Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Hi Susan! You bet I listened as I read your cry for understanding and love. Sometimes, circumstances just seem so unfair to us. It has not been always a pleasant road for you, especially in relation to those from whom you expect support. And now, it is certainly not easy to avoid anxiety in the present economic crisis with you and your husband being unemployed.

But you know, the Spirit impressed me if I can feel so concerned about your situation, how much more is God. I felt assured the Lord is with you and your husband in all of this. And He will see you through. He will not let you go under. He will prove Himself faithful and undertake for you just at the right time.

God is your Father. Jesus said to us not to worry concerning our earthly needs because our heavenly Father knows what our needs are. Just rest in the assurance that God, who is able and willing to supply your needs and loves you as a Father, knows your needs and will take care of you like a Father takes care of His children.

I am praying for you and your husband. Problems and trials are not pleasant but it is clear that the Lord chooses to take all His children through adverse experiences for our good. One day we will understand it all and appreciate those difficult times He took us through.

Keep looking to God. Don't cease praying and trusting God. Keep in touch with us on this site. Human love may fail. But I can assure that the love of God in the hearts of His children is genuine and lasting. And I know there are many of us God's children who care for you and pray for you on this site.

David must have felt like you feel now when he prayed this prayer in Psalms 143:7-8:
7: Answer me speedily, O Lord; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
8: Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.

God will hear and answer. Amen.

Thankyou for explaining how god works. I understand i need to have faith
i do but it is so hard. I feel i need to be assured things are going to get
better.I do not want to lose my house the economy is so bad right now.
My husband went for a job interview 2 weeks ago i kept praying to god
that he would get the job. He got a letter from the company today telling
him they filled the position. I used to work at rite aid but i quit after 2
and a half years. I was a cashier and the other employee's all treated
me like i wasn't even there unless they wanted me to pick up lunch
or they would borrow money from me and i alway's gave it to them
and you know why because i thought they would like me. i always
had to buy my friends and to this day i am still hurting about it.
My doctor knows i have depression she is trying hard to help me
sometimes i feel like i am getting better then back to my old
self again. I can't go to my family for support as they are all angry
with me. They all wanted me to throw my husband in jail because
he made a big mistake but he is trying to look for a new job so he
can make it better. when do i get to take control of my own life
without them telling me what i should do. Don't get me wrong i love
them but i want to be loved back and sometimes i don't feel that way.
My older sister say's she feel's she is taking the place of my dad.
that he would want her to help me.I am 45 she is 46 she is so
strong I am so week.I was a sped student so i am not strong in
some area's. I often think to myself why am i here for what purpose?
I often cry myself to sleep.I need to find work i can do at home at my
own pace without anyone yelling at me. oh well i need to say goodnite
but before i leave thankyou so very much for listening and helping me.
God Bless You.........your friend susan

Susan, the unique and amazing thing about Christianity is that it is a life to be lived by faith and not by sight. This means that we are to relate with God in complete trust that He exists and is what He declares He is in the Bible, and He does what He has promised to do. This is faith and it is the way we are to relate with God, particularly so, because God is Spirit and is invisible to our natural eyes, unhearable to our natural ears, untouchable to our natural feeling, and so on. We cannot relate to God by our natural senses, which we use to relate to one another and other earthly creatures and things. So God has given us the faculty or "extra sense" called faith. He gives it to all of us who are His children and must relate with Him. Just as He creates earthly creatures with the five natural senses to relate with their earthly environment, when we are born again into spiritual beings as God's children we are born again with the faculty to faith to relate with the spiritual realm. It is for you and me to exercise faith in our relationship with God or "live by faith."

Here are some Scripture passages:
Hebrews 11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
2 Corinthians 5:7: For we walk by faith, not by sight.
1 Corinthians 2:14: But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10:
9: But as it is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard," nor has it entered into the heart of man, "the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
10: But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
Romans 12:3: For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

So we must walk by faith, trusting God, and the Holy Spirit reveals to us or makes real to us the things of God in the spiritual realm.

Now concerning your Father commmunicating with you, it is not likely the Lord permits that, according to a story Jesus gave in the Gospel (Luke 16:19-31). A rich man who had died and found himslef in hell wanted a poor man, Lazarus, who also had died but was now with Abraham in glory, to go and warn his relatives to live righteously that they may not end up in hell like he did. Abraham's reply was that it was not possible but they had sufficient prophets and teachers on earth to teach them and guide them in the way of the Lord. If your Dad could really talk to you he would certainly say to you, knowing what he knows now, that you should listen to the Spirit of God and read the Bible and consult with ministers of God around you. Because He knows God will use them to teach you and guide you well in all things.

God bless you.

Hi I am not sure i am doing this right it always say's someone has left me a
message and most of the time i can't find them. well it is midnight and i am
getting tired.but before i go i need to ask a question how do you know if god
listens to our prayers? I wish i could see him or hear him. something else
my father has passed away 4 years ago and i never see him in my dreams
does that mean anything? Like he is angry with me? I just need to here him
say he loves me. my life has changed drastically since he passed away he
was a very loving father. and even a better grandfather. I could always talk
to him. I tell jesus all the time to tell my dad i say hello and i love and miss
him. thanks for listening..... susan

Our heavenly Father, how awesome is your name, I come in agreement with Your Word Father God, I come in agreement with You that You want to bless Felix and heal him completely, You died on the cross and shed Your blood for him, You paid the price for Felix on the cross, I ask You Father to bless his soul with peace that passes all understanding and joy unspeakable and full of glory, fill his mind with godly rest that You alone can give, I ask You Father to remove any anxieties or worries of any kind away from Felix your son,and thank you for declaring him righteous in Your eyes because of the blood of Jesus and this in Jesus name I pray.
