I'm passionate about...: Becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ and helping others to do the same.

I am passionate for revival to touch the whole world, I am passionate to see young people established in the faith. I am passionate to help hurting people finding help in their hour of need.
My story with God: Many times we come up against the issue of supporting others. Illness, Finances, relationships, and death are a few issues where support is called for.

I want to discuss how we are to support those who are afflicted with illness whether emotional, physical, or spiritual.

As Christians we have a responsibility to care for those who are ill, First by prayer, because we should always be lifting up those who are sick and ask God to heal them.

While we are waiting for that healing to manifest we should be doing all we can by supporting them in a practical since. Bring meals, visit them, go do errands for them, do Bible studies with them if they are up to it. And most of all keep praying with, and for them.

Do not ever make the person feel bad if they are not instantly healed. The two pillars of love are patience and kindness, our job is to support them and not judge them.

“Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;” ( James 5:14 )

“Because I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you welcomed me. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you took care of me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’
“Then the righteous will say to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you something to eat, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or see you naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”
40The king will answer them, “I tell you with certainty, since you did it for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.” ( Matthew 25:35-40 )

“And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.' ( Mark 6:16 )

“...they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." ( Mark 16:18b, )

Also there will be support that is needed for those who have mental issues. Our support for them could be to make sure they are taking their prescribed medications, visiting them, and to just be in their life for them.

The scripture says to comfort ( be near ) the feeble minded. ( Fainthearted, discouragement, little strength, timid ) (1 Thessalonians 5:14 0

This scripture really says a lot about what it means to comfort some one with a mental illness, “to be near them”.

Many times we just stay clear of them and hope the secular doctors can help them.

You may know of someone in your church who has one of their family member diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Others might have a family member who is suicidal, and maybe your best Christian friend has fallen into clinical depression.

It is at these times that we need to draw near to them and bring comfort, support, and encouragement to them.

There was a story in Mark chapter two about a paralyzed man who was brought to Jesus to be healed, His friends were so disparate to see their friend healed that they literally tore the roof off the house so they could lower the cot with the paralyzed man was on it down into the house where Jesus was, and the man was healed.

This is such a picture of how we are to support and help the sick. These men loved their friend and had faith to believe Jesus could heal him and they were so convinced that they went to extremes to see their friend healed.

It makes all the difference in the world for those who are afflicted with physical or mental illness to know that they are loved and do not have to face their illness alone.
Other stuff about me:: I write devotionals that I share with others, I write them from the things God is teaching me every day.

I know how discouraged we can get and how important it is to find a refreshing word of encouragement. I desire to have the moral character of Jesus to develop more in my life so that glory will be given to God. I desire to touch others with the love of God in this new year like never before.

I want nothing more than to hear my Lord say well done thy good and faithful servant, to end my race well for Him and to finish the race of faith he has given to me.

Heavenly Father, I would like to seriously pray for your son Bob B. who is going to message among the people, please be with him during the sessions which he produces. Grand him more faith and courage and show him effective way may find their true fulfillment as he learn to do Thy will that knowledge and wisdom come from you.
There are so many decisions to make and you have said if we lack wisdom, all we need to do is ask you. My bro Bob really need you to pour wisdom into his mind and let him to have your mighty wisdom that all young man women in the world that they have bigger dream than themselves so they will have to trust you to make their dream come true. Lead them by your son Bob and give them a will and heart to be all you created them to be and enable them to be generous to those who are less fortunate with your full of love and compassion and let them to know that allowing you to direct their way is the smartest thing they can do and protect to your son Bob from the people who would harm physically, emotionally and mentally and please to do the same as you have done to your servant Jabez.

Hi Bob, yes it is hard to work out about FGBMFI Demos was give the vision to raise it up for the end times but it seems to be stalled in our country too. But going very well in Sth America and Africa.
I will keep on with it and will continually seek more of God in every which way.

Yes, here also will be the same as you have said it because I can find the Messiah and his truth is within you who is always faithful. I did not get any fear even to go to the western part of Nepal where is the big majority of the anitchrist of maoist communist hold. Your prayer is always precious to me and ministry.

Hey Brother,

Funny thing is that I was just thinking about saying hi to you, but you beat me to it :-)

I have heard of the Alpha Course. I have looked into it and know people who utlilize it. It is a fantastic method to help people connect and grow in Christ. Praise God for your willingness to lead it. I will be praying. We are doing pretty well. The family is good. The ministry is solid, but have stalled in our numerical growth. We have threee major outreaches coming up over the next month. Please be in prayer for them as the Lord reminds you of us. We are doing a community picnic with the focus on children (last year we met about 150 people). We will follow that up with a Children's Sunday service the following day. The whole service is designed for the chidren and will include an interactive message. We also are planning a Sunrise Service at the park where we meet.

Amen Bob, that gives me a relief seriously as sometimes I feel this pressure I do not know its whereabout. But thanks man of God. Yes my family memebers been convicted though some it never sink and only if we are together at home where they feel better for this life and they become active. But due to work as well I have to leave my home town to my place of work.

So everywhere I have been I do represent try to represent a life of a Christian in act and thinking. I do help in local church through different activities as the pastors allocate to me.

Tonight I will be taking a flight home, I am visiting my wife and i will be back to Belgium for the final exams on my masters degree. But in all things I am thankful to the Almight for the perfect plan.

Please pray for my wife Heather, who has mental health problems. She is a wonderful person, but because of her mental health she has mood changes.

I am with the Salvation Army - A Corps Sergeant Major, not that that means much. I am a Christian first, and want to let everyone know about the Lord. Evangelism and prayer are my two main passions.
I was in a car accident. Hit by a car when 5 years old. I sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury and was 8 weeks unconscious. The accident left me unable to walk, talk or hear, but throughout time God healed me. Today, I use a stick, but testify to God's amazing healing everywhere I go. I lived in Long Island for 16 years. It was supposed to be a 2 week stay, but turned into 16 years of sereving the Lord. I was a deacon with the Assemblies of God!

Here in Scotland, I work with Brain Injury and the Homeless. Because of my disability, I do not work full-time, but do voluntary work for the Lord!

How are you? It has been a while since I was last on AAG. It is good news to hear about the snow you had, but you are probaly on spring now. How are things going with your son in Collorado?

Well I'm not married yet, but I can't wait to get married. It think is will be awesome. I've watched Fireproof the other night and I have to say; what a blessing that was. I just realized again that there will always be work to be done in a relationship and it is always a proses of knowing each other. So many couples make the mistake of not making special time for each other. I told a friend yesterday that so many things in our lives have stolen time and we as western civalization don't make time for one another. He actually went through a devorce, and he said that is so true.
