It is so true that as an athlete we can understand that to be a winner there must be some disiplines in our lives. Paul even used a the illistration of a race.     When I was younger I use to follow sports a lot more than I do now in my life. I can imagine that it has got to be tough to be in the spot light and under the gun all the time that it has got to be tough when it is all over and you have to re-invent your life. I have been going through a real transition in my own life for the last couple of years. I came down with a neuromuscular desease that caused me to have to leave a job I loved as a truck driver for 20 years for a propane co. It was the Lord who told me to be a truck driver in the first place. You wouldn't be able to imagine how many people I ministered to over the 20 years. Now I have had to re-invent my life again at 48. I have to say I have such peace and joy in my life that only could come from the Lord. The Lord led me here about 8or9 months ago and I have been so blessed. Leon I share this with you because the Lord is going to help you also. who knows maybe He will use you to help other guys in your situation.
