I glory in selflessness for He was selfless...He lived for others and though the owner and originator of all, He chose to live a poor man's life. In the same footsteps, I attach very little importance to material things (which are at best only momentary) and have taught my family to aspire for the secret joy derived from giving. We therefore own so little except the very basic!
- My story with God
- He is the starter and finisher of my faith through His glorious and wonderful Son Jesus Christ. After spending considerable time chasing the vanities of this world, I have come to accept the fact that there is no thrill like knowing and living for Christ. I was once a Catholic of Catholics...and if there is any one thing I know know for sure, it is that CATHOLISM (AND "RELIGIOSITY AS A WHOLE)" IS THE ONE MOST DANGEROUS weapons satan is using to divide the sheep and lead masses to their eternal damnation. I let anyone who would care to listen know this...those people don't worship Jehovah God the way He has decreed to be worshipped! Let all who have ears listen to what the spirit of the Lord is saying!

- I am what one may comfortably label "everyone's servant" and a man for all seasons. I go out of my way to comfort all...more so ladies, who life has treated cruelly, more often than not....in the hands of unconverted men. I cry daily when I see the attrocities meted out on innocent children...even by those closest to them. I am mad about children...I just love kids and spend most of my time with them. I strive daily to be a pillar in prayer...and although I fail repeatedly, I know that Christ looks down on me from His high seat and count all my pitiable struggles for righteousness. I cherish prayers for therein lies my (and yours too) only victory over life's challenges! I adorn daily God's Spiritual armour before I step out as outlined in Ephesians 6:11. It is His WAR...we can only win it through HIS ARMOUR...not our pitiable efforts. He won it already for us, hallelujah!!! Worshiping the Lord in truth and spirit is fun...and truly enjoyable!!! I invite all to give Christ their all. You will never regret the effort.

I am happy to hear from you that Christ's grace has proved to be sufficient to enable you to stand and fight His wars. Because actually not you who fought but it is His fightings. Just like you I read Bible more after I could not continue my study, and Bible is really the Word of God that strengthen, comfort and steady me in my troubled heart and mind. Praise the Lord that He gives us the Bible for our compass in this life.
Thank you for teaching me about the John 3: 30 that our joy can only be completed when we allow Christ to increase in us and our natural selves to diminish. I have been rejected many times in my life but His Will will always be done. I am learning how to give up all my burdens and joy to Jesus. Because Jesus is so Mighty and so Dependable. Amen. Yes brother we win by losing in the eyes of men. And I believe that Jesus is always with us all the way until Maranatha!!! All here in my house is still the same and Angela is very busy right now with her son. I will remember always that we defeat satan more through the spoken WORD! Speak and see miracles happen!!!! We both just take what little Jesus gives us brother. You are precious too in Jesus' sight. Just know that you all there are always in my heart and prayers. I don't know what to say to that! My computer is fixed now, so I'm back on here at least twice a day again. I see that where there used to be only 2-4 people on here at a time, now there are 6-8 many times. There are many, many new people, as well as new people ministering. I believe you may be right about the leadership on AllAboutGod needing prayer & facing trials & distractions, but please don't get discouraged! I will pray with you. We all have busy lives & stuff going on, church meetings, ect. I will pray for Bob. God bless you my brother! You are very, very special & a blessing to many.

Father God we come before you and thank you for the wonderful salvation that is ours through Jesus Christ. Help us to us hold fast our confession and draw near with confidence to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need and may we realize the full assurance of hope we have until the end.

Working very hard and sometimes long hours at the one place and still have other job to do evenings for extra income and my ministries is lacking due to this. But I already saw the enemy stealing my time and he wants me not to do what I want to for he want to steal my blessings but he is defeated in JEsus name and FAther will restore and give me myhearts desires!!!

Ah so good to see you back!!!!!Welcome back!! In my heart I set the table for the feast for the son that returned home again!!! Good to have you back!!! The enemy is a liar and a thief and he wants to steal, kill and destroy!!!!Thanks to Jesus for handling the enemy when he kept you in his backyard and you are free again!!
We had also communion again today and just to experience the love of Father for giving up His Son so we can have life and have it abundantly and by sharing in communion accepts His healing, forgiveness and have life in Him!!!
Looking forward to your contribution again to everyone here, for sometimes through our choices we get into the desert but God is taking us through it when we ask Him and trust Him, and we just experience His goodness and our desert experience becomes a testimony!!
I have only on sundays a bit time to be on the Net. this long hours of work are keeping me away form my special time with all of you but it is in my prayer that God will soon release me and I will be having more time to spent here, for this is a ministry to me!!!

His kindness and goodness provided a way for us to be saved. Jesus while He walked upon this Earth showed the world the kindness and goodness of God. His kindness and love to us frees us from the power of sin and death. May we remember to praise him for his goodness alway.

I applied for my own internet contract and they delivered it right on my doorstep so I have now internet!!!! I know Father will provide the means every month to pay it for He knows my heart desire!!!
You know son the enemy doesnt want us to serve Christ and he will do anything possible not to show Fathers love to others!! But he is defeated and God is in control!!!
I am just so blessed to be back so all the glory to our GOd for He is the Alpha and Omega the First the Last our everything!!

I hope all is well with you, you are always in my heart and my prayers. I pray all is well with you, your family, and your church. My prayer is that you sence His pleasure in your heart for being obedient in serving Him in a very difficult place. Great is your reward in Heaven!
Things in the world are changing fast and many are finding out that the tresures they had stored up from the stock market and retirement programs are quickly dissapearing.
My eye doctor was just about having an emotional break down when I saw him the other day because he had lost so much money. I was able to share with him that the Bible says that it will get much worse. It is just God's mercy isn't it to allow something like this to happen, that men might turn to Him and be saved. God is also helping us as believers to get rid of the polluntants in the Church that we have added to Christ such as pollitics, traditions, falsehood, and money.
Keep us in prayer as we are having ellevtions in a couple of weeks. Much prayer and fasting is going on here that we will have a Godly leader.

Here in this part of the world we speak refer to Pastors; Pastor Jim, or pastor Tom by their first name. I would never call a friend by their last name. So I hope that I have not offended you.Remember Maurene and Anita who are heading down to Mexico to help out in an orphanage. We are praying that the Devil will not be able to steal the building that is housing like 90 children. They spent all kinds of money fixing the building and had a 10 year lease. There is much coruption in the legal system, and it is going to take a miracle for them to stay.

Now I think that is cool that you combined your first and last name . We would say here it is your nick name. My real name is Robert, but my nickname has always been Bob. I pick on a friend at Church from Guatemala and his name is Roberto, I ask if I could call him Bob, but he tells me they did not use nick names where he came from. It doesn't fit him anyway.So I will continue to call you Brateng because it is so you after all this time.
I am amazed that Maurene got Glen to give you updates, he is not the type to use computers much. He is a comedian and has given us a show at a couple of events. He is from Mississippi and has a real southern accent and is so funny. I have been praying that God will turn it around so that they will not loose the building at the orphanage. We all got together and prayed over Maurene Sunday after church.
She is a special women and her boys are so cute.
I might not talk to you as much lately, but know that even if this is a time where you have had to give priority to other more pressing things that I love you as many others do here. You and your family and your ministry are important to me. Every time I have received a note from you, I am blessed. You are right that you need to make sure you are not allowing Satan to steal something from you that is one of the ways God uses to strengthen you in your walk with the Lord. I know that this site blesses me more than I could ever bless other.
Brother I pray for you today. I pray that Father God will bless you in a very special way today. I pray that He might reveal Himself to you more and more each day and that you would have those special God encounters throughout your day. I pray that He will bring so much encouragement to you that there will be no room for discouragement. I pray for a blessing to come upon your family and your church. Hi brother, I talked to Glen Sunday and he is a little worn out from handling the boys on his own and will be glad when Maurene gets home.Their trip is going good, Anita had a cold, but is better now. they should be returning I think today. We have been having an election all day today. We have a new president who is the first African American to become president in history. Thank God that the evil power of racism is colapsing. It would have been impossible just 30-40 years ago. President Oboma's Dad is from Kenya.
He was raised by his grand parents and his mom was American, I do not agree with all his politics but I will pray for him, for the heart of the king is in the hands of the Lord. Brother have a blessed day.

Dear Brateng, you always write wonderful notes, I am just as blessed knowing you. i had a trying day, My sister Joyce and my brother Bo were hospitalised today at the same time. They are both very sick, but my sister is in critical condition in intencive care, I was there most of the day. They both recieved the lord in the last year. My sister was very afraid, i just sat with her and prayed the peace of God upon her and ask that he would heal her and my brother. My sister is 51 an my brother is 50. then me at almost 49, My brother Ray is 48, and my brother Ricky is 47.My mom could not see her feet fot the first six years of her marraige. lol

Ah it is so bad to hear all the things you are going through, know that my heart and prayer will be always be with you! and know that when mom said she knows about making ends meet i know what i am saying, but i can encourage you that Father never to keep His word live and true and He said in HIs word that the plans He has for us is to prosper and not be in lack of anything!The enemy comes to steal kill and destroy he is a liar and a thief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The whole world is turned upside down for everywhere people are struggling to survive but it is now that God teach us about faith!!!
I also took as step of faith. i moved to another home, more expensive than the previous placebut it is next to the work and school and across a small shop as well. i asked Father about it and was worried if i did the rigth thing but He said in Gen 21; 22 that He will be with me in everything I do and who am I to no.
Son we have to grow stronger in our faith seek God more than ever before, time is very short and the coming of the Messiah is very near no more time for wait!
Sonny I am very tired as i said i moved to a new plac an didnt have had the chance to unpack but i took the day of tomorrow to do a few things, get he house in order, as you wont believe it but we are going to fetch Legerna on saturday.It will be their graduation day and her year is then finished she will only attend one weekend camp. I cant believe it is gone already, a whole year!!
It is now 12;05 in the evening actually moring so i better be off for i have to wake up at 5h00. Anie is writing her final matric exams, ya shes is als nearly finished!!Then i will only be having Danny as a schoolgoing one in the home!
