Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Heavenly Father at times we do not know how to pray as we ought, but we bring Yoli to you that your love and peace will encompass her as she goes through this moment of pain. May your peace that passes all understanding keep her heart and mind. Amen

Father, time and again, you demonstrate that You work in mysterious ways to perform your wonders. Cause us to trust and believe in every situation that You are in control because You are always in control. Job in a time a great loss worshipped You with these amazing words - God gives and God takes away; Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Comfort Yoli and her deceased husband's family and friends. Cause Yoli to enter into your comfort and peace and to yield her life completely to You as she faces the sudden situation that confronts her with the tragic death of her husband. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

A MESSAGE and a prayer need at the end

There was a man who one day got up from his couch and walked out upon his rooftop, and as he was gazing about his human eyes caught vision of a very beautiful and desirous woman that was washing herself. Well, with human nature hard at work within his thoughts, what he really wanted was to just to have sex with her. Now she was a married woman, and her husband was away on the battle field in a war for the kingdom that she lived in. So he sent for her, and she came to him, and once together, they had their private time with sex even though she was committing adultery, and he knew it. Shortly thereafter she informed the man that she was pregnant with his seed. So what happens next is that her husband is sent for with a message saying to return from the war and come to him. The man was king David, the woman was Bath-sheba, and the man was Uriah, her husband. When Uriah came to David as he had requested, David asked him some simple questions regarding the war, and than said to him. . .”go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king’s house, and there followed him a mess of meat (a gift from the king). But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house and did not go home. Now David wanting Uriah to lay with his wife and have sex with her to cover his sin attempted again and again to get Uriah home with Bath-sheba, but he would not go for reasons that you can understand by reading with prayer chapter 11 of 2 Samuel. So what was David to do? And how was he going to cover and hide his sin? David wrote a letter saying. “Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.”
Now did you get that? David had sex with the wife of one of his men at war, then he connived a way to cover his tracks by getting her own husband to return from the battle and have sex with her. When that idea failed, he committed premeditated murder by writing a letter that he would himself (Uriah) deliver, only to get himself killed.

Now let’s read an interesting verse in Acts that will be apart of teaching you some very important truths of God.

In Chapter 13, verse 22 the words read “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.

There is a very powerful lesson for all to learn just from this one of many instances in the Life of David. So what happened next?

After time had passed, and David had no thoughts or sorrows for the awful things that he had done, the Lord sent Nathan unto David to tell him a story.

Now that story was a parable, and perhaps one of the most interesting parables in the Bible. When Nathan came to the unsuspecting David, he began to tell him a seemingly very harmless story about a rich man and a poor man living in the same city. You really need to read this story for yourself in 2 Samuel 1-4 with a prayerful and humble attitude so that God can deeply plant it’s meaning deep within your heart. The man that was telling this short story was living dangerous when he just grabbed a moment to confront the recent past of the most famous king of Israel. The whole plan of God through Nathan was to get inside of David’s mind of self deception and moral blindness and to cut the cords of the demonic powers holding him in blindness. Just as all things that God does, it was done well because David became loud with moral outrage . . . and all that his anger was doing was condemning himself. Nathan then applied the parable to the kings affair with Bathsheba.

If you continue reading you will find David’s repentance, God’s anger, and his punishment. Psalms 51 is also very educational for how our hearts need to be in the eyes of God.

So after all that, why was David still a man after God’s own heart?

Because David had faith!!! Great faith!! Read these words of great meaning in Hebrews 11:6.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarded of them that diligently seek him.”

So how had David shown God his true faith? Out of more examples than most even know, let us look at before, up too, and after his show-down with Goliath.

First of all you need to try your best to get a vision of Goliath. Let’s take a gander at the words in 1 Samuel, chapter 17, starting with verse 4.

“And there went a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.”

Now a cubit is 1 ft and 5 inches multiplied by six equals 8ft 6 inches. Add to that one span which is about 9 more inches, you have one big bad dude to mess with that stands close to 9 feet and 3 inches tall, and covered with more bras, a shield, coat of mail, a spear and just enough items to make a whole separate writing just on his appearance. The pure fact of the matter is found in verse 24 that says . . .

And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid. Please for yourself read on to verse 31 as we come in verse 32 too just how powerful, deep, and true David’s faith was.

“And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servent will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he is a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his fathers sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.

Now I ask you my brethren, is what David said from his heart not true and genuine faith that we should all pray for? Anyone been walking on the water lately? As personal as these next words may be to me, I feel that by God’s lead I must share them with you.

In my special and deep prayers to God every evening, this is just one of my many prayers after lifting Him most high as creator of all things seen and unseen.

Oh Lord, hear my prayer, and give ear to my supplications, and in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

Please give me more faith than any man has ever had since the creation of mankind. Allow me to walk on the water, heal the sick, touch broken hearts, and too feed multi millions while glorifying you and preaching your message of the world tomorrow and your kingdom to soon come with no more of the hurts and evils in the world that is at this time. And being that you know my heart is fastened on only you as my life’s priority, I humbly ask you to make me one of your two witnesses in Revelation 11 that is willing to give his life only to glorify you.

As far as what we covered on David, there is much to be learned. Satan was around then, and he still is now, and even more evil because he knows that his time left as God of this world is short. Therefore, the more that you love God, and are not as Isaiah writes in 29:13 . . .

“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men.”

The more that Satan will brutally attack you, which is why in Ephesians 6 read “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. . . . .

May God Abundantly Bless All Whom Have a Heart After God’s Own Heart. . . .

Your Brother in Christ,

Jeff

Father God, our God who can make all things new, we come Father and place Yoli's marriage right on the altar before you, we ask you God to control all the elements and the interferences that love to destroy their marriage and we declare God your word that is above every word that what you join no man can seperate, we ask that you turn Yoli's husband heart to his wife once and for all and that she will do the same, we come against the accuser of the brethren and we bind him and cast him away from both of them. Father we love you and adore you and declare that you are able to do anything and all things become new once you put Your hands on it and this we pray in the precious name of Jesus.

Father, I agree fully with Carla in beseeching You about Yoli's marriage. You declared no one can separate two whom you have joined together in marriage. We are therefore looking to You for your intervention in healing this marriage by working in the hearts of both Yoli and her husband. Strengthen Yoli's faith and give her confidence as she patiently waits on you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I lift up Yoli and her husband to you Lord. I pray that you would strengthen them in their commitment to eachother, and create a desire in both of them to want to work out their differences, and to submit to eachother, and be obedient to You Lord and Your Leading by the Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, soften their hearts. I also pray that you would comfort them with your peace which surpasses all understanding Lord. Please heal their marriage as they submit to You. Thank you Father. I pray this in Jesus Precious name. Amen!

Father, I pray for your servant, Duncan. As he said there is a wall before him that only You can pull down. Father, this is a great opportunity for him to realize that as your servant there is nothing he can and is expected to do of himself in Your work. Without You we can do nothing. But through You he can do all things. As he faces this wall and look helplessly to You, show him the glory of your grace and remove the wall or take him through it or cause him to jump over it - whatever is your will, Lord. Cause him to triumph. In Jesus name, I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.
