- I have been in and out of the church since a child, but recently one of my friends went back to Jesus and turned her light over and seeing his light within her made me envious and i decided rather than being envious to seek Him out and i have been seekin ever since, and am lookin for anyone to help strengthen me in my walk

- I have a 3yr old son and a 1 yr old daughter, i have been engaged to their father for 6 yrs and we are prayin for the big wedding of our dreams, otherwise God will be guiding our footsteps to city hall pretty soon :)

I read this scripture today and it really helped me: Psalm 52:8 "For I am like a sheltered olive tree protected by the Lord Himself. I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever." Isnt that good? I like short and sweet scripture. It makes it easier to remember throughout the day. Also, this is a good one,Psalm 4:8" I will both lie down in peace and sleep For you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Im glad He is with me and watches me like that. Arent you? Anyway, I thought Id drop oin and say hello. I love you and think about you daily. Thank you for all your love,and advice about motherhood. I really get upset sometimes but I always reach for help instead of isolating myself in pity parties. Love you!!

Hello sweet friend!How are you doing today? I hope you are feeling ok. I still have that darn headache!!! I dont want to have to keep going to the doctors all the time. It is a waste of $ sometimes. I hope and pray this goes away soon. Its hard to do that much when you have one of these headaches. Especially with two tiny children!! You know how that is! How are they by the way? Does your son go to preschool? Mine doesnt yet. Am I bad? I hope to. I want to get him into a private school that is part of my church. Its a highly credited church and I love all that is available to the kids. But anyway, its in Gods hands. he has got a plan and His plan is always the best. Well, girl, I have to run, but I hope you are doing good and remember that you are loved by us all here on AAG!!~

Guardians Tag Ministry Hey girl!!! Good to have you back. I totally understand about taking a break from the computer. I took one for 3 months this last summer. Im glad I did. God kinda made me do it in many ways. Now Im glad IM back and ready to felloowship. but anyway, I heard of the headstart program too! A new friend of mine told me about it. Well, like you I missed the registraton time and all that. So next year Im going to be a little more prepared. I will check out that Headstart program out. Yes, my daughter is JUST LIKE YOURS. She will not stop moving and it really runs me down. i feel like such a wimp. I have worked out all my life, then when I had my first, I still worked out but didnt have the time I used to. Now I have her,, and I invested in a treadmill. Thats all I can do. Excersiza always helps. I run my treadmill into the groung believe me. But anyway, Im gald that you are here and I cant wait to hear back form you. God bless you!! You have a great night, Youare soo loved!!

Hello sweetie,Thank you soo much for your love and thoughts. It means alot. I have had a rough couple of days. I am struggling soo much that I cant see straight. I am having trouble with this time of year because my uncle took his life last July and so it will be the first Xmas without him. Plus christmas wont be the same anymore it seems since my mom is selling the house I grew up in and practically lived in for 25years. That house meant the world to me, like some source of comfort. You knew that moms house was "home" every year especially around Christmas. I know life changes, and change is inevitable, but Im still struggling with it quite a bit. Please understand. I feel as if people dont get it or that Im just being too sensitive. "I need to move on". Well, yes, but I need some love and support. Anyway, love you and I hope to hear from you soon. Hello gf!!How are you? Sorry that I have been a stranger! I miss you and always wonder how you are. So, how are things? The kids? Mine are fine. No one is sick at the moment, so that is a plus! I havent had a headache for a few days so that has been nice. I have been kinda down because of my uncles suicide. Its made this time of year really hard. Plus my mom is selling the house I grew up in which is where I have spent every Christmas since I was born, so that has been hard. I didnt know that I was that attached to that house. But I guess I am, so Im trying to mourn over the losses. I get really down one day then Im ok the next. Its a daily fight,you know? Anyway, how are you and your fiance doing? What are your plans for Xmas? U r coming out to see me right?? Just hop on a plane and come on over, ok? Ill be waiting!! We would have a ball together!!!

You have been on my mind alot. How are you doing? How are the kids? My mom took me and the kids to the zoo out here last night to see the lights. It was a beautiful night and the lights were gorgeous. I cant believe that we have no snow yet! My goodness! We usually have a ton of snow by now! The only time I like snow is Christmas and here we are, no snow. Oh well. The meaning of the season is Christ. Our church is selling signs that we can put in our yards during this time of year that read, "Jesus is the reason for the season". I want one soo bad. I love to decorate for Xmas, but it takes me forever. As a perfectionist its hard for me to stop something if it isnt perfect enough. It drives me nuts! Oh Lord help me. I need alot of help, Charlene. Thank God that he has His grace for me. Id be hating it. How is your husband doing? Let me know. You take care, and know that you are loved by us all.

Hey Charlene!How are you doing? I havent heard from you for a while, but then again I havent been online for a few days. just been busy getting ready for the holidays. It seems like this time of year Im just running aound in circles. i have a birthday party for my son this Saturday and Sunday. Then on the 21st I have a bday party for not only my son but for 4 other people in my family. Then of course you have Christmas eve and Christmas day. Then New Years. Oh how time flies around this time of the year then I get really bored and kinda down in January. It sucks. I hope I dont get that way. But anyway, let m eknow how you are. What are the kids up to? Anything that you have done so far for Xmas? The picture above is of me and my son at the zoo lights. It was fun. my mom took us and it was a blast. I really enjoyed all the great lights they had. You are a delight... I think you will actually understand if you live in SA. It is so wonderful to feel protected and sheltered by Jesus. We were even held up at gunpoint in our home four years ago and I have forgiven and forgotten... because these people will eventually be punished. Thank God they did not rape me - how miraculous!
We just carry on loving God and loving all people and I love our church especially since we are so multi racial. My "adopted" grandson Enoch attended the church holiday club and he said: GRANNY I WANT TO JOIN YOUR CHURCH... wOW!!! I adore that kid. He is such a joy to me.

Boo!!! Hello Charlene!You are always on my mind and I have meant to write you, but like always this time of year Im always swamped. I havent had alot of art projects to do but I certainly have had my share of parties. I have hosted 6 parties this month. Am I crazy? Why, yes!! Didnt you know that by now?? It was a nice experience, but I dont think Ill do that many next year. It was a good motivation to clean my house though!!
Anyway, how are you?? How was your Christmas? I hope it was a wonderful and blessed one. What does your family do this time of year? I unfortunately did not see my family. Just my husbands. Long story short, my mother decided that she was "too busy" to do Christmas this year which really upset me because we always do Xmas at her house. Now that she is moving out, she isnt going to have it there anymore. What a crazy time to move though!! I dont know why she couldnt wait till after Christmas, but that is my mother for you. Anyway, I was sad about that, but like always in every situation, God has helped me through it and is still helping me to move on and do my own traditions. Its all about my kids now and as long as they are happy what does it matter, right?? I hope your children really enjoyed theirs. With my sons birthday being soo close to Christmas, he said that he was "soo frustrated. I got too many gifts mom. I dont want to open another one!" I stood back and was blown away. but, he eventually did and enjoyed it. Well, anyway, sorry that I have been a stranger. I hope to see you around here again. Hello girlfriend!Thankyou for the message. I really appreciate that. I have been thinking of you alot and was hoping to hear back from you soon. Im glad that you didnt give up on me as a friend. I have been soo occupied with everything regarding Christmas and all the birthdays I had at my house. Its all over, and now I can rest, but I have to be careful because this time of year can be a real bad time of year for me. I have that seasonal depression this time every year and I hate it. It got better after I came to Christ in 2002 which is a miracle, but I still havent kicked it totally yet. I have these two little ones to care for and I just simply cannot go into that darkness again. I get thinking that Im all alone, no one likes me, Im wierd, and that Im hopeless. I think that God doesnt love me, I get discouraged and frustrated with myself and life. It is awful. It doesnt sound good now does it? So please keep me in prayer. If I come across negative or depressed some days, please be understanding that this is just a phase. Come spring Im alot better. The days are short and cold around here so it is kind of a dark time. Plus I have a nasty cold and it is getting the best of me. I hardly have a voice!! It sucks! My husband thinks it is hilarious because he can actually talk without me interupting. Yes, I guess I talk a little too much. Im a talker in case you havent figured that out yet. But anyway, IM glad that you had a really good Christmas. I am happy for you. I will hopefully have better ones in the years to come. I just have to get used to all the changes life brings. Anyway, Ill let you go, but please keep in touch. Ho ware you doing? I pray that all is going good today. I just thought Id stop in again and see what was up. Im doing ok today. Still a little sick and my voice isnt 100% back yet, but it is getting better. How are you and the kiddos feeling? It is soo cold out here! It is snowing pretty heavily. I liked it around Xmas, but now I want it to go away!! Yuck. I need to get out big time! So what has God done in your life lately? He is humbling me alot and making me think some things over in my life. I definately need to change some bad habits. I want to be a better mom,friend,sister,daughter and wife.

Anyway, how are things? I pray that you are strengthened in the power of His might and embraced by His unconditional love, and grace. He is one we can always count on. I am soo happy for that because I feel at times that I am forgotten, or I cannot trust or intrust to others. But He is good and I am soo glad that I have a hope! How are the babies? Let me know what is up with you and the family. Im doin ok. I still have that nasty cough and hardly a voice, but I do see some improvment. I have got sick way too much this year and it is driving me nuts! Plus we have way too much snow around here. To the point where it is hard to get out of my driveway. The snowplows dont plow our culdesac, so it is lots of fun doing wheele's out in front of my house trying to get out onto the darn street!! Hey, can you come over and take away some of this snow for me? There is enough around here to go around?
Anyway, I am having a friend over for bible study so I gotta go, but keep in touch girl!!

R u fasting without me????? NO FAIR!!! I want in on this fast to you know. Girlfriend!! I need to fast for many reasons, however I cannot go totally off food. I am a borderline diabetic and because of all the abuse that I did to my body, I cannot fast like that. My body and hormones are soooooo out of whack. So I will do what is called a "Daniel Fast". It means that you leave out something you like to eat on a daily basis. I can do that, but not cut everything out. So, are you not eating at all? R u on a juice fast? Be careful my darlin......I ll pray for you, but sometimes I worry for people that fast that long. Maybe its because of the way I feel, I dont know. But God will help you and He will let you know if its getting too much. Not that I dont have faith or that I think you cant do this by any means. I would just stay in tune with what your body is saying to you. God knows your heart and He loves how obedient you are! Gee, you blow me away! Good for you. Keep that fire blazin girlfriend!! You are SHINING!!! hey, maybe we should start a fast support group here on All About God? What do you think???? Ill talk to Greg about it. Hello friend!!Sorry that it took soo long for me to reply to your message. I was gone most of the day yesterday and last night. I went to a really fun fellowship party at a pastors house and it was awesome! I met the most awesome Christian man of God and pastor of The Church of God here in Layton. Oh, it was amazing to sit and chat with him for hours about God,his people,the lost and all the different things that people can do for the Lord to bless eachother. We also shared personal testiminies about our lives about Christ, and it blows me away to see how God has delivered people from the worst lives possible!
He is a african american pastor and he used to be in the hood back in the day. He was locked up and jacked up for a long time, but the Lord got a hold of him and now he is ALL THAT for God. He is on fire and I love the passion He has for God. It has got me excited. He gave me the BEST christian rap music I have ever heard! I was praying to the Lord to please help me find som enew Christian music to add to my collection. Especially with cool beats and energy. Well, he did. You have got to hear this!!! I will try to get it on my page but I am not that computer saavy if you know what I mean. Its really cool.
He was telling me that he met TD Jakes, and Juanita Byrum once and I love those two. Do you?
Anyway, I hope the fast that you are on is going alright. You are strong! I know I need to, I just need to do it. So what else are you doing to make time go faster while you are fasting? Give me some Ideas?

Its been a couple of days since I have been online. I missed you and wanted to know how your fast was coming? Are doing good? Praise God that He is working in you and through you so mightily! I really liked what you added to your page on the 11th. That is really awesome. I love the "shephard parables" It is easy to understand especially to the new believer. I am glad Im a sheep!! I see that you have added a new picture. Cool! I get to see a pic of your husband! Hes handsome, good catch! Is he saved too? If so, you are a lucky woman. My husband isnt, but he is very supportive of my faith and what I want to do. He sees a big change in me and that is cool. but I still fall on my face sometimes. I get really insecure over things soo easily and I get soo paranoid over things that its like a bondage sometimes. So, keep me in prayer about that. It is osmething I must get over in order to experience the blessings that God has for me in my future. Thank you.

Hello stranger!!! I see that u r online!! I had to try to catch you!! I miss you! I am soo sorry that I havent been around too much! I had to take a little break. I was very depressed and needed to just be alone. I am not much good when I feel that way. All that I would do is have a big ole pity party and IM good at that!!! I throw the biggest pity parties!!!! They are really raging parties!!!So I just need some grace from people here. I dont like to feel this way, but sometimes it just happens. So when it does, I cling on to God even more. I have to.
