My story with God
I came to Christ in my early teen years after experiencing a traumatic background of abuse. I lived a really rebellious lifestyle in my late teen year. Who would have ever knew that I would be here sharing this story right now on AAG!! I rededicated my life back to Christ in Nov 2002. I knew that I was saved and I would go to heaven but I did not have an intimate relationship with God like I needed and now I realize what I was searching for. I have grown spiritually and I am not done yet. I am a firm believer that if you truly have been touched by the Lord that there will be no turning back. God is who he says he is, His word is living and our guide on how to live day to day. I love him for saving a sinner like me!!
Other stuff about me:
I have two sons 4 and 2 years of age. I am a full time student at LSU-S. I love to read my bible and self help books not only to help myself but others to as the Lord leads.

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

We are glad you are here,

Soul Food for the day: ON PURPOSE
“All things work together for good…to those
Who are the called according to His purpose”
    -Romans 8:28

Are you passing through the deep waters of trial and disappointment?
Does everything seem to be going against u?
These apparent misfortunes are not accidents.
The Lord allows such things for a blessed purpose!
So patiently trust Him. If you know the Lord,
Someday you will praise Him for it all!

    God transforms trials into triumphs!
Have a blessed day to you, my friend.

GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD. HIS LOVE
    ENDURES FOREVER.
    ( PSALM 136:1 *NIV )

When we count all of our blessings we start to realize
how wonderful our Heavenly Father has been to us. For He not
only helps us in time of need, He blesses us abundantly as well.

Therefore we should; GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, CALL
ON HIS NAME; MAKE KNOWN AMONG THE NATIONS WHAT
HE HAS DONE. SING TO HIM, SING PRAISE TO HIM; TELL
OF HIS WONDERFUL ACTS. ( CHRONICLES 16:8-9 )

Further, why not start each day by counting your many
blessings, and sharing with others what God has done for you.
For King David did, for he wrote; I WILL GIVE YOU THANKS IN
THE GREAT ASSEMBLY; AMONG THRONGS OF PEOPLE I
    WILL PRAISE YOU. ( PSALM 35:18 )

Be thankful for all that God has done for you, and
thank Him in your prayers! For then He will smile down on you,
like a proud Father would on an obedient child!

Now please know that: I THANK MY GOD EVERY TIME I
REMEMBER YOU. IN ALL MY PRAYERS FOR ALL OF YOU,
I ALWAYS PRAY WITH JOY. Amen.
    ( PHILIPPIANS 1:3-4 )
