Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Father, I pray for the needs on this site - for those suffering from cancer, for the little boy, for the captured family, and for Jayaseelan to have clarity of mind for this very important project. Father, forgive us for our weaknesses. Help keep our eyes centered on You. We are so grateful to You for Your merciful plan. I praise You this day for Your kindness and mercy. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Dear Saints,
Thanks for all your prayers. Today I am planning to stay awake at night & finish some translation work. This week I am planning to gather some people for the Mobile school Project for street children. I am keeping all my plans in God's feet. Please do pray for this.
With Love,
Your brother in Christ,
Jayaseelan Samuel

I am wondering if anyone has heard any news about Zoey and how are Elizabeth and Kenny doing?

It is very sad thing. But nothing happened without the knowledge of our Lord. His hand is mighty to protect them from every harms. Let us pray for them. Our Lord will do righteous things at right time. Lord will do justice for his servants and their families. If we try to brought them to justice then the Lord can do nothing on this case. His name has to be blessed in this matter.

This is what Paul was doing from his prison in Rome when he wrote to the church at Philippi. He was reaching out to those who were an extension of his own life. He kept in tough with them  and  supported them with his love and prayers. Their fruitful lives were a source of great joy to him. But Paul also counted on the churches he birthed to pray for him. “Ye also helping together by prayer for us…” (2 Cor 1:11). The biblical pattern is one we should follow. We are to pray faithfully for our missionaries - our “sent out” one. Your prayer can change histories and establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

Janet,

These missionaries were Americans killed by the Somali pirates last month. They were sailing around in a yacht full of Bibles with the intention of handing them out to different people. I did not personally know them. Now, this family has been captured and threatened to be killed. I pray that these pirates are brought to justice and that their killing spree is ended.

Lord,

We have just had some Bible missionaries murdered by pirates. I pray for these people's deliverance. I pray that these pirates be captured and punished by the law. I also pray that they are able to hear the Gospel. In Jesus Name.

My brother's son was a premature baby who was kept in incubator for 20 days but now he is a healthy 1 and half year boy. I pray for zoey and her parents let Your healing & comforting hand be with them. Also I pray for my friend who has put her request here for a job. God provide her needs. Amen

Father,

As a father to a couple of premature twins, I know this feeling very well. I pray You will be with this couple and Zoey in that delivery room. Keep this little one safe. In Jesus Name. Also, comfort Dimakatso in her job situation. I know You have her best in mind. Give her direction as she grows in You. Show her Your love through this test. In Jesus Name. Thank You, Father, for Your love and guidance. I praise You this day for being in charge of our lives.

GREAT THOUGHT TO PONDER ARE YOU LETTING satan PLAY WITH YOUR EMOTIONS
Take Charge of Your Emotions

Take Charge of Your Emotions

The danger of failing to manage your emotions is enormous. If you respond to a slight (real or imagined) negatively, it is possible not only to turn a friend into an enemy, but also to damage your own soul—and body. Even storing “bad” things in memory and recounting them can harm your health.

Of course, the rewards of self-control are also spiritual and eternal. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever” (1 Corinthians 9:25). And Ecclesiastes 7:9 warns us, “Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.”

The good news is that it is possible for you to change your habits and control your emotions, regardless of how deeply embedded those habits may be.
· Watch out for negative feelings such as fear, anger, worry, resentment, and jealousy—and refuse to give in to them. Concentrate on the positive emotions and attitudes of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, humility, and self-control (Galatians 5:22).
· When you do become angry or tense, do something to distract  yourself. Go for a walk or run. Listen to soothing music. Do some deep breathing exercises. Relax. Cool down!
· Use the resources of your faith. Keep a Bible close by. And, remember, prayer works for every mood.
· Mentally picture the advantages of being in control of your emotions. Then, with God’s help, start being in control!
