What topic are we discussing?

I hate to disappoint, but I just got home from a 14 hour day and realized I don't know where my camera and headset are at. I have misplaced them in our move :-( If I can find them we will we make it happen ...

Don't sweat it. At least you know what to look for before next week. I totally understand still digging thru boxes.

Dangit LT....... I am teasing... Moving  and unpacking while working hard and long hours is tough and tiring.  I hope you do end up finding it though.

Not to worry. I'm having trouble with asthma this evening. It's the rainy weather.  I think I'll rest.

My wife is looking for the camera and headset. They are the only one of each I have. If she finds it tomorrow we are a go, but if not we will have to postpone again ... :-(

I wish you had the same passion that you had for AAG as you did when you first came here. I understand the job chanfge and the moving but it seems you were growing tired even before that.  Are you wanting prayer for a renewal of love  of leading this site? Are you ok?  Please stop teasing us.....

LT,  I recognize the 'busyness' of life and totally understand. It's just a season and at some point it will likely slow down.  It's a bit like a rollercoaster isn't it? 

LT, maybe this is the Lord's way of giving you a season of a little more rest:) You put so much care and time into AAG and have helped so many of us, and if God has put a pause to proceeding with HOA's, I know He has a good reason for it.

LT, your headphones and mic will probably pop out of a box or a cabinet one of these days.  :-)  Doing!!!  LOL  They'll show up. We may as well chuckle about it. I figure you wrapped them and put them some place special so they would be protected and undamaged during the move.

JB, several of us know how to set up a room. If you ever want to lead one, please let me know. We'll figure it out together. LT has never wanted it just to be him to lead these in the first place. He would love others to take part. 

I'll pray about it JB. I thought about Carla doing one as well. I think she would be great at it.

Tammy is correct. We have from day one desired to see other take the lead on this and still hope that will happen.

JB, as we have talked before you and I are not that far apart on what we believe. We agree on a whole bunch more than the few items we differ on, and even those differences are interesting in that we are not talking about opposites, but variations.

Any headway on that camera?

Yes. We actually found it yesterday by going through a bunch of stuff in the garage. I need to do a test run early this week to familiarize myself with Hangouts again and then we should be good to go this Thursday.

Greetings all. I will host an informal gathering tonight at 9 PM EST if any are interested. We will basically just get together to chat and re-familiarize ourselves with the Hangouts on Air. Absolutely Joseph. We have a live HangOut session on Thursdays & would love to see you there. You need a google email, webcam & mic. I'm not sure if you can tune in without the webcam & mic but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

JB: I am pretty sure you can get in without a webcam. We can give it a try.

John: I am open to adjusting the time and day to maximize participation. Ultimately we hope to get more than one group going in the days ahead. 

To all the others who have recently joined, we invite you to participate. It is a gathering to discuss God's Word. When I lead a group I always give the participants the freedom to engage when they are ready or just sit back and listen. i never put anyone on the spot. The best evidence of that is the videos we have already done.

Yeah. I am sure it appeared to many that I had bailed :-) Life just got a bit out of hand for a while. I hope to be more active again here moving forward, especially in the forums and HOAs.

I am open to topical. In fact, most of our previous ones were topical.

I would like feedback from any and all who are interested in joining in the HOAs regarding best times to gather for you (please give more than one option and state in Eastern Standard Time) and topics of interest to potentially discuss.

I'd like to try and attend.  Thursdays are good for me.  EDT.  Here's a map:

JB, If you have any suggestions about what topic you would enjoy discussing, I'm sure LT would be more than happy to do those. He's always open to suggestions. 

John, I think that's a good idea. Some may not be comfortable with stating their names which is fine. Like LT said, he doesn't put anyone on the spot. 

So, who all will be showing up to the HangOuts tomorrow night. We would kinda like to know so we can get a rough count. If you're not quite sure yet, that's fine. 

OK, we are going to take a step back. We currently do not seem to have enough interest in the HOA. We will hold on launching until we get a group ready to meet. Again we can discuss a different day and/or time, but we need to know that we will have at least 4 or 5 in the room. We have had a number of people join the group, but we need confirmation regarding who wants to participate. So, we need to see if there is enough interest and what is the best time for maximum participation.

I or LT will post it right here when the next one will be. We were going to have it last Thursday but didn't have enough interested so we decided to put it off until we had a bigger group. It's almost always on Thursday nights. It's 9pm LT's time which I know tells you nothing. It doesn't tell me anything either. hahaha. I just know that's 6pm my time - again, telling you nothing.

I can participate in HOA after Thanksgiving. The Thursday nights worked for me. With winter coming, if the weather is bad, we may not get home until 8pm. It's just how it is up here. Traffic slows to a crawl because of the snow and ice. I could see light snow in our headlights and tail lights this morning. It's probably 2 days a year, but just fyi so everybody knows.

Looks like we have a group LT the Thursday after Thanksgiving so be preparing your message brother. Maybe give us a heads-up ahead of time what it's about & we can prepare a bit as well.
