Plans to retire and serve the Lord in a few years
About loving my beloved wife Pearl from the Philippines and caring for her as the Lord has taught us to love our wives as JESUS loves, sacrificed and provides for us everyday.
My story with God
Raised Roman Catholic but though seeds were planted I did not know the LORD as yet. I needed the Word of God to clarify my faith. I came to know the Lord at age 21 after years of seeking.
I came to know Christ after the Viet Nam War
over a cup of coffee with a Nazerene Pastor in 1970
I bowed my head and repented changing my mind about the direction my life had taken and asked Christ into my heart and understood that He died for ALL of my sins on Calvary's bloody cross once and for all. In time I understood that the most important part of salvation was the very Righteousness of Yeshua was now given to me as a gift and a shield against the devil's accusations. For JESUS, He is the Messiah of Israel and the Arm of the LORD spoke about in Isaiah 52 and 53 to be revealed to all nations. I have a deep burden to reach the children of Israel and Catholics who also have a zeal for God but without Biblical freedom due to a lack of knowledge that comes from the Word of God. Romans chapter 9, 10 and 11 explained for me the role of the nation of Israel and our salvation. God in His mercy grafted me into the True roots of Israel's Olive tree. I pray for the day when Israel as an entire Nation return to Her G-D and KING, the true Olive Tree of Almighty God. Through the precious Jewish people came the patriarchs, the covenants, the Bible and most of all our beloved Savior Jesus the Christ (Yeshua Ha Mashiahch) They have suffered so much it is time for them to be blessed and restored as a nation and to recognize the Messiah the Passover Lamb of God. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem because when that nation is saved the whole world will be cleansed at the time of our Lord's second coming. Even so come quickly, Lord Jesus [Yeshua-Adonai]
Graduated from Cornerstone University (GRSBM) '73
Served the Lord in Jewish Missions for 5 years in Miami and Tehran Iran til 1979. I have just completed a book that I am about to publish as the Lord leads containing my testimony and the future restoration of Israel when the Lord's Kingdom comes to Earth in all of its GLORY.
I am seeking a Body of believers to fellowship with here in my city. Say a prayer for me. Thank you. God Bless All of you.
Other stuff about me:
I was an insurance agent in Jacksonville FL but I had to retire early due to some injuries and disabilites incure while being in the military years ago.
My wife and I have two daughters that have grown but we see our four grandchildren on a regular basis. Someday we may live in the Philippines for a few months every year.

What is Mission for the Rural People?

Mission for the Rural People is a team of committed men and women of God dedicated to helping children and the elderly in the Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh; SOUTH INDIA and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We welcome every Christian in our ecumenical mission. Mission for the Rural People is a registered organization.

Eight years ago we set up an orphanage in Vellatur, which is seven hours from Hyderabad by train. At the orphanage we help children abandoned by their parents. An ultimate goal for Good Samaritan Orphanage is to gather 100 helpless and unwanted children. The orphans come from slums, leper colonies, poor families and tribal villages. They come from the streets, rejected by their families and society and left to beg for the very necessities of their lives. In India about 40% of the population suffers because of starvation. They come to us for shelter, clothing, food, education, and the Gospel message. Our main goal is to help and educate poor and needy children. We are helping 58 children now, but this is just a small percentage of those who need help. We do not have any special financial support to run Good Samaritan Orphanage. Everything is funded by the generosity of people like you. We have managed to find sponsors for 26 children, but 32 of them still do not have any regular financial support. We welcome you to become a part of this ministry by supporting one of our orphans. We are living in a

rural area in very simple conditions, however our children are very skilled and together we create a big and happy family. We would like to ask you to help us by sponsoring a child. We call it adoption of heart.

    JUGGLING
    YOUR
    LIFE

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air.
You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit, and you're keeping all of these in the air.

You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.
But the other four balls: family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass.

If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged or even shattered. They will never be the same.
You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

    How?
    • Don't undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we're different that each of us is special.

    • Don't set your goals too high by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

    • Don't take for granted things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would life, for without them, life is meaningless.
    • Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living life only one day at a time, you live ALL the days of your life.

    • Don't give up when you have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

    • Don't be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us and hold us together.

    • Don't be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn to be brave.

    • Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

    • Don't run through life so fast that you forget not only where you've been, but also where you are going.

    • Don't forget that a person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.

    • Don't be afraid to learn. Knowledge is weightless, a treasure you can always carry easily.

    • Don't use time or words carelessly. Neither can be retrieved.

    • Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
