Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Lord I pray for Carols husband that the chains that bind him to a substance that cannot help but only make matters worse.  I pray that he finds strength and comfort in you and your word.  I know that times are hard and sometime drinking can numb the pain and make you or even me forget our worries but they never go away..In the morning when we wake up they are still there.

I feel for this man or any other person that needs something to make them forget for even a moment.  I honestly pray for peace in all our hearts love in all our lives and hope.  Hope for we know that God keeps all his promices...Lord hear all our prayers pull uptogether united by the blood of Christ and the power of his reserection.

In Jesus name I pray..Amen

Nothing is Impossible with God
By Os Hillman
February 8

"For nothing is impossible with God" (Luke 1:37).

I walked into the doctor's office for my pre-opt visit. The doctor came in and told me all about my procedure of arthroscopic knee surgery.

"So, doc. I have been told this is pretty routine. If that is the case, I have a golf outing I am responsible for that is four days after the surgery. Is there any chance I would be able to play golf that soon?" I asked. "Not a chance," the doctor responded. "You need to let go of that idea. You will definitely not be able to play golf four days after surgery. It may be minor, but it is still surgery." I was disappointed, but I had resigned myself that I may have to host the event for my friend's 50th surprise birthday celebration as a spectator. Nevertheless, having no shame, I prayed anyway that God would let me play.

My day of surgery came and when I awoke I was given my crutches and greeted in the recovery room by my wife. "How are you doing?" she asked. "I feel groggy, but pretty good." About thirty minutes later, she wheeled me out to the car and I used the crutches to get in the car. The next day I noticed I had no soreness or discomfort. I questioned whether I had even had surgery. But the three incisions and photographs assured me it had taken place.

By that afternoon, I could put all my weight on my right leg without discomfort. I put away the crutches and began walking unaided. The doctor called from the hospital to inquire about my progress. Angie answered the phone. "Is he supposed to have soreness and pain from this procedure?" she inquired. "Oh, yes. He should be pretty sore and experience some pain," said the doctor. "Well," she said. "He has no pain and no soreness. He is walking like he has never had surgery!" "That is hard to believe," said the doctor. "In fact, that is incredible!"

The next day, I could go up and down steps with full weight on my right knee. Then, only four days after surgery--I played 18 holes of golf for my friend's 50th birthday celebration. The day after the golf outing, I awoke with no soreness and no pain.

Do you need something special from God? "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Phil 4:6-7).

Nothing is impossible through God!

Dear Lord I pray for all the prayer requests in this site.Though I dont have much time in the internet cafe to read it , I have read these in my mobile. I pray especially for Karla's husband to get out of alcohol. If there is a deaddiction center needed help him to get admitted in one of those since my dad was cured in that way.

Lord I pray also for Egypt and the situations there. Help your people to preach the Gospel without fear. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen

Father, we ask on behalf of Karla to grant that in her life that which you desire for us. You want us to have fellowship with our brothers and sisters. You are glorified in our gathers. I pray that You lead Karla to that place that needs her in order for them to be complete in You. May she be a blessing to others. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Amen, Father. Grant this man victory over this disease. Restore him to his family. Sustain Carol through this time and if there are children sustain them as well. May Your Name be praised through the answer of this prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen.
