" He will walk through the waters and the flames with you—to protect you. God's eyes are always watching over you, because you are precious to him and He loves you."  I depend on these very words. Glory to the Lord

Today's Bible Verse:

Isaiah 43:4
... you are precious in my eyes ... and I love you. (ESV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: Precious in His Eyes

Just before this declaration of love, the Lord told Israel not to fear: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

What are you afraid of today? What circumstances are threatening you? Fear not! The Lord is with you. He knows your name and you belong to him. He will walk through the waters and the flames with you—to protect you. God's eyes are always watching over you, because you are precious to him and he loves you.

Eph 1:11-14  11God also decided ahead of time to choose us through Christ according to His plan, which makes everything work the way He intends.  12 He planned all of this so that we who had already focused our hope on Christ would praise Him and give him glory. 13You heard and believed the message of truth, the Good News that He has saved you. In Him you were sealed with the Holy Spirit whom He promised. 14This Holy Spirit is the guarantee that we will receive our inheritance. We have this guarantee until we are set free to belong to Him. God receives praise and glory for this.

And, for our part we must only accept and believe.  As we put our Trust and Hope in Him.  He is not surprised by anything that comes our way.  We have His Word on which we are able to stand.  Let it be that we Rejoice and be Glad.

Many times this like the end of the rope.  We tie a knot and hang on to His Word.  It can be very hard at times, yet we hold on to Him and His Promises.  I have let go at times.  After I repented, I discover He has been waiting.  "Are you ready to continue, son?"  Yes, Dad I am.  What I have discovered is, it is not based on time.  Sometimes we think it is, but it is not.  It is based on when we accept what He is try to teach us.  It is not so much about time, but how long until we "humble" ourselves and learn what we need to learn.

Thank you Alcedes for sharing this.  It is indeed a "Good Word."

FAMILY I WANT TO SHARE THIS BECAUSE THE SAME WAY THIS WAS SENT TO ME IT CAN BE FOR YOU AS WELL FOR OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS NOT A FAVORITE TYPE OF FATHER WHAT HE WILL DO FOR ONE OF HIS CHILDREN HE WILL DO FOR ALL ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

Dear Al,

So often we miss out on God’s best because we give up too soon.

We don’t realize how close we are to our victory. Just another few days of believing, another few weeks of doing the right thing, or another few months of staying in faith is all you may need to see His promises come to pass.

Today, I want to speak by faith over you. Your breakthrough is right around the corner!

You might say, “Joel, I don’t know how I’m going to make it. Things seem to be getting worse instead of better.” You might be tempted to think, I’m never going to find my spouse, or I’m never going to get that promotion, or I’m never going to break this addiction.

But you can, because the truth is your Heavenly Father is closer than you think.

I have found that the intensity gets turned up when victory is near. The enemy would not be fighting so hard if he didn’t already know he was about to lose his grip on you.

When those negative thoughts come that would discourage you, just remind yourself that you are a child of the Most High God. Let your words be, “I am an overcomer. I am the head and not the tail. I am a victor and not a victim.”

Scripture is full of people who were closer than they thought...
  • David faced impossible odds against Goliath, but he was moments away from victory (1 Samuel 17).
  • Elijah was surrounded by 400 false prophets, but the power of God was about to be revealed for everyone to see (1 Kings 18).
  • Joseph was forgotten and left in prison, but he was just a dream away from his royal position (Genesis 39–40).

Can you imagine if David dropped his slingshot and ran? What if Elijah had backed down? What if Joseph had stopped dreaming?

They didn’t give up, and God gave them victory!

These stories reveal that it is often the darkest right before the dawn.

Perhaps today you are facing impossible odds. Maybe you feel surrounded, maybe you feel forgotten. The good news for you is that our God can act suddenly in your situation. In a moment’s notice, everything can change for the better!

I believe and declare that God is going to open doors on your behalf. Your faith will be rewarded. Your dawn is almost here. He will put you in the right position to win. He is going to give you inside information. He will do the impossible in your life. Get ready!

Victoria and I love you and pray for you every day. We are believing God’s best for you, and we are so excited that you are going to see God move in your situation sooner than you think! You are going to be amazed at His goodness in the days to come.

Thank you all for your comments.

I really liked the feeling that I got just smiling at thinking someone else could be benefitting form my loss. To me that was Jesus touching. If I could have that feeling everyday all the time..

The estate I was working on at the time has alot of poverty and one of the highest mental health problems per population, so I would have loved it if that cyclist did win. Bless him.

Praise to you my dear friends I know you have all had hard times and I love your faith. God bless you love you all.
