Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

Hi Teresa,

I will lift you up to our Lord in prayer.  There are some immediate changes that you can make.  First of all, start going for walks.  Secondly, be very aware of your sodium intake.  I had heart surgery a couple of years ago (a congenital heart defect), and I had low blood pressure.  My cardiologist told me to increase my salt intake to increase my blood pressure.  It stands to reason that if salt increases blood pressure, those with high blood pressure should not be taking salt (or very much).  There are other changes you can make too.  Try to stay away from prepackaged food also...Our body's are not meant to withstand all those preservatives..and salt in excess.  Try to eat whole fresh foods...it's actually cheaper to eat that way anyway.  Here is a link that may help you:  http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/public/heart/hbp/hbp_low/hbp_low.pdf

I'm praying that you will be empowered and encouraged to make the changes you need to make.  Bless you Teresa.

Thank you for your prayers. It means so much. Please pray for Kim (work friend). He dad passed away last night. We're all very sad this morning. I ask for peace and comfort for Kim and family. Father, please send ministering angels to hug the whole family and we need some hugs here at work too. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Mary, we continue to lift you up in prayer. We also join you in prayer for Linda who has cancer. We are grateful to God for Jimmy's progress and continue to pray for further progress in his body.

I pray that Huzooma receives the happiness she is seeking. Thank You, Father, for healing us from our sin even though in some ways we still suffer from its terrible consequences. Your Word tells us that our present suffering cannot be compared with the glory that awaits us. Father, be with these in pain. In Jesus name.

Please continue to pray for me. I pulled a muscle in my back and stomach. And please pray for Linda. She has cancer and has been going through painful treatment. Also please pray for Jimmy's continued healing. I ask God for healing, and God you what everyone needs. I thank You Lord for taking care of it all, in Jesus' name.

Char...  God's arms are stretched across Eternity for you and around you.

Please remember...  in regards to talking to yourself..  If the words you are saying are not something you would say to your dearest friend then don't say them to yourself....don't allow yourself to talk to yourself like that either.   You are a dearly loved Child of the Most High Priest..  KING of kings and LORD of lords.  He created you for a purpose, and HE is already working things out for your good and His Glory.  He never sleeps.  Remember beloved..  we're not living for the blessing..  We're living for the Lord to be famous and Glorified.  :-)

**hugs** to you Char.

...and a true story...

A missionary friend of mine lives in Peru.  She runs an orphanage, is single, and has prayed to be married for many years...and month by month nearly runs out of money..barely making ends meet.  She has trouble paying the bills, and paying the staff.  The children she takes in have been battered and abused in ways that are beyond our comprehension..  truly stories that are heartbreaking.  She has prayed for companionship and encouragement for years...  that prayer is continually unanswered.  She has tried many ways of getting finances so that she is without financial strain---but the strain continues.  She continually cried out to God and asked 'why'.  She felt lacking in hugs...She felt so alone, and forgotten...taking care of these kids was taking it's toll on her.  After an incredibly long time God  simply told her...I am always with you.  If you need a hug, hug yourself, and know that it is me hugging you...  So she learned that each time she needed a hug...she was to hug herself, and she knew that it was God's arms embracing her.  We talked about it.. I said to her, I wonder if God is allowing this so that you will cry out to Him for companionship and trust that it is He who comforts you, and provides.  He doesn't want you to trust in people more than Him.  She said that sounds right...and that is what she was learning.  She continues to walk in faith...knowing she is in God's Will for her life.  The struggles continue...and many times only intensify.  This is sometimes what it means to walk in faith.  Don't ever be discouraged.  You are not alone.

Blessings, Carla
