    Kerwyn,

Thank you for writing to me...How far is your home from Unganda? I sponsor a boy from there with Compassion International. I have not heard of hillsong collection and do not really know how far USA is from Australia. My wife and I want to visit Australia someday though. I am not currently involved in any youth group, but I am involved in our church. It is called The Church at the Crossing.

    Dear Kerwyn:

Thank you for your warm welcome.

A couple of weeks ago - a group of orphans came from Africa to our Christian School to sing. I work in the kitchen and we were able to serve them. They sang a thank you blessing to us. I was greatly moved. As they hugged us and we hugged them, my mother's heart went out to them. I cannot imagine what it is like not to have two parents, a mom to love and nurture you and a dad to guide and direct you.

I am currently in a valley, as my mom has cancer. It is heart to see this spiritual giant suffer so much. She and my dad are retired medical but have been able to travel on mission trips to other countries, including Africa, and minister to the people. My desire is to do the same one day.

God has indeed sent his son, Jesus, who died for us to set us free. I watched God do great healing in a friend of mine's life early in January at a conference through the forgiveness process.

I have seen God do the same in my own life. He is a mighty powerful God. All glory to Him.

    In Jesus,

    Cindy

    Dear Kerwyn
Yes, of course we can be friends. My son and I have a heart for the people of Africa. I know the sufferings, at least in part, that they are experiencing and have experienced. It breaks my heart. I, before marriage and 9 children, had wanted to do missionary work in Africa; now my oldest son is considering it. If there is any specific way that I can pray please let me know. God bless you, it's for HIM I live, Anna

of course you can be my friend!!!
thanks it helps to hear that once in awhile.
Well i came to know the lord when i was in about 3-4th grade. i went to a christian camp and it was my first year there. i have gone to that camp ever since. totally amazing place in fact its my favorite place in the world..but anyway it wasnt until 2 years ago that i had really decided to surrender my life to God because i wasnt living a very christian life. so i had a major breakdown and rededicated my life to the Lord..And i've been tryin to live my life for Him ever since. not the easiest thing ever but He's helpin me through..and you know im really glad i did because these past couple of years would have so much so much harder without Him.....How about you? how did u come to know the Lord?

hello Kerwyn! Thank you for your reply. I will remember you and your cousin Euron in my prayers specially your desire for him to accept Christ as his Lord and Savior. You have planted the seed in his heart. Everything is now up to the Lord and in His time, he shall call upon Euron. As believers, all we have to do is pray and praise our God for His mercy. Take care my brother and God bless you....
  • Ramon

Hello Kerwyn! Thank you for your prayers. Indeed it is very timely as my country goes thru some difficulty in its food supply. I believe God continues to be in control and with prayers, this will be overcome. Also, I am happy to hear about your cousin..The Lord works in strange ways and in His time. I pray that it is the begining of the Lord working on your cousin to free him from the bondage of smoking. I hope to hear from you again....God bless you, brother!

    Kerwyn
Wow what a blessing to be in the Youth ministry I always feel I am working with Gods own heart if i am dealing with them, for they are so special to Him that he used them as an example! May Godd bless you in your ministry.
Ya a fasting period is an awesome experience, i did that once for a week and i felt wonderful after that , for i experience my Father!! WHen you fast and pray you seek God face and HE is so true to His word that HE make Himself know to those who seek Him honestly and diligently. I am part of a fasting group we fast each day week one day for our country and for God to pour out His spirit.
Do not be discouraged, for being fired because you serve God my friend, God will honor your love for Him. I pray now in JEsus NAme that our Father will open the doors for you so that the plans HE has for you comes in fulfillment!
    Keep you in my prayers!

hello Kerwyn! my apologies for not having replied sooner. But I believe its better late than never. I have been so busy with alot of activities here and I thank God that He continues to keep in such a situation. All is well with me and my family.

You have been so kind and just wonderful to remember us in your prayers and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you.

You may view on my page that I have been sadly disappointer by a friend who is carrying on with a married woman. The response to may post has shed so much enlightenment to me and somehow relieves my of some burden. I lift all of this up to the Lord.

I sincerely hope all is well with you and your family inspite of the worldwide crisis that the rising prices in oil has caused. This just further confirms that we live in an imperfect world and we have to deal with all its imperfections.

May the Lord continue to guide us thru this trying times with His contunuing mercy. God bless you, my friend and may He grant you and your family His protection.
