Greetings Prayer Room Participants,

Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.

There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.

Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.

If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.

(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

Lord Bless,

LT

'Be still and know that I am God'...

He was, is and will always be our Lord and Saviour.  His ways are not like ours and He doesn't give up on His children.

Father, I know You never change, You are always with us in all our struggles.  May your will be done in our lives.  Amen!

Thank you Jesus.

O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. See how your enemies are astir, how your foes rear their heads. (Psalm 83:1-2)

 Psalm 83 ends with...

Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord—that you alone are the Most High over all the earth. (Psalm 83:18)

It may seem like God is silent on the persecution His people endures. He will not keep silent forever.

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. (Revelation 8:1-5)

I'm not saying we are at this point, but it merits consideration because it talks about silence and the prayers of the saints.

Love and God bless,

Mary

Amen to the prayers listed here today and yesterday. I am so thankful our God is big enough to answer every single one. We are so small and insignificant. Yet, God is so loving an forgiving. How many times have we failed Him. Father, thank You this day for loving us. Thank You for the great sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus, our loving Savior. Save our brothers and sisters all over this world that are suffering for Your Name. Thank You for every victory. In Jesus name.

Father, I continue to lift up Jay and his young friend Akash to You. I also continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria.

Chris, that is fine. Bless you, my brother.

It appears that the violence in Nigeria continues even though the new Christian president there is trying to bring it to a close. It appears that some of the 800 dead or so are Muslims as well as Christians. Father, we just pray that this violence comes to an end. Send this country the help it needs to get things in order and bring protection of its citizens. In Jesus name.

Lord Jesus, may you be glorified forever.  Thank you for your grace and mercy.  Thank you for all answered prayers.  I stand with the prayer warrious on the Net in prayer for the salvation of lost souls and forgiveness for those persecuting your children.  Father, change their hardened hearts and open their eyes to your saving grace.  I pray for strong faith for all christians in the world and in particular, those in Nigeria.  Give us strength to uphold our faith in you and renew our zeal to serve you through helping the needy, the broken hearted and the opprressed.

Thank you Lord that I can come to you in my trials and tribulation.  Fill me Lord with love for you and all my brothers and sisters.

I pray in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen

Roy I do Trust that it was OK to share and Pray this Prayer here.  You are so very Faithful to stand with others, I felt they would desire to stand with you.  As we the Body share one another's burdens.  And that really is, what it is all about.  As you know, and others need to learn.  One Body focused on One Thing.  Thank You Lord, that we begin to see just how Powerful, You are/can be through us.  All to Your Glory Jesus.

Thank you, Chris, for your prayers. I know God is with us and will help us through difficult times. I hesitate to ever mention needs since there are so many very great needs that are being mentioned. I pray that these that are facing death because of their faith will be greatly blessed and that their sacrifice will result in great victory for His Kingdom. In Jesus name.

Father in Jesus Name I come to You.  I lift up Roy and the needs of  his school. We know Lord, teaching our young of You and of Your Ways is, one of the most important things we can do.  We stretch out our Faith to meet Your Will. I Thank You that their needs are meet, and in so You Lord are Glorified.

Father I continue to lift up the need for protection of our Family around the world.  Let it be that the sound of our voice in Prayer, allows the Voices of Martyrs to be soft and silent.  In Jesus Holy Name, we give Thanks and Praise.

Dear Lord, I am here at your throne of grace once again, lifting up two special people to you; Amanda's friend and my sister-in-law. Father you know thier ailments and how to deal with them. I pray for divine healing for these two special women.  I know you are Mighty yet you are able to come down to our level to listen to our requests and provide for our needs.

Your wish is for us to be happy, so I pray that in your mercy, deliver them from whatever pain they are going through right now in JMN.

Amen and Amen.
