Romans 3:22 -24 "We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done. 23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. 24 Yet now God in His gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Jesus Christ, who has freed us by taking away our sins."
2 CORINTHIANS 4:7-18 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12So death works in us, but life in you.
13But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, 14knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 15For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.
16Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
1For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 3inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. 4For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 5Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
6Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— 7for we walk by faith, not by sight— 8we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
AUGUST 1. "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done" (II Cor. v. 10).
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done" (2 Corinthians 5:10).
It will not always be the day of toil and trial. Some day, we shall hear our names announced before the universe, and the record read of things that we had long forgotten. How our hearts will thrill, and our heads will bow, as we shall hear our own names called, and then the Master shall recount the triumph and the services which we had ourselves forgotten! And, perhaps, from the ranks of the saved He shall call forward the souls that we have won for Christ and the souls that they in turn had won, and as we see the issue of things that have, perhaps, seemed but trifling at the time, we shall fall before the throne, and say, "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory!"
Beloved, the pages are going up every day, for the record of our life. We are setting the type ourselves, by every moment's action. Hands unseen are stereotyping the plates, and soon the record will be registered, and read before the audience of the universe. and amid the issues of eternity.

1 JOHN 3:22 CEV : He will give us whateer we ask, because we obey him and do what pleases him.
ROMAN 8:26-27 NLT : And the Holy spirit helps us in our distress. for we don't even know what we should pray for nor how we should pray. But the Holy spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the father who knows all hearts knows what the spirit is saying, for the spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will.
1 JOHN 5:14-15 NIV : this is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And If we know that he hears us...whatever we ask..we know that we have asked of him.
Thanks Acledes & Marty for words of encouragement and offer of help.
I am humbled by this, as I understand you have both gone through alot and your faith is awesome for it. My trials are minisquel but yet my winging is huge, I need to learn to be more positive nad have more faith.
I hear you my brother and this I got this morning and Iwant to share because I HAD BEEN HERE TOO
Today's Bible Verse:
2 Corinthians 1:8-9 For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead ...(NKJV)
Today's Inspiring Thought: Despairing Even of Life
We all know that Paul was a man of faith, a man who was not easily deterred. But things had gotten so bad that he despaired even of his life.
None of us want to go through severe trials. None of us want to experience such pain and hardship that we hit the point of despairing of our lives. We don't often welcome difficulty. Unfortunately, in spite of not wanting these things—despair, pain, and hardship are unavoidable parts of life. The good news is, there is a plus side to experiencing hardship.
Paul had to turn his attention from self to God. The problems at hand were beyond him. In that state, he could only do one thing: trust in the God who raised from the dead. Paul's trials were too much for him, humanly speaking, but he knew they were no match for God who has power and authority even over death.
Our trials in life likely have many purposes. But perhaps one of their main purposes is to show us that we can't possibly handle things on our own; we need God's help. Apart from trials, we may be tempted to fall into an attitude of self-sufficiency when in reality we need to always lean on God and his strength.
Sandra my beloved sister thank you for all those scriptures for most of them are the ones that I leaned on, love you for our Heavenly Father keep his promise we just want things to come when we want them and if we would really look at it from the outside in, that is really being selfish you might say for we should be trying to line our life up with GOD PLAN FOR US NOT TRYING TO GET GOD TO LINE HIS PLAN UP WITH OUR PLAN.
Today's Bible Verse: Galatians 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (ESV) Today's Inspiring Thought: Sow to the Spirit I was moved by what Matthew Henry wrote about this verse in his Commentary on the Whole Bible:
"Those who live a carnal sensual life, who instead of employing themselves to the honour of God and the good of others, spend all their thoughts, and care, and time, about the flesh, must expect no other fruit of such a course than corruption—a mean and short-lived satisfaction at present, and ruin and misery at the end of it. But, on the other hand, those who sow to the Spirit, who under the guidance and influence of the Spirit do live a holy and spiritual life, a life of devotedness to God and of usefulness and serviceableness to others, may depend upon it that of the Spirit they shall reap life everlasting they shall have the truest comfort in their present course, and an eternal life and happiness at the end of it."
He takes care also to consider our frames and states of mind. If the devil would attack us when our mind is in certain moods, we should be more than a match for him: he knows this, and shuns the encounter. Some men are more ready for temptation when they are distressed and desponding; the fiend will then assail them. Others will be more liable to take fire when they are jubilant and full of joy; then will he strike his spark into the tinder. Certain persons, when they are much vexed and tossed to and fro, can be made to say almost anything; and others, when their souls are like perfectly placid waters, are just then in a condition to be navigated by the devil's vessel. As the worker in metals knows that one metal is to be worked at such a heat, and another at a different temperature; as those who have to deal with chemicals know that at a certain heat one fluid will boil, while another reaches the boiling-point much earlier, so Satan knows exactly the temperature at which to work us to his purpose. Small pots boil directly they are put on the fire, and so little men of quick temper are soon in a passion; larger vessels require more time and coal before they will boil, but when they do boil, it is a boil indeed, not soon forgotten or abated. The enemy, like a fisherman, watches his fish, adapts his bait to his prey; and knows in what seasons and times the fish are most likely to bite. This hunter of so souls comes upon us unawares, and often we are overtaken in a fault and or caught in a trap through an unwatchful frame of mind. That rate collector of choice sayings, Thomas Spencer, has the following which is to the much to the point—"The chameleon, when he lies on the grass to catch flies and grasshoppers, taketh upon him the colour of the grass, as the polypus doth the colour of the rock under which he lurketh, that the fish may boldly come near him without any suspicion of danger. In like manner, Satan turneth himself into that shape hich we least fear, and sets before us such objects of temptation as are most agreeable to our natures, that sohe may the sooner draw us into his net; he sails with every wind, and blows us that way which we incline ourselves through the weakness of nature. Is our knowledge in matter of faith deficient? He tempts us to error. Is our conscience tender? He tempts us to scrupulosity, and too much preciseness. Hath our conscience, like the ecliptic line, some latitude? He tempts us to carnal liberty. Are we bold spirited? He tempts us to presumption. Are we timorous and distrustful? He tempteth us to desperation. Are we of a flexible disposition? He tempteth us to inconstancy. Are we stiff? He labours to make obstinate heretics, schismatics, or rebels of us. Are we of an austere tempter? He tempteth us to cruelty. Are we soft and mild? He tempteth us to indulgence and foolish pity. Are we hot in matters of religion? He tempteth us to blind zeal and superstition. Are we cold? He tempteth us to Laodicean lukewarmness. Thus doth he lay his traps, that one way or other, he may ensnare us."
2 Corinthians 7:6-7 Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.(NKJV)
Today's Inspiring Thought: The Snowball Effect of Comforting Others
Discouragement and disappointment are common problems in today's world. But we have a God who not only comforts the downcast, he sends other believers to comfort them. If you're in need of comfort today, my prayer is that God himself will comfort you, and send others to your side to comfort you as well.
What I'd really like to address, though, is the snowball effect of comforting others. Note that in the above passage, God comforted Paul by sending Titus to him. But it didn't stop there; Paul was comforted even more when he heard about how Titus had been comforted by the church in Corinth.
When we comfort people, we seldom think of how the comfort we give will in turn comfort others. If you take this to the logical conclusion, the "others" who are comforted will, perhaps, comfort more people, who will perhaps comfort more people, and thus, the snowball effect of comforting others continues.
We have no way of really knowing how far our words of encouragement will go, but it is an amazing thing to think about. Taking the time to encourage someone today may have a far-reaching impact, even beyond what we can imagine. How encouraging is that!
So, comfort someone today. Give a word of encouragement or a smile, or perhaps lend a hand to a friend or stranger in need. You never know who might be comforted and encouraged by your one act of kindness!
LORD BLESS YOU FOR BEING SO VICTORIOUS IN OUR LIFE. ONCE AGAIN I PRAY FOR YOU TO PERFORM ANOTHER MIRACLE LORD, tomorow is the semi final exam of my child Kim, I know you are not blind and you are not deaf, hear me again LORD and able me to pay the tuition. I dont know how you will do it, but I know YOU can DO IT, because you are my GOD, bigger than all my problems. I love you LORD and YOU ARE AWESOME in everything
WORD OF GOD: 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 New International Version (NIV) wow just received this ,thank you O HEAVENLY FATHER FOR I NEEDED IT
“God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”
(Philippians 4:19, NKJV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
When the people of Israel were in the desert on the way to the Promised Land, God gave them manna to eat. That was good. It sustained them for a while, but it wasn’t permanent provision. Eventually, the manna stopped coming. The people had to move forward, and then God gave them quail. They were so excited. That fed them for a while, but it was also temporary.
See, God gave the Israelites temporary provision on the way to the Promised Land where they would have permanent provision. The fact that God had something much greater in store for their future is what kept them moving forward. God could have sustained them with manna or quail, but God is a god of increase. He works in seasons, and He always has something better in store.
Don’t get stuck in a rut and think that one way is going to last forever. Instead, stay open and be willing to change, make adjustments, make corrections or try something new. If the “manna” stops coming, don’t get upset. Just keep moving forward and be on the lookout for the new provision God has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, You alone are the just and faithful God! Thank You for always providing for me. Thank You for leading and guiding me. I trust that You have good things in store for my future and choose to keep my eyes on You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. 25Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
This is part of who we are and how we conduct ourselves. ALL the GLORY goes to JESUS!!! We are lead by Holy Spirit, we no longer live as we once did. Those parts of us; our prior behavior; the sinful nature we lived in. It all has been nailed to the Cross. We are not bound by those activities, of our past. WE ARE FREED FROM THE SHACKLES THAT HELD US, THOSE HAVE BEEN BROKEN. GLORY, PRAISE, AND HONOR, to the ONE WHO SET US FREE!!!
15For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,21far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Elaine & Marty thank you so very much for your kind comments. There is no need to miss me I read the groiup almost every might, though don't always reply or comment, I dont have the words. i do get inspiration from your prays and comments and have almost fallen in love with some of them.

Love you all thanks for the group and the site, It all good learning.
Please Lord shine your healing loving light on Rikki, ease the hurting and increase the loving and confidence in your child Rikki, help Rikki to experience a life with your love and healing touching Rikki every moment. AMEN so let it be done. Thanks God
As I begin my day, I have many choices of how to do this. And, I have done them all countless times. There is only one way that is the most effective, to begin our day with Praise and Worship to the Lord. As we begin to humble ourselves before the Lord. Humble worry we might wake up with. Humble pain that might demand attention. Or any other things that would want to convince us, not to Praise and give Honor, to Our Lord. We set All those things aside, and zero in on the Love the Father has for us. We give Him who we are, at that moment. Not one who, lacks or is in pain. But, a child of His who, Loves Him and wants to Thank Him. At that moment we are just so privileged, to be able to Worship Our Creator; Our Saviour, Our friend, and Our Dad. We are not asking Him for anything, because we are Thanking Him for everything! The more we Praise Him, Joy begin to spring up. With that Joy comes strength. Strength to face that worry, that pain, or whatever the case may be. In confidence we are able to cast our cares on Him. 1Peter 5:7 And cast all your cares on God, for he takes care of you.; Turn all your anxiety over to God because he cares for you. This is the Power we have available to us everyday. Yet, knowing this I do not start everyday this way. Why? Gal 5:16-18 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. Knowing what we are up against, understanding the benefits of obedience. We learn and grow. We do not allow any condemnation to be heaped, or even placed on us. The one thing we must not do is, give up, walk away, and deny the Truth we have experience, through the Spirit of God. Past that we all have times of struggles, and doubts. It is what we do with them, when they come. Through all of mine I have learned. God’s Love has no equal! The Spirit will pick up where you left off. No matter what you might have done, Jesus will never leave or forsake you. So as we lift one another up to the Lord, let it be in Jesus Name, we wake up and Praise His Name.
FATHER GOD there is so much to thank you that I was not able to acknowledge the value of it, so many times YOU have given all those I've asked and yet I never stretched my hand to receive it, so many times I have frogotten how important is "everyday" in our life and yet I never appreciated it, the rains, the sunny days are also part of of life but I never consider it. LORD I pray for all my negligiance you will forgive me and still continue to open doors in all heart desires. THANK YOU LORD for being with us all the time. HALLELUJAH AND HALLELUJAH !
Wow this is so true Today's Bible Verse: 1 Corinthians 10:31 So ... whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (ESV) Today's Inspiring Thought: All to the Glory of God I love the simplicity of this verse. How can we go wrong, as followers of Christ, if we live by this directive? Imagine, whenever you are in doubt or in need of guidance, you can ask yourself this question: Will my actions bring glory to God?
We don't have to live our lives directed by whims or notions. As we read God's Word, study the life of Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us, we can know without any doubt what pleases the Lord. Then, all that's left to do is just do it! Give glory to God in everything we do.
(1) Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites, because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. (2) There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. New International VersionChange Bible versions
Faithlessness, when it has infected every area of a culture, blurs the distinction between right and wrong, good and evil, morality and immorality. Without truth, there is no reliable ethical basis for government, commerce, or social relationships. There are no solid standards. Without virtues upon which a majority agree, one can never be quite sure how another will conduct himself, and so everyone becomes untrustworthy.
In this context, mercy connotes steadfast love rather than a singular act of kindness toward somebody in need. It means, then, that people waver in their loyalties. They pursue whatever fad comes along. We might say today that they "blow hot and cold." When they are "hot" they are "hot," but they can never seem to sustain it because, when their eyes are lured by some new, exciting interest, they are off in that direction until yet something else catches their imagination.
The "knowledge of God" includes two elements: First is the knowledge about God, of His existence, Word, and way. The second is acknowledging Him. This denotes commitment, a steady loyalty to Him personally and to His way of life as a pattern of living. The context demands the second element, since God would have no reason to accuse people who were not aware of Him and His way of life. Because He is addressing those who have that basic knowledge, His complaints are directed at faithless, uncommitted people. In America, it is becoming almost impossible to find responsible and trustworthy people.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come”
(2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)
TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a new creation! You have a new spirit, a new walk, a new life! There may be “old” things in your life that you are trying to get rid of. Maybe you have old habits or addictions that you want to change. Remember today that the new has come. It’s a new year with new opportunities, and it’s time for you to be the new you. Let this be the year that you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move forward into a new life of victory. Let this be the year that you take hold of all the spiritual blessings the Lord has promised — peace, health, protection and victory.
Be encouraged today because no matter what is happening in your life right now, you have a chance for a new beginning. Choose today to leave the old behind — old behaviors, old thinking, old words — and embrace the new by faith because this is your year to experience the new life that He has prepared for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me new. I choose today to leave behind the old life and ask that You empower me by Your spirit. Help me to understand Your plan and know the truth of Your Word that sets me free in Jesus’ name. Amen.
The question is not, “why am I being tested?” The question is why not? Why, should you not be tested on what you, “believe?” What activity do you take part in that, you are not challenged in? As a whole we are people who work at improving who we are. After a person gives their life to Christ. Everything changes! But, for the most part, Not over night. Yes, God sees and knows everything. It is the desire of our heart, that He exams. Only Jesus got everything right. The enemy is the accuser! All it wants you to do is, to “feel” inadequate! God is Not Demanding Perfection. Just a Pure Desire to Serve Him and one another. We have Holy Ghost Living with us. Directing our path, showing us the way. We are Saved and Given Life by and through Jesus the Christ. Rest in the Knowledge that, “You Are LOVED!!” Meditate; Ponder; Consider, that Truth. Again and Again. Our Salvation is a Gift! We are Loved by the Most High. Stop asking, “Why am I being tested?” Allow Joy to explode! Heb 13:5 Let not your mind love money, but let whatever you have suffice for you, for THE LORD JEHOVAH has said, “I shall not forsake you, neither shall I let go of your hand.” This is God’s Word; this is Who and What Jesus is!! As He holds, don’t you let go! Trust and have Faith in God and His Word. The testing we go through, make us Stronger! Let go of the fear and hold tight to the Hope we have in Christ.
13Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
15The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw.” 16He said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here.” 17The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband’; 18for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.” 19The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20“Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” 21Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22“You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” 26Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us.—I JOHN 3:16.
The love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.—Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.—Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.—Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.—Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.—For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.—Christ . . . suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
Ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.—We ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.—We . . . have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
The Spirit . . . helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.—This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.—When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication.

26Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27“Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” 28Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” 30So they said to Him, “What then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform? 31“Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.’” 32Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. 33“For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” 34Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
35Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. 36“But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe. 37“All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. 38“For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39“This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. 40“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
Words to the Jews
41Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, “I am the bread that came down out of heaven.” 42They were saying, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, ‘I have come down out of heaven’?” 43Jesus answered and said to them, “Do not grumble among yourselves. 44“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. 45“It is written in the prophets, ‘AND THEY SHALL ALL BE TAUGHT OF GOD.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me. 46“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. 48“I am the bread of life. 49“Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. 50“This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. 51“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”
52Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55“For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57“As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58“This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”
Words to the Disciples
59These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
60Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?” 61But Jesus, conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? 62“What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before? 63“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. 64“But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him. 65And He was saying, “For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.”
First I want to be clear I have NO problem with what you All are posting. What I would ask you All include is, what each of you see in these scriptures. We have Your Word on which we are able to Stand, All for Your Glory.
With response to your comments. I would like to share mine and I would like to start by saying that I know they might come across negative, but it is what I am experiencing. I love the comments form everyone on here, I love the faith people have on christianity and God. The one thing for definite is that these have increased my faith in the good side of humanity.
In my search for spirituality, I think christianity or my understanding of it doesn't really fit with what my perceptions of christianity and true love or should I say unconditional love is with regards to what it says God is offerring or what I have to offer God . I find at the moment there is to much contradiction, no matter what others have said. I can't comprehend that people don't see it. This is maybe where I am at with my spiritual journey, but I can't find my self being a slave to something that pretends to love me but hurts so quickly. A god that can give to some and not to others and then condems those (for eternity)that doesn't give to. Then asks us to pleed for forgiveness and then decides wether to give this or not. With a promise that when we are dead we might or might not go to heaven. But then on the other hand the bible says that Jesus died for our sins, we are born sinful so we can sin and ask for forgiveness and it is given, but then its says we shall not sin????? The bible to me so far has loads of positive wording and excellent positve thinking methods, but then has masses of contradictions. It reads as though it is written by humans who want power over others, so they can use fear to control us. We only have to read many comments and snippets of scripts on these blogs that demonstrate this and with contradictions, well to me, they do. I am honstly lost with getting my head and understanding around this.
I love the fact that people care and pray for each other, to me that is humanity, but if I asked or if a human came out and asked what is asked from us in the bible. I or we would be classed as a psychopath a meglamainics.
My expereince in all my life has been struggle struggle after struggle, I know when I have been good or bad, I know when I should have and shouldn't have, but when I have asked for help the lord has not answered, when I have asked the Lord why he has not answered, when I have tried to ignore that there isn't a God (yes I have tried this) things have got worse, when I have left my life to God it has got even worse, but it hurts more because I have fallen to false promise that all I have to do is ask and its given, faith a small as mustard seed will move my mountains, that God loves all his children and doesn't gives us anything we can't handle or to hurt us???well it has so God has said no and not answered why, so where is Gods love for many others others as well as me???? When a human makes another human suffer we call them evil a psychopath. But we pray and give thanks to something that so far does this alot to humans. Somtimes it is said it is the devil, then its said to be Gods will and god has the ulitmate power etc, etc. Humans are given masses of sufferring and then are expected to ask forgiveness and pleed for help, but then on the other hand we don't have to because Jesus suffered for us.???I have asked God to let me into the plan, help me just be in The Lords destiny, there has been no answer, which would indicate that I am carnal beyond christianity beyond the chosen. But how come I can't let go of wanting to be spiritual, how come I love people and helping people, how come I pray for people, how come I enjoy and get loads of inspiration from reading some of the blogs on here and some of the scriptures.
I would love to have the faith my friends on this group have, but in all honesty I don't and at the moment my experience is saying stop trying, I can't understand how making people suffer is a good thing.
We have lived since Adam and Eve and yet we are still in a world of have and have nots, given and not given, chosen or not, gifted, or not, loved or not. The very fact that I am questioning like I am indicates I am not ready to be a true christian yet, I know my soul is wanting to leave my body and earth, but my logic is saying there is a long time left here, but I am sick of the hurting, both in me and that of others.
I love reading peoples comments on here and I love the scriptures, and there do help me question myself and my negative ness around christianity, but its the contradictions, one day its Gods will, one day its the devil, one day its me being human, one day all I have to do is ask and its given, the next its only given when god wants to, it confuses me. one day it its all Gods plan and I can't do anything about it??
As you can tell I really need help with my christian faith.
I have not been far, and have been reading all the post but, thanks for the welcome back, nonetheless. As always I love your candor. I will share more after I have Prayed. I want to share with you, some of what I have seen, just need a little time. Quick thought though, do we have megalomania if we think God is accountable to us? {just kidding} You know I love you, so I knew I could ask you that. I really do want to share a few things I saw, in what you shared. Be back soon.
As we have shared before, as we both desire Spiritual over religion. Spiritual dictates something beyond us. For us God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I will always see the Word as, Spirit not letter, Yes, men wrote the words, however, through the Guidance of God. Spiritual is in a completely different understanding, then any rules man will or is able to control. Salvation is a Gift, we cannot earn it, only receive the Gift. Through Grace we are able to change, and be better people. To serve Him and others. Again, not the letter of the law, but the Spirit which transcends anything in the physical. My Brother because of your training and education, you see things in a different light then most. Your desire for the Spiritual ignites when you see it behavior. Prayer, Faith, Hope and True Love, all part of Spiritual. Yes, we are able to show some of these traits through the physical. Like looking into muddy water at best. Much confusion is created when we combine, Spiritual and physical. This is where we see contradictions. Hamm accept the Gift as a gift. Let go of trying to fit God into the rules of physical. Receive Jesus as Savior. Seek out to be Baptized in Holy Ghost, from those who understand. And, take one step at a time. When you ask for forgiveness, also forgive yourself. Let go of the past. You have a good heart, that is evidence of love. Until we reach Heaven, we will not know just how much, He has done for us. Until, then we Trust.
What if I am wrong. And there is no god. I lived a life, as a kind person. I loved others. I helped when and where I could. etc. Oh, and we can not serve God because we fear hell. I serve God because of Grace, and I have no fear of hell, because of the Gift I received. You are getting there Brother, keep up the search. Many things are about to be put in motion for you. I truly love you Hamm. I am able to say that with confidence because of Jesus, and Holy Spirit. More later
Chip my Brother I need a little clarification on what you have shared here. “.we aren't still sinners, and we aren't sinners saved by grace..” Here are but two of many verses, Eph 2:8 God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 2Tim 1:9 For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was His plan from before the beginning of time--to show us His grace through Christ Jesus. I was a sinner and Holy Spirit showed me, I needed Jesus. So the Spirit lead me to give my heart to Jesus. I received the Gift of Salvation. I “accepted” Him as Lord and Master over my life. 1John 3:9 Those who have been born into God's family do not make a practice of sinning, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they are children of God. The difference is forethought before we sin, as opposed to just sinning and not caring. As those of the world do. In Luke 18:17 I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." This means how we receive the Lord. That childlike faith, before they start asking,”why?” Anyone who has raised or been around children, know that time period before they start to question. They just believe everything told them is true. 2Cor 1:22 and He has identified us as His own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything He has promised us.
Chip I do not understand much of what you are sharing here. I get the “feeling” you are talking down to us. I have known you for awhile now, please clear this up for me. And, please add scripture with some of these points. I am not sure you understand what we have been talking about. The difference between religion and spiritual living. Please clear some of this up for me. I sense a attitude here from you, that I have not before. As I said please, show me how we are not saved by Grace. And, that we are not sinners. I simply do not understand much of what you have shared this time. You are a Brother in the Lord, and I love you Chip. I just need to understand what you are sharing here. Thank you Chip
Heavenly Father, my life is in Your hands. Yesterday, today, and forever, I am safe and secure in You. Lord, please help me to know that You are in control. Help me to believe You are at work in my life right now, even when I don't see it. Help me to trust in what I do not see, when what I see is so painful. Please help me to know You are taking care of my needs.
Lord, thank You for listening to my cries for help. Thank You for loving me so much. Help me to believe You and the promises You have made. Forgive me when I doubt You and Your love. I believe, Lord. Forgive me for my unbelief.
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8
' THE LORD IS THY KEEPER: THE LORD IS THY SHADE UPON THY RIGHT HAND. THE SUN SHALL NOT SMITE THEE BY DAY,NOR THE MOON BY NIGHT. THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE THEE FROM ALL EVIL: HE SHALL PRESERVE THY SOUL. THE LORD SHALL PRESERVE THY GOING OUT AND THY COMING IN FROM THIS TIME FORTH,AND EVEN FOR EVERMORE ''.....Psalms121 : 5-8

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Have you ever tried something and got the results you wanted and then tried the same thing again and got different results? This happened to Moses in the Bible. They needed water and God told Moses to strike the rock. He struck the rock and water flowed out freely. Another time they needed water again, and God told Moses, “Speak to the rock.” Do you know what Moses did? He went over and struck the rock. He thought, “Hey, it worked last time. It’ll work this time.” But it didn’t. God had a different plan.
The point is that we have to stay open and make adjustments to stay in tune with God’s plan. You can do the same thing the same way you did last time and get different results. It may not be something major, but like Moses, maybe it’s just something small. Sometimes a small tweak, a small adjustment can make a major difference in the outcome.
Today, make sure you aren’t doing things just because it’s the way you always did it before. Instead, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God inside. Follow His leading and stay in sync with the wonderful plan He has for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, I submit my mind, will and heart to You. Help me to see clearly what Your plan is for me. Help me to stay close to You always, not living in the past, but pressing forward to the new things You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be blessed with this scripture reading!

2 CORINTHIANS 4:7-18
7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

2 Corinthians 5 :1-10
New American Standard Bible
The Temporal and Eternal

I hear you my brother and this I got this morning and Iwant to share because I HAD BEEN HERE TOO
Today's Bible Verse:
2 Corinthians 1:8-9
For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead ... (NKJV)

Today's Bible Verse:
Galatians 6:8
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (ESV)
Today's Inspiring Thought: Sow to the Spirit
I was moved by what Matthew Henry wrote about this verse in his Commentary on the Whole Bible:

FAMILY CHECK THIS OUT IT IS GREAT FOOD FOR THE SOUL,AND IT COME FROM A GREAT MAN OF GOD FROM THE PAST
Charles Haddon Spurgeon

Today's Bible Verse:
2 Corinthians 7:6-7
Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more. (NKJV)

WORD OF GOD:
16 Therefore we do not lose heart.

GLORY, PRAISE, AND HONOR, to the ONE WHO SET US FREE!!!Feb 15, 2012

These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Hosea 4:1-2
(1) Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites,
because the LORD has a charge to bring
against you who live in the land:
"There is no faithfulness, no love,
no acknowledgment of God in the land. (2) There is only cursing, lying and murder,
stealing and adultery;
they break all bounds,
and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
New International Version Change Bible versions

WATER FROM HEAVEN JOHN 4:13-26

Praying in the Holy Ghost.—JUDE 20..

JOHN 6:26-65
Words to the People
26Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

Hi Chris, glad you are back.

My very Dear Brother Hamm

Help me to believe You are at work in my life right now,
even when I don't see it.
Help me to trust in what I do not see,
when what I see is so painful.

ALCEDES JONES
this is great food for thought
