Greetings all,

Our next gathering will be Thursday (5/21/15) at 9 PM EST. We are going to try something new. We are going to study 1 John over the next few weeks. Even though it is a book study each lesson is a stand alone lesson, meaning you do not have to be present at each meeting in order to keep up. 

I am going to use a Bible Study produced by Logos. I have permission to print and share 10 copies. That is perfect for the size of the Hangouts on Air. I cannot publish the questions here, but I can send the study to those who plan to attend so that you can prepare for the gathering in advance.

For those of you who are not familiar with the hangouts check out or group on the homepage of TheNET (TheNET Group and All About Hangouts). I do not put people on the spot, do not ask you directly what you think. I allow you to speak if you wish and to stay silent if you wish. The goal is interaction with more in the grou participating and me speaking less, but that will come with time as people become more comfortable in the gatherings and then engage more.

Let me know if you are interested in participating as we have room for only 10 participants in each gathering, though unlimited can watch from what is called the audience if they ask for an invite in advance.

Note: I have postponed the meeting to May 21 in order to give people time to respond and receive the study material which includes a brief opening topic oriented statement and between 10 to 13 questions on average.

Tonight's meeting is a go. There is still time for others to join. Just let me know if you would like to participate.

Sorry I could not make it back in time for last night. Due to the confusion of things being posted in several spots I have closed the comments section in the All About Hangouts. That group is primarily designed to help tutor people wanting to learn more about HOA. I will also only post the notice of upcoming events in the forum closing it for comments and linking it to this group page. This will be our primary page/group for interaction regarding TheNET HOAs.

I am sorry, but once again I will not be able to make it. I think until my schedule changes (which is coming soon due to some personal changes) we need to suspend these for now. We will return to them and trust we will get back to a regular schedule with rare interruptions.

Thursday's are typically good for me.. I know right now I can't make the 17th, but I think the other Thursdays are fine.  It'll be good to start back in to it.
