Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Father open a way for Your word to get through. I ask that Your word has free course in EG. Please give the missions team open doors to minister and speak Your word. Strengthen and energize the members of the team. Guide the team as they help those in need. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Comment by Leni Racca on September 15, 2009 at 6:04pm: I thank God for this glorious day,it's so sunny!The storm just left the country w/ so much debris all around but we can't keep being happy because the sun has risen flooding the earth w/ sunshine.I'm praying for some of my countrymen who lost their homes and loved ones from the typhoon.Such a waste of lives.....but the Lord knows all.Everyday is a blessing...........I'm also praying for all AAG members.God bless you all my friends in the Lord.

By Way of Remembrance

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Do you know that when we dwell on the wrong things, it affects our moods? We get down, discouraged, and lose our hope. Some people today don't have the joy and the enthusiasm God wants them to have because they are constantly dwelling on negative things.

But if we want to be in the position to take hold of all that God has in store for us, we have to stir ourselves up by changing our thinking. Instead of dwelling on and remembering all the bad things that have happened in life, you have to remember all the good things God has done for you. Every time you give God praise, every time you sing a song of victory, you are acknowledging and remembering His goodness. You are causing your mind to focus on what He's done for you. And, I'm convinced one reason the scripture tells us to bless the Lord at all times is because you can't praise and complain at the same time!

I encourage you today, stay proactive. Don't become passive in your thought life. Don't let your guard down. Keep stirring yourself up by remembering His faithfulness and watch what He will do on your behalf!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

"Father in heaven, today I choose to keep my mind focused on Your goodness. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and loving-kindness. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus so that I can live in victory. I bless and praise You today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Jesus, our family of Christ need your divine help and intervention this morning. There's my dear Sister, Leni, whose son needs your wisdom and closeness this morning for an assessment for a new job, and we are claiming that job for him in Jesus' Holy Name, God!!! We thank you for the job and his faithfulness to it. We pray for Con's mission team to Equatorial Guinea in November, Jesus! We believe you had this Divine Appointment with the Missions Team, Jesus, and that You have gone ahead and prepared the Way for them! Father, we claim your protection over this team, in Jesus Name...and that by Your Holy Blood, they will overcome all obstacles the adversary might put on their way!! We ask, Heavenly Father, that they be delivered from their illnesses in the Name of Jesus!! Your Word says in Psal 30:2 that you heal our bodies, and we claim that and say Amen to your promise of healing!! Thank you Father, we answering our prayers!!!
