Hey Pastor! I was reading messages to Moomin's and saw what you wrote - didn't realize you were here! How fun - Greg just about 10 days ago was telling Greg about the Bible you bound for him - they loved it! How ironic that you came on and mentioned the same Bible. God bless you and your continuing ministry!

Both the trinity and baptism have been great dividing doctrines for Christians and many have died trying to prove one another wrong. It is good to get to understand that this displeases God who calls us to salvation through the blood by Grace and Faith.
A google search and reading on all sides will show how far people will go to prove that which is not plain in the Bible or in early Church History. It is well to rejoice in what God has done for us and to listen to each other and not claim divine wisdom in these matters of Faith.

I was baptised by "Believer's Baptism", trained in a Baptist Seminary, served as a Baptist Deacon, trained in Wesleyan doctrine, and am a Methodist Clergy person. One of my greatest disappointments is how my Baptist and Methodist friends fail to understand or even listen to each other.

Hi Rev, And greetings from winter wonderland Wisconsin. Yes, I know what you mean about the different denominations of Christianity not understanding each other. Christ calls us to unity in Him, and not to argue on disputable matters, but to be in agreement on undisputable matters. We need to welcome everyone, as Jesus does, with different ideas, interpretations, etc. This is what seperates us from other faiths.

I found joy, real joy, wonderful joy since Jesus came into my heart.
    My sins He washed away.
My night He turned to day.
My life He made it over again.
The third Sunday of Advent we celebrate as the Sunday of Joy in Jesus.
May He bring you joy, real joy, wonderful joy as you invite Him into your heart.
