Greetings in the Lord! This is Greg, TheNET Coordinator. Welcome! We're glad you are here!
Just wondering, have you come to the place in your spiritual life where you have received Jesus as your Savior and Lord? I ask this of pretty much everybody.
I also want to invite you to join our Bible study, In the Beginning: a study in the book of Genesis to help you know God better and grow in Him! You can click here to join the study.
Once again, thanks for joining TheNET. I hope you make lots of good friends here and keep growing in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.
Thank you for the invitation as one of your friend.I hope you can pray for me as you saw the ministry i have in my profile.Thank you and God Bless. ruben_lantao@yahoo.com is my e-mail ad.
Sure, let's be friends. I see you are here to meet other God fearing people. Sometimes that wording makes people think we should be scared of God. But the real meaning of the "fear" of God means, that we should be in "awe" of God. We should stand in breathless awe of the Creator and sustainer of everything that has ever been, is, and will be.
Hi fibrochick,
I finally figured out what your online name is all about (never claimed to be too quick on the draw). Since you are a Med Tech I betcha the fibro in fibro-chick is short for defibrillator which paramedics use in their work sometimes.
Yes, I do like a bit of bluegrass music once in awhile. I like some of the old country songs too. Are you from south of the Mason-Dixon? Your profile does not describe you very much, which is fine since a lot of people like to keep as much privacy as possible. I just like to know what part of the country others are from. As you can see, I'm from Wisconsin, or as some of my southern friends pronounce Wes-CON-sen LOL. Last night the wind chill here was almost -30 below zero. Today we are supposed to get around 7 more inches of snow, but at least it's going to get up to about 10 above.
God is sooooo good. No matter how much I have tried to do things my way, as always God is the faithful one. True to His word. Always there to listen, and forgive. I am blessed, as I hope you are also.
Thank you for invite. Please could you tell me what state you live in....I am in Detroit, Michigan. I am age 63.......you? We both agree that we both love the Lord with all our hearts and spirits. Have a good day......
Trish,
My sister Sue has fibromyalgia. I seem to hear about that a lot. I wonder what causes it, and why it is so prevelent these days. Mostly I hear about women getting it.
I just got home from work, slipping and sliding the whole way in 5 inches of new snow.
I guess I am a little bit redneck. We have a matching set of salad bowls that say "cool whip". I use duct tape for lots of stuff.
I like all kinds of music. I like the music you have on your player. Skillet's cool, Third Day, Casting Crowns,
Jars of Clay, Micheal W. Smith, and lots of others.
Time for me to go to bed for awhile. Have to take the dog to the vet a 3:00.
Oh, fibrochick..........please turn off the capitalization on your keyboard for it comes across like you are SHOUTING!!!!! It does not look very friendly.......just to let you know. Otherwise, I wish you a blessed day in the Lord

I love it........I love it!!! Thanks for the picture of the cute kitty. Yes, I am entranced by all cats and kittens of all types but I love especially siamese cats and kittens.
Sorry that you can't find a compatible keyboard for your computer. They usually cost only 10 to 15 dollars. Did I ask what state you reside in? I reside in Detroit, Michigan. Please let me know in your next message to me......have a good day in the Lord.
How are things done in the workforce? Because you live there you might miss the beauty that so surrounds you. I see nothing beautiful in Detroit..just another industrial city. Are you near the ocean? I would give much to be near one of the Great Lakes...especially Lake Superior. Well, when I get to wanting to complain about what I do not have I remind myself that none of us children of God are home yet. Our true home is made by God and it will be perfect.....glory!!!
Hi Fibro, I read something you said about TV ministers and that, that was how you where saved after leaving the Roman Catholic Church. We go to the Catholic church. I was not brought up that way, but is the way of my husband. I try not to debate him on some of the ways of the catholic beliefs. However I do believ he will be saved. He believes in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the scriptures. I know everyone interepts the Bible differently. Although I don't belief in all their rituals, I still worship our Lord when I am there. Since you where Catholic can you tell me more about being saved after you left the catholic church? I don't know! Thanks for your friendship. God be with you always. Mandy
Hi firbro; yes I do agree that they don't teach the bible as the way I see it. I have "The Application Bible" and I love it. Top have of the of the page is scripture. Bottom half is how we can apply that scripture to our world today. I go to the Catholic church, because it is what my husband does. And I still believe we should worship together. But I know what I believe, I read my Bible. Thank you for your comment and support, and friendship. God bless; Mandy
Thank you for those words of encouragement. I know my husband will be with me in God's kingdom as well. He believes Jesus died for us and in the trinity. I want us to be united as a family in our worship. As for my daughters, I teach them a verse from: A year devotional bible for girls. I we always pray together at night. Praise Jesus. Mandy
Thanks for the friend request. I love your first song, As I am. I just started a ministry with that exact concept. So many feel worthless...BTW, I went to catholic church for 10 years before walking away completely....from God and church. I've returned to God and found a place that suits me spiritually. I think that has to be a personal decision.
Yes Lord thank you for the add you have anice page . I really like skillet.
Good music that gets the our spirit a soar. I also like Future of Forestry maybe you would like. I have never messed with mp3's so I havent any on the NET
