BLESS YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL LOVED ONES... BLESSINGS FOR 2009.

    FOND LOVE IN JESUS

Why do I have to forgive?

Dearest Ron this is a continuation of the discussion we had about how many times we ought to forgive...

And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. Mark 11:25

Jesus doesn't categorize sins by which ones to forgive instantly and which ones we can hold over the offender's head until we decide it's time to forgive.

We live in a fool's paradise when we think forgiveness is based on our feelings, or on our authority. Have you read Rick Warren's book THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE. Some of the myths we live by are explained by Rick Warren in his book .

"I'll forgive when he proves he should be forgiven." Biblical forgiveness doesn't carry any conditions. It can't be earned; it isn't deserved; it can't be part of a bargain as in, "Do this and I'll forgive you." God gives you forgiveness freely because Jesus paid the bloody price of your sin debt on the cross.
"If I forgive, she'll get away with what she did." Forgiveness doesn't mean you condone or agree with what has happened. When you forgive, you're not letting her get away with what she did; she'll still face the consequences of her behavior. You may choose to remove some, or all, of the consequences, but that is a choice independent of forgiveness.
"If I forgive him, he'll keep hurting me." Forgiveness doesn't mean your relationship remains the same. You may need time to trust again, to see if his repentance is genuine, and if he's faithful toward rebuilding your trust in him. And if his offense is abusive or places you in danger, you can forgive him, but maintain your distance.

I quote below something that I read, and "saved" in my files, a while ago...

" Forgiving those who hurt us doesn't we mean excuse their behavior. My sister says it bluntly: "Forgiveness isn't the same as stupid!""

"If I forgive her, she'll be free to do it again." Frankly, she's free to do it again anyway, whether or not you forgive her. On the other hand, you're free to forgive her, even if she doesn't seek forgiveness or show any sign of remorse.

Forgiving someone doesn't mean you act like a doormat, allowing evil to run rampant in an abusive relationship. Forgiveness doesn't mean you must keep taking the abuse, and it doesn't mean you have to stay in the abusive situation.

Dear Sister Paige; How are you? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It has been a long time since we spoke last. How are your kids? Hope you are not buried in snow out there. We have had our share of the "white fluff". We may be getting some more again soon. The ice storm a couple of weeks ago was bad. How is the art work going? You are so very talented. I'll talk to you again soon. May God's Love shine on you and your wonderful family. Peace , Love and Joy of Christ be with you.

Hi There....wow do I feel special....what was that....Like 10 messages in my email??? LOL

I'm not mad at all....don't even give it another thought. I'm not frustrated either. I was concerned that the painting got lost..that's all! I'm am relieved to know that you still have it.

Joshua loves his dinosaurs still.. Today he told me that he will always love his dinosaurs... :)

Logan asked me about the painting....so he is definately still interested in receiving it.

How much more of a cost to send it will it be? Mis-understandings happen all the time, don't worry about it (That's not what God wants for you)....please let me know and perhaps we can split the cost!

Thank you for sharing all the photos with me.....the kids are beautiful.

How are things with hubby? Life's a roller coaster over here....BUT GOD is large and in charge! So I am not fretting.....Our God is bigger than anything we face! Remember to thank Him for all He has done and is doing!

God never stops working....He just wants to have us all with Him! Isn't that amazing????

Be Blessed....Rest in The Love of Jesus....

I am a 52 year old Apache boy from San Carlos, Arizona. My wife (German from Michigan) of 10 years divorce last year in August. I have crush and heartbroken. Praise for brothers and sisters that have encouraged me and kept me in their prayers. I am very blessed to carry Lord's cross and preach gospels in many town, city, states, and reservation. So I understand about exercise(basketball was my life in school and college). Just wondering what your artwork would look like concerning an Apache warrior for Christ. Lord willing look up www.nezperce.org/~erwn/paper03/8Aug03.pdf. There should be more on internet concerning Eric Johnson Jr., Apache from San Carlos, Arizona. Hello my sis
O life is indeed a journey. My previous boss joined a new company and asked me to join him again. At first i couldnt see myself moving again, but after praying and receive word from a friend and Joshua 1, I decided that this is what i must do. It is a tough decision for it mean I must move to our capital city in the province and my son had to go to another school, he is now is grade 10 and it will be hard on him as he is an introvert... but i am doing the move only I know that there will be more opportunities for all of them. My daughter who left school last year, pass her matric with 3 subjects above 80% she was so thrilled and want to study next year computing design.... and the eldest is not sure in what she want to do..but now mommy is taking a huge step by moving to a huge city... bu i can only trust God for everything. Please keep me in your prayer for moving costs a lot of money and i really havent got that!! But i know that when it is in God s will it everything work out fine.
I love you photos that you send aint those little ones just adorable!???Thanks so much!!
So for a few days i will be offline due to the moving for we have to be in Pretoria by friday for school starts next week for my son. I will be missing you a lot and will ask Bev to stand in for me while I am working hard to settle in!
Love you and will miss you a lots and lots!!!!!!
    With much love your sister!!

Paige; Thank you my dear sweet sister! I didn't have the strength to go to work today and was home all day trying to find some peace in the midst of this pain. About noon time a peace came over me and a contentment I haven't felt in many years. I know God is making me into the woman He needs me to be. We go to court on Thursday at 10am and I am ok with whatever the outcome is. Praise God for the peace that passeth all understand... He is my rock and my strength. I am walking through the fire, but not getting burned up. I am deep waters but he keeps me from drowningj~~~!! Keep praying I will keep you posted,.
    love you too,

Thank you for those scriptures....I think they are for me.. My heart is constantly crying out "I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever, and I know the Lord is protecting me...." Thank you.

To Live is Christ..to die is gain. Phillipians 1:21, 23 : The Lord put this on my heart as I was talking to my older son tonight for bed.....

Logan wanted to pray to accept Jesus 'again' as his personal Saviour ..just in case. I did my best to reassure him of God's Love for him. It is such a beautiful thing to watch your own child have such a strong hunger and desire to know Christ and Love Him..and desire to live for and Please Him..

    Thanks for those scriptures...very timely!

    God Bless, Carla

    DEAREST PAIGE
THANK YO FOR DROPPING BY... I LIVE IN A LITTLE VILLAGE CALLED HEIDELBERG AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDED BY MOUNTAINS... BUT COMPARED TO AMERICA IT IS RATHER "PECULIAR"... HUBBY HAD TO TRAVEL APPROX 80 MILES TO BUY SHADE NET AND IS GOING TO HAVE TO TRAVEL APPROX 150 MILES TO GET FASTENERS FOR THE SHADING (FOR HIS BIRDS)... WE DO HAVE SOME SHOPS HERE BUT NOT ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH THE POPULATION. BUT SOME PARTS OF SOUTH AFRICA ARE INDEED BEAUTIFUL! WE USED TO HAVE AN EXTRAORDINARY CRIME RATE BUT WE ARE PRAYING A LOT NOW AND THIS SEEMS TO HELP... OUR PASTOR HAS A SPECIAL PRAYER GROUP FOR HEALING AND FOR SECURITY... CRIME USED TO BE RIFE BUT WE PRAISE GOD THAT THESE DAYS IT IS SO MUCH BETTER. WE HAVE AN EXTREMELY HOT SUMMER AND NEED RAIN BUT THERE WE ALSO TRUST OUR LORD AND HE WILL SUPPLY OUR NEEDS.

STAY BLESSED AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POPPING IN. LOVE TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND TAKE CARE...

    Hi, Paige!
Yes, it is me! I am sorry it has been a very long time. It has been so hetic, but doing better for the most part. I have had a bout with severe depression, but I am doing better.
I am getting ready to go tback to college. I start back on Monday, January 12. I am excited, but nervous. Well, the reason why is because I had to quit school in September and had emergency surgery. But I am ok, now.
You remeber I told you I have Cerebral Palsy and a cronic kidney disease? But everything went as planned and I healed up just fine.
How was your Christmas and New Years? I hope they were fine. Mine was fine, too. They both went kind of fast and I am sure glad of that. I am now ready to start back to school again.
How are your babies doing? I bet they are growing fast.
Well, I will go for now. Take Care, my friend and God Bless You, all.
    Love and Blessings,
    Carla Starks

Cast your care on the Lord and He will sustain you Psalm 55:22, Wow, it came in the right time, sister Paige I love you so much in the Lord and thank God for you in my prayers. May the Lord sustain you and give you the wisdom and the knowledge of Him that He so desires for you. May He wraps His arms around you and shield you with His loving kindness that you so desrve. I listen and watch Creflo Dollar a lot on TBN, in fact that is the first thing that I do. At first I could not stand him but now I hang on every word that he speaks, I am all ears and eyes when he is preaching, sometimes I am on my knees with my face to the ground when he is on tv. He speaks about the power of speaking God"s word , nothing less or more. I love Joyce Meyer and Billy Graham is on the top list. God bless you and bless this network AAG and God bless all ministers of the gospel.

    Dearest Paige
I value that you have contacted me... thank you so much!

You will notice that I posted two comments a while ago regarding your question. May I, however, say that because I have seen the results of Mari (my daughter) and her children Ruben and Jessica - I would opt for home schooling.

The only possible handicap was the social side of things but you have exposed your children to other kids. Mari also exposes her two kids to a "social" life.

But instead of repeating all that I said, go back to the comments I so boldly made... If I had kids right now and I was young, my decision would be HOME SCHOOLING...

You are a devoted and dedicated mother and I know that you would make a great success of it (like Mari). Some mothers are not successful because they are not dedicated and disciplined.

In any event, a mother who gives her children enough LOVE is the type of mother that Jesus wants us to be.

I feel honoured that you ask my opinion... and I am truly honoured by your getting in touch with me.

I have not hear from Carol for a few days... I think she has had a rough time (losing a loved one - no matter how old)...

Be ever so blessed and I do think you have the most beautiful children... and a gorgeous mother

    Hello friend
I have been thinking about what you asked me Homeschooling versus other... You say you were not a good learner? Did I understand you correctly? Mari is a qualified teacher but she says that she has thrown all her "teacher" methods overboard and she maintains that any mother can homeschool - you do not have to be qualified. However, if you have really good Christian Private schools around it is also an option.

If you would like more information, I will give you Mari's e-mail address - she is a pastor's wife and she is a dear... I know she used some American programme for her kids but Ruben is now 14 and he is doing one or other College (correspondence) course. They are perfectly well balanced and I can truly say that I notice a vast difference in their approach when compared to the "normal" kids. Ruben still kisses his sister hello in front of his friends and "normal" school kids of that age do not do that - your sis must stay far away from you. Not Ruben - he even plays kid's games with Jessica. When Jessica visits she usually uses my staple and paper in my office to make play money for them. I found a website where I could print play money for them and this was a big "high" for them - they were chuffed.

Please do not hesistate to ask me for Mari's e-mail address if you want advice "from the horse's mouth" :)

    Fond love my angel

Hi paige my names is yolanda Iam from brooklyn ny And I would like to be your friend you are a beautiful person inside and out God bless you!!
  • Ramona P. Jacobsz

    My dearest Paige
Thank you so much for your acceptance... I appreciate the love you send me and I treasure the confidence placed in me. I am also a sensitive person and had a lot of insecurities as a child. I was the "middle child" (smile) and my older brother was the good looking child and I heard Mom saying that he was such a beautiful and easy child.. "Give me boys any day - they are so much easier"... and this made me think that my mother did not love me so much??? I was however a bright bulb and my brother had to struggle because no one knew about dislexia in those days. I seem to think that you have been labelled ADHD... It is a popular "escape" for teachers to label a child as being ADHD... They do not want to do more than is necessary to help a child. Some teachers, however, are born teachers and they never label kids.

You seem to be an extremely bright young lady (good looking - good figure - and a love for Jesus)... What more could one want?

As for your son, he may just be more introverted than your little girl. Both need stimulation even if they are not yet being schooled. There are various ways to encourage them and stimulate them.

And I think you should take that label and tear it into shreds and believe that you were normal but sensitive. I am sad at times that I am so sensitive but on the other hand it makes me more sympathetic and loving towards others as I NEVER want to be the reason for hurting another.

Make a decision - test your feeling and pray that Jesus will guide you to either home school or a good Christian Private School???

But start stimulating the little angels as soon as possible - unless of course you are already doing so.

Know that you are loved and feel free to contact me if you have any problems (big or small) - there is nothing that we cannot resolve with Christ's help.

hey girl of course you can jump on!!its a corporate fast with many ppl invovled even non members of the church, we are fasting for 21 days to gain breah thru from God and i can tell you its already been amazing and i am only on day 6, and already its just wow, you can give up a meal, sun up to sundown or 12 hours orthe daniel fast which is veggies and water, the point is to replace that activity with prayer and put your strength in the Lord, somethin that was just revealed to me is that the reason why fastin is so successful is that as our flesh grows weaker, we become more spiritually sensitive, isnt that amazing, Praise God becomes some miracles are about to happen, let me kno how everything goes!!:) and i would love to help out with a fastin support group its so important to us growin our relationship with God, this is my first time fasting food but i can def tell it wont be the last, love ya sis will talk to you soon

    Hi Paige,
We had a nice Christmas & New Year's. I knew after coming here all the way from Ca., we'd be broke, so I prayed in Christmas presents for the kids. They got so much stuff, it filled a quater of the small living room! So, yeah, they had fun. We baked & we were all together. My daughter Wendy was so relieved for us to come, she's been stuggling a lot. It sounds like you have a little 'cabin fever'. Are you able to get out & walk or go to the gym? Being a young mom is hard, no doubt about that! May the Lord bless you with His peace & cause His face to shine upon you. (Keep drawing near!) Love, Deborah
