Greetings Prayer Room Participants,
Something has been brought to my attention that I need to address. It is our desire for this room to be a place to bring prayer requests and to ask for brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with us in our time of need. At the same time we need to be mindful of how we pray. By this, I mean that though we want to pray positively for others we need to be very careful regarding the language we use, especially when the request we are praying for involves another person who is part of the reason the prayer requests is being brought forth. We need to choose our words wisely and make sure that we are not digressing into a situation where we are name calling or accusing another of being of the devil.
There are number of factors I could go over, but think it not wise to give to much attention to negative actions and will simply encourage us to focus on the request and laying it before God without accusing another. For in any request our goal must always be a righteous outcome of which only God can know the exact answer that is needed in any situation.
Because this is a serious situation that can lead to other problems for individuals and TheNET our team will need to monitor the Prayer Room more closely and will need to remove remarks that appear to be derogatory.
If you see any comments that appear questionable please inform me immediately. You will stay anonymous and I will make the final judgment on the comment in question.
(NEW) Because this is an open group that is visible to the worldwide web we need to refrain from using names when praying for others without their permission.

John asked me to have u guys pray for a service that is taking place Thursday. It's a celebration of a sister's life that passed. They've had many fly in from the states & he wants everyone to arrive & return home safely. Also, strength for the families during this time.

Brother, there isn't a particular set time. Every breakthrough doesn't take fasting either. However, if that's what you believe the Lord is leading you to, then that's what you should do. I don't believe any of us can tell you that. Fasting means different things to different people. It is different in different Scriptures as well. You'll just have to seek Him in this. Is this breakthrough you're speaking of a job or just a Spiritual breakthrough if you don't mind me asking?

Amen Elaine. I'm sure the other son isn't involved but this has just been horrible. Can you imagine your twin brother taking you to show you the dead body of your daddy that he had killed? I mean, where would your loyalty lie? Sheesh, what a situation. Thank you everyone for the prayers. Though they aren't for myself, I know they help these families.

They haven't arrested the other son by the way, or haven't up to this point so I do pray he wasn't involved.

My friend who was shot by his son last week - Another kid was arrested yesterday who they say was involved after the fact by helping him hide the gun(s?) after the fact among other charges. Then I was watching an interview of a neighbor by a news channel the day they found Darren & he said "THEY took off out of that drive-way like a bat out of hell. THEY kept looking around to see if anyone was looking. His SONS didn't stop at any stop signs." Not his son but his SONS. Now, this was the day afterwards so I'm not thinking both of the boys were involved in the shooting but still. His other son, the twin brother, came over to his daddy's house, seen his daddy dead, shot by his own brother & left. Now, he could have been the one that called the cops, I don't know really. But this entire situation has really been the saddest thing I can recall in my life other than my own mother & husband dying & those weren't really as sad because at least the Lord called them home. Their lives weren't taken by the hands of the children that gave them life. Sheesh
