WHEN I FIRST CAME TO THIS SIGHT I WAS LOST AND NEEDDE ANSWERS.I KNOW NOW THAT OUR GOD IS TO MERCIFUL TO SEND HIS CHILDREN TO A TERRIBLE PLACE LIKE HELL.
Other stuff about me:
IM A MOTHER A WIFE I HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL SONS AND WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND A GOOD THAT LOVES ME . I LIKE GARDENING SEWING SWIMMIMG MY FAVORITE PETS ARE DOGS ALL KINDS. I AM LEARNING TO LOVE GOD WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL ITS A STRUGGLE.
Those who are baptised receive the Holy Spirit. YOu can also receive the Holy Spirit by quietly praying and saying "Christ is Lord" and quietly letting the Holy Spirit descend apon you. Clear your mind and feel his peace. I do this every day and ask the Lord to stay with me all day. He is in my heart.
Diana,
There are a lot of different opinions about how to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I feel the Bible is very clear. In Ephesians 1, it says that all believers have the Holy Spirit. There is nothing you have to DO to get the Holy Spirit or to have more of Him.
To be filled with the Spirit implies freedom for God to occupy every part of our lives, guiding and controlling us. His power then can be exerted through us so that what we do is fruitful to God.
We should immediately deal with sin in our lives, and give God control of our lives.
"Getting" the Spirit doesn't have to do with saying a prayer or being baptised. It is a matter of relationship with Christ.
I hope this helps. Message me if you want more information.
Thank you for asking me to be your friend. I humbly accept. I am age 63...you? I do suffer from bipolarism so maybe you could help me if we ever met. I do know that all the e-friends I have on the net who love Jesus as I do I will meet in God's kingdom never to be parted. May the Sunshine of Him fall on you and your family in this now New Year
I had a brilliant comment to make and then I read what Melissa wrote and now have nothing to say. She is absolutely right about this subject. So I would encourage you to read Ephesians 1.
Diana, just wanting you know I am praying for you. Stay grounded by reading, memorizing and meditating on the Bible. We all here love you in Jesus name!
Sabbath is one of the God's ten commandments and the bible states plainly that people who trust in God must obey his commandment,if we are not to follow the sabbath commandment does it mean that we dont have to follow the other nine commandment?
Stay blessed
Hi Diana,
I just want you to know that God is Love and what
he wants from you is a personal relationship with him.
If you are sincere and asked him for forgivness of your sins and asked him to come into your heart, you do not have to worry about anything, He has left his Holy Spirit with you and no one can take him
from you! Just talk to Him about anything He will be
listening to you always. He will guide you in all things
if you ask. Always remember Him and that He loves you more than you can imagine.
God Bless You
to him and he
