7. STRESS FREE: Eagles do not sweat. Instead they thermoregulate i.e. (control their temperature) by panting with their mouth open or through heat loss through the unfeathered legs and feet. Unlike many birds, eagles flap their wings very infrequently. They know how to conserve their energy. Once they fly and reach a certain level, they know all they need to do is relax and soar effortlessly. It’s therefore not surprising that they enjoy a quality life and live long. A person who flaps a lot, running all over the place, using all their energy is a person who will always be stressed with little to show for it. A person who will be stress free, is a person who has learned that they can’t do everything. They flap, but know when to stop and soar and get some good rest. Stress will kill you. It will kill your dreams, it will shorten your life and it will rob you of the ability to enjoy your journey. Eagles do not sweat! Yet they “lord” the air! (literally). They take it ONE day at a time. The have no savings account. Just simple trust… that tomorrow will take care of itself. Slow down, work smart and quit stressing about everything and most importantly, TRUST God!

The bald eagles beak is strong (sharp enough to slice tough skin, but also delicate enough to groom a mate’s feathers or feed a small portion of food to a newly hatched chick

8. DESTINED FOR GREATNESS: When the mother eagle sees that time has come for it to teach the baby eagle to fly, she gathers it on her back, and begins to fly. She then gently swoops herself from below her little one. It is when the little eagle starts falling that it begins to discover what its wings are for. The mother will catch him, repeating the process until the little eagle begins to catch the drift of flying. If the young is slow to learn or cowardly, she returns it to the nest, and slowly begins picking the nest apart until there is nothing left for the little eagle to cling to… meaning “he will now have to fly or fall”. Your potential is locked inside you. What makes a baby eagle grow into a majestic eagle?  It was created to rule the air, but it could stay cowardly in the heights of a cozy nest, but its mother won’t let it.  God is not going to let you sit in that cozy comfortable zone.  He is going to upset your equilibrium until you begin to walk in the greatness He destined you for.  If He has to drop you 100 times then catch you, He will do it.  If He has to pluck all the twigs, feathers and thorns from your nest until nothing is left, He will do it.  When it gets uncomfortable enough, you will eventually overcome your fears, jump out and fly! You have been influenced to lead since birth.  Your maker made you to lead, so rise up and lead!

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Just for Laughs

Honesty

One day, while a woodcutter was cutting a branch of a tree above river, his axe fell into the river. When he cried out, the Lord appeared and asked, "Why are you crying?"

The woodcutter replied that his axe has fallen into the river, and he needed it to make his living.

The Lord went down in the water and appeared with a golden axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.

The woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord again went down and came up with a silver axe. "Is this your axe?"the Lord asked.

"No", the woodcutter replied.

The Lord went down again and came up with an iron axe. "Is this your axe?"the Lord asked.

"Yes", he replied.

The Lord was so pleased with the man's honesty that He gave him all three axes to keep, and the woodcutter went home happy.

Later the woodcutter was walking with his wife along the riverbank, and his wife fell into the river.

When he cried out, the Lord appeared again and asked him, "Why are you crying?"

"Oh Lord, my wife has fallen into the river!" The Lord went down into the water and came up with Jennifer Lopez.

"Is this your wife?" the Lord asked.

"Yes," cried the woodcutter.

The Lord was furious. "You lied! That is an untruth!"

The woodcutter fell to his knees and cried, "Oh, forgive me, Lord. It is a misunderstanding.

You see, if I had said 'no' to Jennifer Lopez, you would have come up with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Then if I also said 'no' to her, you would have come up with my wife.

Had I then said 'yes,' you would have given me all three.

Lord, I am a poor man, and am not able to take care of all three wives, and I love my wife such that I don't want her to share me with anyone, so THAT'S why I said yes to Jennifer Lopez."

The moral of this story is: Whenever a man lies, it is for a good and honourable reason, and for the benefit of others.. MOSTLY his lady!

That's our story, and we're sticking to it..

THE GUYS.

Speakkkkkkkkkkkk

And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done ----- Matthew 21:21

We've all had seasons when the challenges of life feel overwhelming.

During those times, it's easy to be tempted to talk about how bad things are.

Maybe you received a bad medical report, or maybe you're facing a financial obstacle.

But the more you talk about something, the bigger it becomes in your mind.

Instead, you've got to dig your heels in and say, "No, I am not going to give life to that defeat.

I am not going to speak sickness over myself.

I'm not going to speak lack.

I'm not going to speak fear.

I'm choosing a different report.

I believe the report of the Lord which says I am blessed.

I am favoured.

I am prosperous.

I am healthy. I am whole. I'm a victor, not a victim.

Remember, even if you don't see how things could ever work out, God does.

You've got to speak to those mountains in your life and declare favour over those situations.

Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is!

As you speak to your mountains, they will be moved, and you will move forward into the victory God has prepared for you!

Joyyyyyyyyyyyy

No one can take away your joy --- John 16:22

Life may not have turned out the way you planned, but you still have the power to be happy right where you are.

God is the source of all joy, and when God gives you something, nothing in the world can take it away.

That means other people cannot make you unhappy, no circumstance can force you to get upset.

Nothing can take your joy; you have to give it away.

You’re in complete control of your happiness.

Think of it this way: If somebody is rude to you, what they’re really saying is, Give me your joy.

Somebody cuts you off in traffic, Let me have your joy.

Somebody ignores you or leaves you out of a meeting; they’re just asking for your joy.

You have a choice.

You can give it to them by going around upset, frustrated and offended.

Or, you can make a much better decision and say, No thanks, I need my joy. I’m not going to get upset because you were rude and didn’t speak to me.

I’m not going to be frustrated because you cut me off in traffic.

I’ve already made up my mind that I’m going to live this day happy!

Instead of giving them your joy, give them mercy, grace and understanding.

Give them the benefit of the doubt and keep your joy because only you are in control of your happiness!

THE SECRET TO HAPPINESS

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said. "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.

The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table.

In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table  were thin and sickly.

They appeared to be famished.

They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.

The Lord said, "You have seen Hell.

They went to the next room and opened the door.

It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water.

The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple," said the Lord. "It requires but one skill. You see they have learned the secret to happiness..... feed one another."
