always taking her places with you. REAL MEN walk alone in macho Africa...what a lie Andrew!! let's pull down the divisive barriers!!! We all start in our households...then we face the world: new creature, freed by Christ...therefore FREE INDEED!

Be blessed today and pass my love to your beloved. In Christ's name-Pst. Bernhard C.

    Andrew,

I never had a closer look at the pictures on your page...I have just done that now...and it is difficult to believe that you drew them yourself. I had to believe however when I saw the drawing capability reflected in your name,an-DREW! You really DREW them!!!Reminds me of creativity we all inherited from God...he is the ultimate architect, ain't He my brother?

Your wife must be proud of you for drawing for her the elephants she likes. How about bringing her over to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve to view them in flesh and blood even suppose you have done that already?

Yes brother, I agree with you for we are all passionate about learning to walk without stumbling...And man, oooh man, you must be a jolly hilarious fellow for this input in your other stuff about yourself "...I know that am a bit of a strange one to them at times but I know that in his own good time the "Big Fella" will sort that out for us..." speaks volumes for all. Sometimes I just wonder how our kids view us...

Praise the name of the Lord Andrew!!-Pst. Bernhard C.

Thanks buddy for the quick reply!

May He grant you occasion to remember us all during your four-days'-off...and all the best with your new engagement! I like driving even though I have no vehicle of my own. Wish we could trade places with the mining trucks...but then, He gives to each according to His pleasure.

Good day to you Andrew. Your friend-Pst. Bernhard C.

I am sorry but I didn't know Lyn. I checked out members and found no one there so they must have left the net. Like church sometimes people just leave a lot of times with a part of our hearts.
I live in Vermont and 100 years ago it was full of sheep, but now it is mostly dairy farms. If you go traveling around there are stone walls everywhere which were used to contain the sheep, now they are just nice to look at. You sound like an interesting fellow. I have always thought of Australia as one of the cooest places on Earth, if not for any other reason your animal life. I also am blessed by Hillsong, which has blessed the whole body of Christ with awesome worship music. God bless you this fine day.

    Hey Andrew,

Looks like you have been pretty busy. I had wondered where you had hidden yourself so you can imagin how happy I am to hear from you again today. I am thankful that the Lord has protected you from the near-mishap with the trailer and though you incurred some damage, its heart-warming to know that you came out unscathed.

You know something brother? What i like more about you is that you have CERTAINITY in all you do. That is FAITH Andrew and i believe with you that the pre-mining test will come out ok because Christ presents His perfect self on our behalf...everywhere.

Pass my love to your wife and God bless you all. Just one thing before you go dear, I hope you are already friends with Ramona P. Jacobz. If you aren't, please seek out her hand for she is simply put...a blessing to this family.

Love and miss you brother-Pst. Bernhard C

thank you for your comment - I trust that God is using me to help my younger "counterpartas" - we are, after all, in His service. I am happy that the Lord sometimes lays on my heart what to share - and I assure you a lot of prayer and research goes into it - because I am not a pastor and am afraid of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time - but praise Him if you have found some substance in my message.

Love you lots - and send you and your loved ones warm Jesus hugs

    Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your kind words about my knowledge, You have got me in the position now where so "blown up" that I can't wait to hear myself speak. :-)

Yes! Many people make simple mistakes, we all do.
As long as you are not adamant that you can never be wrong. I have eaten humble pie many times.
I See from a previous chat Mark had with you, that youe back is given trouble. Is it permanent or simply came on with a bad move?
As a Fireman I broke my back in two places jumping from a 2 Storey building. I was 20 then.
Then again at age +/- 70 I broke it again in two places but in a different area of the back. Tha's what you get for walking backwards while carrying a heavy motor.
But the Lord is good and after both incidents I walk about as though nothing had happened. Pain there is, but not that I need medication or anything, simply a short lie down for 10 minutes.

I trust the Lord will Bless us as we pass comments.
My wife Gene is a Messianic Jew and a tremendous Prayer warrior.
OK my Brother the Lord shine on you both.
Your friend in Christ - Ron.

    Hello my brother Andrew
I must tell you that I did not actually serve in Vietnam. I served at the end of the war and never went to Vietnam. I was a "grunt" as we call ourselves or an infantryman but the Paris peace accords brought the war to an end before I was in. So, I apologize if I misled you. I did serve my country proudly and I know what it's like to lose a friend (a fellow Marine) but not in combat during training. A Vietnam era veteran is one who served during the time of the war but was not in combat. Joining the military at that time was not very popular. But I was 18 and was sure the Marine Corps would set me straight. I would like to help you and your friends if I can. So I will search with you for information. Two heads are better than one. Andrew motorcycles have been in my blood since I was twelve years old. My brother-in-law rode motocross for a long time. I used to ride his BSA 500 Goldstar. It took me a long time until I got the Harley. They are expensive and with a family other things take priority. I Love to talk to God when I'm on the bike. It feels like flying and the smells of the countryside are great even the manure! I'm a poor kid from a very rural part of New York state. The colors and smells of God's earth seem even better on the bike.
    May God Bless you Brother,

Greeting in the name of Jesus christ my dear Andrew .

you are such great blesings for me , i pray that Lord Bless you more this is very important for me to you dear , i really love you and long ,

I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty
    (2 Corinthians 6:18 )
Today, let us meditate upon our Heavenly Father who would come into our presence and bless us. Our loving Heavenly Father says, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." (Exodus 33:14). The Almighty God says, "I will go before you and bless you."

The presence of our Heavenly Father could be likened to a father and his son who went shopping. The little fellow was overwhelmed with joy over the thought that his father would get him many things from the shop. He caught hold of his father's fingers and kept walking along the street. It was a long way before they could actually reach the shop. After walking a little while, that little fellow became tired. He said, "Papa! Please hold my fingers. I am not able to walk anymore." Again they strolled. After a while he caught hold of his father's hands very tightly. Immediately his father picked him up in his mighty arms and carried him. He did not want his son to walk for such a long time. The little fellow knowing that he was safe in the arms of his father at once went to sleep holding on to the gentle chest of his father. He had a nice nap for a short time. On reaching the shop, the little fellow looked refreshed and ready to get his things. He had a very good rest in a very safe place.

"I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:18).

God not only grants us the desire of our hearts but also tells us to give away all our burdens and cares to him and He promises to give us rest (Matthew 11:28).

He will be with us and lead us. How does He lead us when we walk with Him?

He will lead us in the righteous path; will turn the darkness to light and make the crooked places straight. He promises that He would surely do as He had said and would never forsake us.

    Thank You Andrew,

I am nothing but dust. I trust that the prayers of the brethren drew an answer from His seat of power.

Glad that you found time to write...and i trust that you find fulfillment in your new duties.

God bless and as you always rightly say, Godspeed!

    Your friend-Pst. Bernhard C.

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
    (Lamentations 3:22)
Dear friend! The Bible encourages us to seek God early in the morning. Those who seek God early in the morning receive the grace of God and do well in life.

In the Bible we see that God commanded Moses to get ready and come into His presence early in the morning (Exodus 34:2). Moses sought the Lord early in the morning and God gave him the wisdom and power and authority to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

King David was a person who sought the Lord diligently early in the morning (1 Samuel 17:20; Ps 5:3; 63:1). It was the early morning meditation that gave David the assurance that God was with him and he was able to defeat Goliath. Even after becoming the King of Israel, he sought the Lord diligently early in the morning and never failed to seek Him. Even the prophet Isaiah has said that God awoke him every morning (Isaiah 50:4). All these men were ordinary people but because they sought the Lord early in the morning, they received the wisdom, grace, strength and power to do mighty things for Him.

Beloved! The Lord desires to bless you with His wisdom, power and strength to do mighty things for Him. If you too would meditate on the Word of God and wait in His presence for His guidance, you will find God empowering you with His wisdom, courage and strength and knowledge and the world will be in awe of you.

When you seek the Lord early in the morning, He shall bestow His grace on you. The Bible says, “Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not” (Lamentations 3:22).

As you meditate on the Word, the Holy Spirit will teach you the Word. When the Holy Spirit teaches you, you will surpass the worldly people in knowledge and skill and wisdom. The Lord will use you to do mighty exploits for His glory and make you a blessing to the world.

hello, here's a joke for you!

Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?''

The mother replied, "Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life."

The child thought about this for a moment then said, "So why is the groom wearing black?"
  • felixpadua

hello, here's a joke i found at the AAG blog section! God bless you today and always.

    Which Way to Heaven?

Reverend Billy Graham tells of a time early in his ministry when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was. When the boy had told him, Dr. Graham thanked him and said, "If you'll come to the Baptist Church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to heaven."

The boy replied, "I don't think I'll be there... You don't even know your way to the post office."

Hi Andrew, yes this site was a great discovery for me the other day and it has made me so much happier to have friends out there to talk to. Thanks so much for your good wishes. I am learning so much more about God through this medium, and wish that I had taken more time to discover Christ a long time ago. I have always been a Believer but now feel there is so much more to learn.

Hi brother, I am so touched by the love you have for your co-worker and friend. I have had men I worked with call me years after leaving where I worked and tell me they had been born again.
Just continue to show the same kind of unconditional love to him and I pray that God will give you the opportunity to lead him to Jesus. I also pray that God will touch his body and restore his health, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Hi there Brother, I hope that I will have that greater wisdom you mentioned. I know from experience that God will keep working in our lives to teach us things and He doesn't care if it takes 40 years of going around in circles in a wilderness like the Children of Israel did.

When I was in Bible School we studied great evangelist for the last couple hundred years and looked at their mistakes they made. This was very sobering for me and it did help me not to make some of the same mistakes, but I have also made some the same mistakes they did and God was relentless to teach me these lessons. He is a great Father, and knows what is best for us, amen.

Be blessed in all things dear brother.

    In the love of Jesus

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I will continue to lift David up in prayer. My greatest hope is that he would know the Lord as Savior and Redeemer. God is so faithful. He loves to leave us in a state of AWE...'cause He is Awesome! Romans 8:26-30 is greatly encouraging. God allows circumstances in our lives that are challenging and difficult. ...but we continue to press forward knowing that He is in control.

God wants us all to realize our need for Him in all things (as if you didn't know that already).
:) God Bless you. Love in Christ, Carla
