My story with God
I grew up with the notion of God, never really understood Him, or knew how to serve him, you know, belonged to a church, but had no relationship with God. So when I left high-school, I turned from the church, and started slipping into sin [liquor, drugs, sex]. Amazing thing is that when I was young, I asked God to be in control of my life. I never understood the implication of that, and never pursued it, so during my dark ages [as I like to call it] I often felt guilty about that. Little did I know that God was always there. I now know this, because when I look back at my life then, it;s nothing less than a miracle that I'm still alive, and never ended up in jail. During the last quarter of 2006, [there's no exact date or time], I became aware of a longing inside me to find God, call it a yearning if you will to be closer to Him and learn more. It was a spiritual awakening. I went back to the church that I grew up in, but after about the third or fourth Sunday I said to my wife that I'm not going back there, you see, I felt empty and un-fullfilled, I knew there was more to serving God than what they were doing there. The next Sunday I went to a service in a conference venue at a guest house near where I live, and I found people who thaught like me, not a strange sect or anything, just a small group of people, studying the Word of God, no rituals, no outdated traditions. I found leadership, teaching, fellowship and guidance and never looked back. It's been a tough two years of character-building, God had to teach me to trust him, and that was pretty hard. Today He is fully in controll of my life and I love it!
Other stuff about me:
I'm married, we have twin girls [now 4yrs], and a boy [1yr]. That pretty much consumes my whole life.

New Heart, New life,& Renewing mind ….

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and
Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Make a new heart in me, My God! Create it out of Your Pureness! (2 Cor. 5:17) Make my heart brand new so that it is totally pure and without anything bad. Dear God, make a new and faithful spirit inside of me. Give me Your Holy Spirit that I may be faithful to you in all things!! (John 3:1-21) Have my heart stick to you no matter what comes my way!!

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

    Rejoice and give thanks
In all things give thanks unto the Lord your God.
Enter into His Courts with thanksgiving and praise Him for all His mighty acts.
There is nothing too big for Him to answer nor anything too insignificant for Him to care.
He makes provision for the most insignificant of His creatures, the butterflies and birds of the air.
How much more will He make provision for the dearly beloved people for whom His Son, Jesus died on the cross at calvary?
Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and believe on the Lord, your God.
He is willing to heal the sick, to uplift the downtrodden, to make straight the crooked ways, to revive the souls of the backsliders, and to bring peace in the midst of the storms of strife.
    Rejoice and give thanks.
