I'm passionate about...
being a Christian. I am a nurse, that has worked in ICU for a long time. I hope that I have made a difference in the lives I have touched there. I want to help those who are facing death to understand the peace. Pray with them. Many of those want to go to the Father, but there family does not want to let them go. I try to help them see that by letting them go they will be in a wonderful, peacfull place without pain and dispair with the Lord.

Hi Mandy! My name is Diane and I have made some wonderful friendships through this site! I haven't been "here" very long...but I look forward to meeting many more! I am a Gospel singer and also feel the "call" on my life to write Christian books and articles. I hope to help others on this site, to encourage them in their relationship with the Lord and also with others. I'd love to hear from you!
    In Him,

    Hi there,
I too am a nurse. I have worked ICU, Hospice, Pediatrics,Nursing homes and home care. I have not practiced since October 2007. I am back in school for Healthcare Administration. i was raised a Catholic but never could find The Truth in it. In October just after I resigned from Nursing I was Baptised into the Seventh Day Adventist church family. Now, every day with the help of my church family and this site, I learn about The Truth..God's Word and ultimately His plan for me. When I saw your story, I just had to contact you...we seem to have so much alike. Your story puled at something in my heart. More later
    Your new friend,

    Hi Mandy,

Thank you for the comment and encouragement! God bless you! It is a wonderful idea to listen to worship tapes but I REALLY struggle to even do that and maybe it is because of my mutiply personality disorder.

Good morning...What a crazy weekend. I went to pick up my son yesterday from my ex husband's and his girlfriend went completley balistic. Her and my daughters began a screaming match and I ended up taking all three of them plus the grandbaby out of there before someone ended up in jail. I am so grateful to God that He sent me to be there for them. Anyways, I pray he matures real soon and that God shows him just how hia behavior affects his children. I know my God can move mountains and beyond all human logic I know He can change Mark's heart too. I know to those "of the world" it sounds crazy for me to say I want him back, but now that I live my life for God, I know that God's heart wants families to reconcile and reunify. Anyways, I am babbling. You have a great day and I will visit you again later.....

There was a time before Jesus came that our confessions were done throught man.

But now Heb 9:22 - says that. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

we are now able to go to him about our forgiveness.

    Mt 26:28 - say that.
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Man is only a point of contact, the Priest went before us took our confession and our sins to the Lord, now that the veil has been torn we are able to do it ourselve.

But remember no matter wheater you confess to God or to the Priest so he can become the intercessor for you, it mean nothing if it does not come from the heart and you mean it.

WELL FOR ONE I WAS LISTSENING TO JOEL OLSTEEN, HE IS THE ONE THAT REALLY GOT ME STARTED AND JOYCE MEYERS BELIEVE IT NOT. MY HUSBAND WENT TO A ONLINE MINISTRY SCHOOL AND IS VERY GOOD AT LEARNING SO HE HAS TAUGHT ME JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING I KNOW, OTHER THAN READING THE BIBLE. HE HAS PROVEN TO ME EVEN WITH THE CATHOLIC BIBLE HOW WHAT THE CATHOLICS TEACH IS WRONG. LIKE CALLING A PRIEST FATHER. IT SAIDS RIGHT IN THE BIBLE CALL NO MAN FATHER BUT ME MEANING JESUS OR ACTUALLY GOD.. WE ALSO BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY THREE IN ONE OPERSONS.ALSO THE CATHOLICS DON'T WANT YOU READING THE BIBLE BECAUSE THEY WANT IT INTERPRETED HOW THEY WANT IT PERCIEVED. HE HAS ALO SHOWED AND PROVED TO ME HOW THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS COME ABOUTM AND IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH GOD OR EVEN RELIGION.
YEARS AGO THE CATHOLICS WOULD KILL IF YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE THE CATHOLIC WAYS. WHICH I CERTAINLY DON'T GO FOR.. SO ITS LITTLE THINGS LIKE THAT THAT HAS SHOWN ME MY WAY TO THE TRUTH,

AND MANDY THATS OK TOO, AS IT SAIDS IN THE BIBLE WHEREEVER THERE ARE TWO OR MORE I AM THERE. SO HE IS THERE WITH YOU AT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TOO.YOUR HUSBAND WAS BROUGHT UP CATHOLIC SO WAS I. HE DOESN'T HAVE TO CHANGE TO BE SAVED. LIKE I SAID THERE IS NOT ONE TRUE CHURSH ON EARTH. BUT JESUS'S SAVED PEOPLE. AS LONG AS HE BELIEVES IN THE THREE PERSONS IN ONE, AND BELIEVE STHAT JESU DIED ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS AND ROSE AGAIN, AND WENT THROUGH ALL THAT TORMET FOR US. AND LIVES A CHRISTIAN LIFE THE MAN IS SAVED CATHOLIC OR OTHERWISE. THE WAY I LOOK AT IT. I CERTAINLY DON'T PUT CATHOLICS DOWN, LIKE TYPICAL BAPTIST DO. I MEAN DARN I WAS ONE. I JUST DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS TEACHING PEOPLE. BUT THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS WHATS IN A PERSON'S HEART IS WHAT COUNTS. THE ONE TRUE BIBLE TO READ IS SUPPOSS TO BE KJVERSION, I HAVE A STUFY BIBLE AT THE BOTTOM IT EXPLAINS EACH PARABLE OR VERSE, AND AGIN HOW TO APPLY IT TO YOUR LIFE. SOUNDS SOMETHING LIKE THE ONE YOU HAVE DOESN'T IT.
WELL MANDY, DON'T FEEL BAD DON'T FEEL GUILTY, YOU ARE DOING RIGHT IN FOLLOWING YOUR HEART WITH YOUR HUSBAND JUST DON'T EVER GIVE UP ON JESUS NOR LET YOUR HUSBAND AND THE TWO OF YOU WILL BE FINE.

Mandy, thanks for your question about MySpace. MySpace is definitely not a "safe" place. There is a lot of R and X-rated stuff there. I do not recommend it for kids and frankly I have doubts about letting a 12 year old do any kind of internet social networking because of internet predators. If they are supervised at all times, it may be OK, but I don't think you'll want to supervise them and they will not want you to either.

I have a MySpace account and a Facebook account, but I only use it to help feed people to this site and as a witnessing tool. I hardly spend any time on them.

AllAboutGOD.net is about as safe as they come, but even here some of the content is not appropriate for children. We do try to monitor things but can't do it 24 hours a day.

Most likely, this will not make your 12 year old too happy with you, but your role as a parent is to protect them at this stage and give them freedom and responsibilites as appropriate to their age. Once you allow them on, it is very hard to go back. On my computer at home, we have time limits set up and software that blocks sites we don't want our kids to visit. Internet social networking sites are some of those.

    I hope this helps.

THANK YOU FOR THE MESSAGE about depression. I DO take medications and have had to be on them since I was in grade school. I am not afraid to admit it since I have been very well educated as to what they do and why people use them . I by no means think that antidepressants "cure" depression or that it is a "happy" pill that people tend to laugh at and label it that way. I agree with you that it tis a medical condition,a chemical that is lacking in the brain. Alot of people especaially Christians say that if I really want to, or if I just had enough faith,or if I trusted God to heal me, or if I allow himto do what He can do to me, then I can be totally "free" and "cured" of depression. Well, I tried that while I tried to slowly ge off the medication and needless to say, oh man, what I experienced was AWFUL!! I was hospitalized and very sick, not to mention I made my family and everyone around me want to "run like hell" from me. They didnt know what to do for me and neither did anyone else because I was soo sick. So after my therapist got me back on them I felt better. I fully believe that medication is definately a must in some cases. I have been on the perfect "combo for years and I like it. I dont feel "high" or anything like some people think. I really APPRECIATE you and your educated advice on this. I wish others would accept this issue and embrace it as another means of helping people get on the right track. Thank you!!! Praise God that he has blessed you with your job because you are blessing believers and nonbelievers with your loving knowledge!!!! Praise God 4 u!!! My friend!!!Paige

Thannk you Mandy for your message it gives me much hope to know this is not all in me head and that there is a real underlying condition I just wish there were more people like you who knew that! I have 1 question for you if you dont mind? How much of a role do you think a womans hormones play in this? It seems that I have more problems around "that time" than any other. Panic attacks are at their worst. So do you think there is a connection? Thank you in advance and God bless You.

Hello Mandy, God bless you too! Sorry it did not let you chat?? I would have liked to have chatted with you too.
  • Carla

    Hi Mandy,

God loves you and knows your heart. Repentance is how we keep those love lines open. I know for myself, that when i act and react in the flesh, i feel the immediate consequence. I am reading a fantastic book right now. It is called "Having a Mary Spirit-Allowing God to change us from the Inside Out" by Joanna Weaver. In Chapter 4 the author talks about being led by the Spirit. This is some of what she says "How do we cooperate with the wooing and leading of the Holy Spirit? The following is by no means a comprehensive list, but here are some ways I've experienced the Spirits Leading.
    1. Tune Your Heart to His voice.
(my personal interpretation...Be still and meditate on God's word)
    2. Mind the Checks. This quaker phrase means that when we feel a strong doubt whether a particular course is right, we should simply wait and do nothing.
    3. Test the message. We must check any inner direction we receive against scripture. If it aligns with the advice of godly friends, providential circumstances and what is referred to 'sanctified common sense' (Catherine Marshall) can also be helpful.
    4. Watch for repitition. Through sermons, other people, miraculous provision. She goes on to say.."God is like your Mom. If you don't listen the first time, He repeats Himself!"
    5. Take the next step. Though God gives direction, I've found He almost never lays out a road map for the future. He intends this life to be a walk of faith. So, as we obey one step at a time, the next step will come into view. As we practice obedience, the voice of the Spirit becomes clearer, His instructions more definite.
    6. Beware the Spirits withdrawal. Our disobedience grieves and hinders the Holy Spirits work. If He is insistent that you obey in some area, do it - or you'll feel a lack of the Spirit's presence. As Oswald Chambers says, "God will never reveal more truth...until you obey what you know already."
    7. Ask for and expect wisdom. Do not rule out God's help with the small details of life. If we don't allow God to direct our everyday lives, we may not be able to follow Him when crises come. When you ask, believe the Spirit will lead you into all truth. Look for the answer in faith. God is eager to help us.

    Prayer...Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Mandy, i have just personally felt the Spirts withdrawal in my life because i also made a wrong choice. Through repentance and prayer with praise for what the Lord has already done for me, I am feeling 'filled' once again. Be encouraged, stand strong in the Lord. May the Lord Bless you richly. Your sister in Christ, Carla

    Hi Mandy,

I hope you are having a great day in the Lord Jesus? It was great to chat with you the other day and I hope we can get another chance to chat again.

    Hi girl!!!
God Bless you sweetie!!!! Yes, I did those pictures. I have been an artist all my life, but when I came to Christ is when it took off and I was able to start my own business. I draw about anything, in fact I just designed the Utah quarter and won! It seems that murals are a big thing so thats taking up alot of my time and its a blessing. I have done alot of work in alot of churches and homes. I even do windows or paint on furniture too.
I appreciate your compliments. I am blessed. I really enjoy what I do. I was on staff at Calvary chapel as a muralist and now that I have moved, I hope to continue doing that at another church, so keep me in prayer,
I will talk to you again soon I hope!!! Paige

Hi Mandy, I am blessed to have you as a friend. With the many times I have spent in the hospital, and part of that was in ICU after my last brain surgery. I have to say nurses are a wonderful blessing, especially those that know the LORD, and are able to share Him the way that you do. I have been partly responsible in talking another friend into going back to school to become a nurse. She is a wonderful person, and is very gifted in caring for others as well. Keep up the great work! I pray that God will continue to bless you, and your ministry. That your light will shine bright, and you will continue to find favor with all you come in contact with. In Jesus' Name. Amen
    Love and Blessings in Him,

I READ YOUR NOTE THAT YOU LEFT EVERY ONE AND IT BLESSES ME TO HEAR HOW GOD IS USING THIS NET. TO MINISTER ONE TO ONE ANOTHER. I KNOW HOW BUSY IT GETS WITH YOUNG CHILDREN, THE RAT RACE OF JOB,FAMILY. AND BEING A SOCCOR MOM CAN TAKE A TOLE ON YOU. RECENTLY GOD HAS CHALLEDGED ME WITH THE SCRIPTURE, THOSE WHO WAIT UPON THE LORD WILL RENEW THIER STRENGTH. THE WAITING IS TO KEEP COMING BEFORE THE LORD. AS YOU KEEP COMING BEFORE THE LORD, HE WILL RENEW YOUR STRENGTH SO YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO WITH THE JOY OF THE LORD WHICH IS YOUR STRENGTH. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THIS DAY.

I will be praying for you also. Love ya* In Christ Angie
  • Pastor Bob B

Mandy, in my forum I talked alot about how people deal with life after they leave. I remember that I was so fearful of being intrapped again. Your sister is trying to find her footing because the rug has been pulled out from underneath her world. She is wounded and afraid and must be cared for with Patience. I am really glad she has you in her life.Give her a chance to talk if she will and slowly present the truth to her. The Morman have told her horrible things about Christianity and she will need to re-evaluate her reasoning. The truth will set her free. Mormanism is filled with false doctrines so if she will talk to you, you will need help in unraveling the lies. I will leave you a vidio that will help you. If you could just have her read my forum it might help her. I would be happy to have her email too if she wants. I really care and want to help.Go to www.rationalrevelation.com/library/stagescultrecovery. and read Stages of Cult Recovery Applied to Mormonism. I will pray for you and your sister. Bob
  • Pastor Bob B

Here the vidio I told you i was leaving you. It will be a good thing if she could watch it. It really is one of the best things I have seen dealing with the mormon cult.
