Welcome Jasper.  My Brother I am looking forward to learning about you.  To learn the things the Spirit has shown you.  That is part of what this group is about.

I would like to share with you about your question.  The things we hear from God, can be confirmed through His Word.  The Spirit of the Word.  We know He will not tell us things that would go against the principals of His Word.  We know the enemy will lie to us.  Some of what it may say could have shades of truth, but will be found to be false in the end.  We all enjoy to hear good things about ourselves.  Yet, other people and even the enemy, may tell us things that feed into our ego.  We must weigh these things against a humble heart.  Many times people are lead astray by a flattering tongue.  When God speaks to us, His Peace is felt by our spirit.  We may not always like what He tells us to begin with, yet we are given His Peace.  We are also edified by the things of the Spirit.  If we follow the voice of the enemy, sooner or later we will discover a cost; a price will be paid for following the enemy.  Since Jesus paid the price for us, that is why we are built up by the things He tells us.  The things God tells us can be confirmed by many different ways.  He knows what we need, so we are able to hear His Voice and knows that it is  Our Father speaking to us.  Lord Bless you Brother

amen bro and you too. Thanks for that and the welcome.. The Lord has indeed taught me a LOT in my 2 years with Him. I hope the Lord sharpens my sight and hearing power in the Name of Jesus... Thanks a lot for that..

Satan only desire to deceive us, to kill us, to destroy us, he only longs for us to be separated from God, so He will speak lies to us, He will lead us to destruction,  but God would always lead us to the right, true victorious life, which He gave through Jesus Christ.... and one way for us to easily distinguish whose voice we are listening to is to spend time with God, study His word, meditate on it, establish prayer life. For as you develop and grow in the knowledge of God, you'll be sensitive to his voice and the Holy Spirit will gonna guide you, and teach you all things. Amen and amen. :)
