Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Please pray for me,

Controversy has hit our church. I am a member of St John's, Polegate, which is Church of England. The Church of England is part of the worldwide Anglican Church. I believe in America and Canada it is also known as the Episcopal Church.
Big discussions are going on at every level because things that have never been resolved in the past are now surfacing and are tearing the Church apart.
I am finding myself severely affected by this this week and need to hear what the Lord is saying to me at this time and to find His help.

One reason why it is affecting me so badly is because I strongly believe that being an active member of a Church, and finding mutual encouragement and help in the fellowship of the Church is the will of God. What happens though when it all starts to fall apart?

Yours in the love of Christ Jesus,

Derek Hill

Please pray for me Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Thank you. God Bless, Carla

I am impressed and blessed by JB's simple and faith-charged announcement about his Dad's death - "He went to heaven." This is the true faith we must have and profess in the reality of salvation in Christ.

God has a given us such a gracious privilege to come to Him in prayer. A Scripture passage that inspires me is in Hebrews 4:15-16 : "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

God invites us to come to Him at His throne of grace - His place of supreme authority and power yet of unconditional favor; not to be judged or rewarded even, but to obtain mercy and find grace according to our needs; and in the interceding presence of Jesus as our understanding and empathetic High priest. Wonderful!

Please pray for me.

Please pray for my husband, Steve. He needs prayers for his job and he wants/needs to quit smoking. He is a good husband and has been a blessing in my life. He loves Jesus and is trusting Him in all things. Thank you. God bless you!

I am glad to be a member of the prayer room. The Bible tells us that the effectual fervent prayer of a faithful man availeth much. Let us faithfully pray as requested daily. I know God answers prayer.
