Aaron is appointed to help Moses.

INSIGHT

God does not need any one of us. He wants us and He would like to use us, but God does not need us. Take away one person, and the work of God is not diminished -- it goes on.

When God calls us to a ministry, it is for our benefit. If we are unwilling or impure, He can get the work done through someone else. We must realize that everything God asks of us is ultimately for our benefit -- even serving Him. Moses is a good example of that fact.

It is HE who makes us holy!! HE is doing the sanctifying work in us!! It’s not up to US to strive to be holy! It is the Holy Spirit who makes us willing, and then who cooperates with willingness to make it a reality!!



This is so correct. Was glad to see it in your blog. Glad someone else can see what I read. Amen. It is not us that needs to stirve. So many chruches and Christians teach we need to strive. It is the holy spirit. Thank you Lord. Do I have to add a new pass word to read your blogs. As it wont accept this one on here. I use.

Thanks for the prayers for my little Michaela,,,,,,,"Shingles" is very painful,,,,especially for a nine year old. She's quite a little trooper though,,,,everytime the pain comes she calls for me and we pray until the pain fades away. thanks, Chas

Luke 4:17. And there was handed him [the roll of] the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened (unrolled) the book and found the place where it was written.
Luke 4:18. The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity].
Luke 4:19. To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.
Luke 4:20. Then He rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing [attentively] at Him.
Luke 4:21. And He began to speak to them; Today this Scripture has been fulfilled while you are present and hearing.
Isaiah 61:1. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.
Isaiah 61:2. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor} and the day of vengence of our God, to comfort all who mourn.
2 Corinthians 4:4. For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.

I am glad I visited your page> It confirms all the hunches I had during our chat. You are a gifted Christian...and one with a passion for serving Christ. If there's one thing that made my day, it is your obsevation that your cats are 'not Christian". That sent me really laughing..only I think that is a good observation if we are to go by what Paul wrote: where be your Christianity if there is still fighting and strife among you?
