Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

i found this prayer request of Rev. Anthony Ray Smith Sr., one our brothers here in his page and i want to ask your prayers for his son Bryan. here is the prayer request -
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I come to you for prayer, for my son Bryan. He has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and yesterday was advised that he had 9 months to live. I know that, if it is the Lords will he can be cured by God. But as the Bible states, "it is better that the body be destroyed that the soul might be saved."
My son is lost and needs prayer for his salvation. Please pray for him. Thank you all.

Okay so here is the thing I am starting school next week so I have desided what a great time to go ventrue and travel I been asking for a husband and god has really put on my heart that its not exactlly time for that to happen so while I am single this is the time to travel so I want to go to london where I have always wanted to go for sometime.....I have been searching and searching for ways to make this extra money the job market isent exacttly wonderful at this time....so my prayer is this I need 3,500 exactlly by October 1st that is my goal.

I was looking were to post a prayer request, I may have posted it in the wrong place, I hope it is okay to ask here also.
I am asking for prayer, I know there are so many people in need but if anyone feels they should pray for my family it would be appreciated.
My husband lost his job around 3 months ago. He is disabled but hasn't worked long enough to get SS because he couldn't work for years after breaking his back.
The problem isn't just that we may lose our home, but that he is so depressed and doesn't know Jesus.
He’s isn't a Christian and is VERY against Christians to the point of verbal and emotional abuse to myself and the kids. (he is also manic depressant) I have found he will not hurt us physically because I am stronger because of his accident but he is so hurtful, the kids ask me to take them and leave... but God has not shone that to me, so I stay and pray. But prayer has been so hard for me since my oldest son died of cancer.... my prayers for his recovery were not answered as I wished... for God had a different plan.
I realize that prayer is a tool God uses to help us grow and become in line with his will.
My heart has been hurt so many times that it feels my prayers are useless. My heart hurts so much. I know God loves me and wants the best… I need to rest in that… it’s just so hard.
We moved 2 years ago from the place I lived 30 years so I haven’t close friends here… there are friends but no one that I feel I can open up to. I just feel so alone.
