Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words. I just talked with my stepfather and he said mom was starting to catch a cold. She was asleep again and said the nurse would be there Tuesday but he had her on some over the counter cold medicine but she had a little congestion. I mentioned my feelings that I expressed to yall last night at church this morning and my pastor said the Lord immediately told him about my mom, "she's mine, she's always been mine and nothing will ever change that". Then I felt a peace flood over me. I just felt in my spirit it was the beginning of the end. Then when my stepfather told me what he did a few minutes ago that was a confirmation to me. Please continue to lift up my stepfather. Thank you all for being my family.

Joye, you have uplifted my heart with your words so many times. I just pray that God would reach down right now and refill your spirit and carry you through these hard times. We all need to be refreshed by the spirit everyday. You are so selfless as you give words of encouragement to anyone who needs them. May God Bless you today and always and give you back that feeling of peace and lightness that only He can give. Amen.

I am in agreement. Father, I ask for peace and comfort for the people of Nigeria. I ask for Bibles, clean water and food. Lord, you know their needs more than I do. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I feel rather bad for posting but you are my family and the ones I KNOW will sustain me in prayer. Over the last few weeks God has given me so many heart felt poems for so many people. I'm so grateful He would choose somebody like me to work through. However lately I've had a deep heaviness in my spirit. As wonderful as it has been to minister to hundreds of people I realized last night my need to be refreshed by the Holy Spirit. And all at once REALITY set in and I thought about my mom just sleeping her life away with no idea she's even in the world. Those of you who will I'd be grateful if you would pray for me. I hope this is not a selfish prayer. I just really need some encouragement. Thank you.
