We say the words, “All the Glory goes to Our Lord Jesus Christ!” But, I wonder what it would be like if we held, or tried to hold some back; some for ourselves? Please, indulge me for a few moments. The pain you encounter by rejection, can be a barometer; a gauge, to show how much we desire something {the deeper the hurt, the stronger the desire}. Also, someone may say something, all of a sudden we are grieved and do not know why. There may not be a bruise or memory, but that does not mean we were not wounded. We may desire attention, praise, companionship, and any number of needs we as humans require. It is not that, to feel these things or want those things is wrong. What I am saying is, we have a gift in our emotions. Instead of, denying their existence or allowing them to effect your self worth, please consider this. When we share ideas and our feelings about things, it is our nature to want to be recognized. To have our feelings mean something to another. We want to know, the help we are trying to share is, well, helping. Even the Words, the Spirit has instructed us to share. And, yes as with all things, we want to give All the Glory to God. Yet, it is good and encouraging to have others, confirm our leaps of Faith. Now to the point. When we do not receive anything, any response from things shared. Inside of ourselves, a need gets unmet, again. Maybe, we were reaching out in friendship, or even as small as waving to people. Over a period of time of waving to people, and no one waving back can be disheartening. Specially to a old country boy who, remembers when it was strange not to wave. See when we feel something we must understand why. Now, this is going to get dicey, when someone does not have feeling in the hands, and they get to close to a flame. As their hand is getting burned they do not know to pull it away. At the same time we may not have memories, many times this is for our own good. How, do we know the difference? This is the dicey part, only in Christ do we know. Only by the Spirit and Faith in God, do we learn what is and is not for our good, to know or not. But, we can not weigh our self-worth on numbers after the word, views. Again, all Glory goes to God, but your missing my point. To give all the Glory to Jesus is the goal, we have to get there first. There may be times when, we are holding on to a little of that desire. Not that we want Glory but, we might want to be recognized, just a little. Of course, All the Glory Must go to Jesus. We need to know if, we are holding on to some. One way to find out is by, those “feeling” felt through rejection. We are able to discover how much we hold onto, by the strength of them. Thoughts, temptations, and emotions, they all come at us from many directions. We are not accountable to them, we will give a account of our life one day. We are responsible in how we handle them. So, I will use me as an example, the Spirit shares with me something. I share with others. Yes, my heart truly gives Him all the Glory, or at least wants to, or thinks I am. This is now the point. When I check to see if, anyone has looked at what was shared. And, I get upset, distressed, or feel demoralized because, I see what I think is a dismal number of views. STOP! Instead of, allowing a negative reaction to, tear down my self image, I will use them as a benchmark. I will see just exactly where I am, and where I need to start from. When those thoughts come,
I can chose not to take ownership of that thinking, I can simply see where or how I need to mature. And, to those memories, we have forgotten. {yes, I know that sounds strange, but you know what I mean} In Prayer we ask the Lord, in His Time if it be His Will then, so be it. In the mean time, when those feeling arise we will humble ourselves before the Lord. If we are shown that we are holding on to things, things that are His to have. Well, we ask for forgiveness, thank Him for showing us, and for the strength not to do that again. At the same time the Spirit will open our eyes, the Spirit will show us what we need to do. God does not ask us for things that we are unable to do. As we see we are failing in an area, then the Spirit can at that time show us, what we need to do. To receive we must know there is a need. This was longer but, as it began to go into two different directions I decided to break them up. Some of this may appear in the next part that is why. In this let us offer all the Glory to God, give Jesus the Praise and Honor. We will leave ourselves open the the Spirit and, learn how best to offer Praise, Honor and Glory to the Lord. Please, let me know what you think, I would like to discuss this and get your feeling on what I have shared.

Maybe to clarify what I was saying. I don't believe we should be lead by emotions. But, when they come' when we feel a certain way. We should Pray and allow the Spirit to show us why. Then we can be led by Wisdom, not the feeling. For some who are just learning how to listen to the Spirit. This is a way they can learn how to deal with feelings, instead of feeling bad or worthless because of them. I agree we must be led by God in all things. He made us so that we do have feelings, I think it is important to learn what to do with them. Instead of, trying to turn them off and not feel. This is a way to learn how to follow that inner compass. Thank you Sister for sharing.
Yes, Amen Sister. Elaine what a wonderful thing to work in agreement, with others in the Body of Christ. I trusted that we were on the same page. Thank you for the confirmation. It is not that I want everyone to agree with just me in this group. I want us ALL to work, fellowship, and grow together in harmony; agreement with one another. All of course to His Glory and Honor. I like everything you shared. It is the last sentence that sums much up, " Wisdom I believe is more powerful then emotion." As we all seek Wisdom, again not for our Glory, but His. Yet, as we do this we receive much benefit, in all that we do.
