Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” in the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

Chat Box: There is a chat box accessible from the bottom of every page here on AAG. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Private Chats: You can invite anyone who is on line to a private chat by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page followed by clicking on “Private Chat.”.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

We are glad you are here,

here's a joke i got from the AAG forum to cheer you up-

    BIGGER TURKEY-
A woman walks into a butcher's shop just before closing time and asks, "Do you have any turkey?"

The butcher opens his fridge, takes out his only turkey and puts it on the weighing scales. It weighs six pounds.

The woman looks at the turkey and at the scales and asks, "Do you have one that's a bit bigger than this one, please?" The butcher puts the turkey back into the fridge and then takes it out again, but this time when he puts it on the scales he keeps his thumb on the turkey. The scales now show eight pounds.

"That's wonderful," says the woman. "I'll take both of them, please!"

    (Ha ha ha.... gotcha butcher!)

God bless you Susan and your husband and may Our God through Christ His Son lead your husband and guide him to the job He wants for him and very soon, may our Lord bless you as you both seek Him and trust and rely on His Word.
My husband was out of job for couple years, it seemed so hopeless looking for a job and it was not coming his way, it was tough but God saw us through and He will see you both through this, be encouraged!
God says He shall supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Phillipians4:19.
May God alone by His spirit put your husband in the right place with the right people at the right time for an even better job than the one he had before and this in Jesus name i pray.

    hey Susan,
I saw your message in the prayer room and I believe God wants me to respond.
I am sooo sorry about the loss of your dad and I understand you miss him. Please know you can tell God all about your feelings and how you miss your dad, better yet to tell God that He is your dad and you love Him too.
God's words are love letters to us and His Word says that He loves you soo much and He will never ever leave you or forsake you, He is the friend the sticks closer than a brother. I love you dear friend and hope to hear from you soon.

Susan, please know that many are praying for you. When God seems farthest away He is still by your side. I will be praying for you and your family this week, for the jobs your need, the faith to carry you and the complete assurance that God is hearing your prayers.
  • Wally

Thank you Susan for your reply, I am happy to be counted as one of your friends. Remember that Jesus is our greatest friend and he is standing by the Father interceding on our behalf. We have to daily and sometimes hourly seek His strength. Paul said to "pray constantly" and in Hebrews we read that Jesus became perfect through his suffering. Our low spots in life bring us closer to God and becoming closer to being perfect in our Christian walk. I will be praying for you and your family, your financial situation but most of all for your walk with Jesus each day. Your Brother in Jesus.

I hope these Holy scriptures will give you comfort:

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. – Matthew 11:28-30

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. – Philippians 4:6
