Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Yes, Lord. I thank you Father for the grace and strength you have given to Sam at this difficult time for her and her family. I thank you for keeping her focused on you. I know you will not disappoint her as she waits on you. Supply her needs and protect her daily from the evil one. Minister your mercy and grace to her husband, Steve. Cause your Spirit to melt his heart and fill him with your love that he may consider his family. Restore his soul and cause to return to you and his family. I ask you to keep him from harm and from harming others in this war. Blessed be your name, Father. Let your name be magnified in this situation, in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I pause now in your presence to pray for Sam and and thank you for her commitment to you. Bless her greatly with your love and grace during this time in her life. Give her the encouragement she needs as she walks through this valley, let her know that whatever the circumstances you are with her. May she have peace in her life and know that you are her source of strength. I pray for Steve Lord, for both his salvation from harm while in Iraq and salvation for his wandering soul. Reveal to him Father the way back to you, you are the God of miracles and I know that you can work one in the life of Steve and in the marriage of he and Sam. I pray that he would turn back to you, confessing his sin and giving you complete control of his life. Reveal to him the joy of life with you. Father it is by the power of the Spirit and in the name of our Savior Jesus that I lift these requests up to you. Amen with Joy.

Please pray for my family, after being seperated and still having been given no reason as to why my husband left he has now gone to Iraq leaving behind complete devestation to our family which he is completely unaware of and denial of the whole situation. God is doing the most amazing works in me and i can't tell you what a difference God has made to me and by putting my trust in him life is settling again.I pray that the Lord keeps Steve safe and that he softens steven hardened heart whilist away and God willing returns safe. I pray that Steve finds salvation in this difficult war and he will do mighty things for the glory of Gods kingdom. So please pray along side with me.
In Jesus thank you
Sam

Our Father in heaven who is mighty in power and clothed in majesty, how we all love You and adore You and accept Your love to us, we all join O God together with Janet and in faith we agree that You are giving her right now as she join her faith with us, You are giving her joy unspeakable and full of Glory, peace that passes all understanding, we declare Father that these are her inheretance, for You are her Father and she is Your child. God we thank you in advance for this precious baby that is coming to this world soon, we pray Father to bless this child and consecrate him or her to you, put Your hands of protection on this child and give Janet years and years of loving and teaching her granchild Your ways, and we thank You Lord for the hope You put in us when we lose a loved one, that it is not over but we will see them again. We love You God and we thank You for being who You are, immanuel our God is with us and if You are with us who can be against us, We praise You Lord and in Your name alone we pray.

Thanks for this encouragement to intercede, Wally.

In fact, this is the primary work of Jesus in the presence of God. "Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them" (Hebrews 7:25).

In terms of intercession being incense before God, here are some Scripture passages which tell us of that:
Revelation 5:8: "Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints."

Revelation 8:3: "Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne."

Revelation 8:4: "And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand."

“Pray one for another.”- Jam_5:16

"As an encouragement cheerfully to offer intercessory prayer, remember that such prayer is the sweetest God ever hears, for the prayer of Christ is of this character. In all the incense which our Great High Priest now puts into the golden censer, there is not a single grain for himself. His intercession must be the most acceptable of all supplications-and the more like our prayer is to Christ’s, the sweeter it will be; thus while petitions for ourselves will be accepted, our pleadings for others, having in them more of the fruits of the Spirit, more love, more faith, more brotherly kindness, will be, through the precious merits of Jesus, the sweetest oblation that we can offer to God, the very fat of our sacrifice. Remember, again, that intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. What wonders it has wrought! The Word of God teems with its marvellous deeds. Believer, thou hast a mighty engine in thy hand, use it well, use it constantly, use it with faith, and thou shalt surely be a benefactor to thy brethren. When thou hast the King’s ear, speak to him for the suffering members of his body. When thou art favoured to draw very near to his throne, and the King saith to thee, “Ask, and I will give thee what thou wilt,” let thy petitions be, not for thyself alone, but for the many who need his aid. If thou hast grace at all, and art not an intercessor, that grace must be small as a grain of mustard seed. Thou hast just enough grace to float thy soul clear from the quicksand, but thou hast no deep floods of grace, or else thou wouldst carry in thy joyous bark a weighty cargo of the wants of others, and thou wouldst bring back from thy Lord, for them, rich blessings which but for thee they might not have obtained:-" Spurgeon

“Oh, let my hands forget their skill,
My tongue be silent, cold, and still,
This bounding heart forget to beat,
If I forget the mercy-seat!”

Thank you Janet, your faith and committment to our Lord is awe-inspiring. I pray with you for your daughter and her child. I will also be praying for you specifically, during the next several days especially, for a continued strength and comfort for you from our Father and with the continued realization that you have many Christian friends here on whom you can lean as well. I know through your sadness at the absence of your husband during this joyous time of new birth that our Father will shower you with His special blessings and a sense of comfort and peace through the presence of His Spirit that lives in you. Love thorough our Lord Jesus, Wally

Our Father, we thank you for the opportunity to bring this dear godly widow to you. We know you understand the aching of her heart as she missed her departed husband. You have even declared You are a husband to the widow and a Father to the fatherless. Therefore, we know you are reaching out with comfort and peace and love to Janet. Help her to condidently rest in your loving arms and draw from you the peace and joy she needs at this time.

We thank you for the new babe you are bringing into Janet's family through her daughter. Impart your blessings of health into this baby now and bring him safely out of the womb when that time comes. Bless his parents, as well as Janet, his grandmother, with all the grace they need to minister to this child that he may grow up to accomplish your purpose. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Thanks, Lord.

I would like to deliver praise to the Lord for all the people here who offer up their love in prayer for the sake of others. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to become a part of this compassionate community of faith holders. My friends here are so true in their empathy and in their heartfelt offerings of love. Thank you Jesus for all you do for those of us that call upon your name for wisdom, strength, comfort, joy, encouragment, and good will. Praise and Glory!

Father, I ask you to provide spiritual shelter to all who worship you here. Bring peace onto Austin as he faithfully acknowledges your presence. Also, Father, help J. to see her missed fortunes by what she has fallen into. Lord, humble her sweet soul and allow her to understand that she need not subject her self to such disgrace. Provide J. with the reasurance that You will be her comforter and love her in a way that no adulterous partner can. Thank you precious Jesus! I pray this in your mighty and holy name, Jesus. Thank you, and to you be the glory! Amen.

Amen. Father, in agreement with Wally and others praying for the young woman, J., I too pray that the Holy Spirit would move upon her and convict her of her sinfulness and the heartaches she is causing to the wife and children of the man with whom she is in this adulterous affair. Set her free, Lord. You did it to the woman found in the act of adultery and was brought to You. So, deliver J., dear Lord, and turn her to You. Also turn the heart of this man who is also in this adulterous relationship with J. back to his wife and family. Convict him of his sins and cause his heart to yearn for his own wife and children so that he would just pack and leave J. and return to his marriage home. I praise You, Lord. I praise You, Lord. I praise YOU, Lord. You came to deliver sinners. Deliver these two, dear Lord. Amen and Amen.
