My story with God: I've gave my life to the Lord over 30 years ago. There have been times when I tried to get back on the throne so it isn't always a smooth and straight ahead journey. My life changed fairly drastically (again) about 18 months ago:

In September of 2006 I awoke one morning at two o'clock. Partially asleep, I had the feeling that I had experienced a dream or else heard a small still voice tell me to write a book about evolution, a topic I knew almost nothing about. In the morning when I awoke fully, the experience was still vivid in my memory banks. I asked the Lord if he had indeed asked me to write a book about Evolution. That small still voice said - "And when you're done with that, I want you to go after Harry Potter and the sexual revolution." Sounded like a yes to me.
My personal dreams of becoming a writer had been abandoned years ago. Despite my fear of failure and my ignorance concerning the subject matter (I know you are supposed to write about what you know best), I decided to pursue the matter. If God had really spoken to me, I was not going to drag my feet and not even check it out. After researching one book dealing with evolution, I knew that I had been called to battle. Despite holding down a full time job, I threw myself into the effort and did more research as I begin to weave a foundation around a love story. Most of the first section of the book is typical of a young adult romance novel. Then I threw enough facts into the story to present most of the basic and pertinent information dealing with the flaws of Darwinism and the controversy surrounding it. I tried to balance the science lesson with a equal doses of humor, romance, and scripture.
Other stuff about me:: I have written seven novels so far and have formed my own company - Sword of the Spirit Publishing to produce them for public consumption. I try not to write fluffy little stories with entertainment value but rather edifying works that entertain, educate, and encourage.

I work just 1 day a week in a Christian book shop which is part of the church I go to. I love it as the shop doesn't only sell books but also sells many different bibles, cd's, videos and gifts.

Isn't it amazing how God works, if we only listen and not be afraid. I have to work on this myself. I have a lot of fear of the unknown, but you give me the confidence to do it. Hi, how's the writing going? I han't written in several days...been way too busy. My youngest daughter had her fifth birthday a few days ago and since then we've been sick with a stomach bug that my husband brought home from work. So far both he and I have been sick as well as 3 of our children (we have 9.) However, I am well along in the book that I am writing, having finished two chapters (rewritten) and having two ready to rewrite and working steadily on the other four chapter (at least before this busy week, LOL!) So, it's coming. I love creation/evolution (I am a firm creationist) so I would be interested in knowing just how it's going, what your covering and so forth. Sorry for not be in touch for last 3-4 days. Actually our head office team came for evaluation. i goes well. you know, my cheif offered me full financial support to go for Theology studies. He said Michael i always noticed that you are smart and have talent. you should not waste it. when he hears that i want to go for Theology, he feel very happy in addition he said, if Organization is will not support, i will support you from my pocket, either i have to go for a debt. I am glad that God gave me such a beautiful chance. But now, i am confusing in earthly things (leaving job, going for 4 years, all friends, money). Please pray for me. As he said also that when you will come back i will give a higher post.

No, I don't have a critique group, do you? I bet you are exhausted. I am sorry. It's hard, I can imagine. I have trouble just finding time to write so I end up doing it when I should be sleeping. We have nine children that I homeschool, plus there is the house, cooking, cleaning, shopping, problems that occur, and...well, you get the idea. Yes, He is. Praise God. we are a spiritual people. We have as a nation always seached for the metaphysical things. So I am not surprised. It is also true that we are a nation steeped in superstition. In fact, our problem is the reverse of that of the west. It questions everything outside the sensory reality. In India, it goes unsaid that there is a world beyond our ken. So we acceptt everything. Israel's tragedy was that she killed all her prohets. India's is that she worships ALL of them. Be that as it may, the Lord is here and working. I know many people who have to the Lord from all kiinds of backgrounds. And it is not so much christianity as it is the Christ for us. we love HIM.

Thanks for adding me as your friend, I'll love to read your book once id done !! For many people, me included, reading christian books and novels is an interesting method of learning in a fun way. Here in Belgium it is somehow complcated to find novels in french, so most of my readings (like Frank Peretti books, the Left Behind series, etc); I borrowed from american friends. if you know of other interesting novelist, please let me know the names to find a way the have them sent from America.
