Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Yes, Tina, we will be praying for Bruce. Wally gave some good practical advise how you can help him spiritually and support him at this time. Usually, stroke victims are very emotional and sometimes confused. Reach out to him with the Christ in you. We'll be standing with you.
Jesse, I appreciate your concern for your brother. And we are joining you in prayer for him. Just let Him see and experience, when the opportunity arises, the Christ life and personality in you. It is the Spirit that will draw him to Christ and bring him into the Body of Christ from the sect he has joined himself to seeking the love and fellowship that only true Christians can give.

Thank you Tina for sharing your need for prayer for Bruce. Be assured that many will be praying for him and for you as you try to administer to his physical and spiritual needs. Does the nursing home have a chaplain, if so I would suggest speaking to him/her, or a local pastor. Some booklets and Bible resources may also be good for your brother if he is able to read them. If not maybe you could spend time reading to him and sharing God's plan with him. You both will certainly be in my prayers. Wally

I would appreciate prayer for my brother Bruce. He had a stroke last July and is in a nursing home. He is in his 50's and is not saved. Thanks to all.

Well, we are all relieved, Nienie. Whatever, the Holy Spirit knew you needed our prayerful attention at that time. And I believe God gave some wonderful answers. We will continue to pray for you as you and your family resettle in a new environment.

My dear and special friend, thank you for your prayers! Everything is now happening very fast in my life. The man who offered me the position aagian with him was just away for the holiday season and in an area where there were no signal so i could reach him by sms. I surely have a job and he took me to look for a place to stay today and will be moving to the new place on friday (if in Gods will) For i have to get my son into a new school and start working on monday!! I am just worried about relocating costs but as God answered everything HE will surely come through for me in all areas!! Thanks so much for your prayers and loving support,I can thank God everyday for blessing me with wonderful friends!!
So for a few days i wil not be on the net due to the moving but soon wiil be back. Will miss you in the meantime!

I would like to request prayer for my brother as he has a violent temper, and I personally believe he has many detrimental issues going on inside of him from childhood into adulthood. He is well aware of Jesus Christ, but is involved within a sect that has a number of predjudices towards some church denominations, and racial. I pray that he will be taken away from the sect and get into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Praying with you in this situation.
First thing is to give yourself and your children security. Can you cancel your resignation? If so do this. Then let the new job offer be taken care of by the Lord.
But whatever happens, you and your children are in the Hands of the Lord Jesus. Trust in Him, and He will do it. He will bring into being the answer to your need right now.

Niene, we are praying for you. It's like being thrown from your raft. The Lord will carry you through. Oh Lord, give our sister the deep inspiration of faith and hope she needs in this dispairing situation. We know You will not let her go under. But You know, Lord, from her perpective in that situation, as it usually is with us all in similar situations, we cannot but see the real dark cloud before us. Have mercy on her and give her grace in her present time of need. Amen.
Psalms 61:1-2: "Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

dear friends
i need you to add me to your prayer list regarding the following problem;
i was contacted by my previous boss early in December regarding a job offer. It was good( he offered me a bigger salary, he will pay all fees regarding my moving and carry the cost of my rent, and a car could be part of the package after a few months) and the fact that I know him, made it easier for me to make a decision. So i resigned from my job that i had in order to start working for him this year. But since that day we had the interview i never heard of him again... he doesnt return my call or my sms...this is not how I know him for i worked for him for 4 years.. but i cant get hold of him... this leaves me in a awkward position for i resigned,now it leaves me with no income and soon no place to stay if i have no income.
I thought it was the right decision to make for i want only for my kids to have a better life and now nothing seems right?????For so long I am holding on to Father to change my whole life and give us the blessings HE has instore for us, i can only rely and trust on HIm, but i am a bit discourage now.....
Will you please intercede with me?
