Praying for her. Sister,would it be ok if a Bible was sent to her jail cell? I know a website that sends Bibles to people in prison/jail. They sent a Bible to a boy,Dasere,that I knew back from school. All I had to do was ask and tell them who needed the Bible. He got arrested for burglary last Fall but a Bible was sent to him. I know they can do the same for her.

Dear Michelle,

I have been sitting and looking at Sherry's picture.............

To me, she looks like a lost little girl.

She probably is thinking that she needs a "fix".........but what she really needs is love. And, Michelle God's love can be channeled from you and your mom when you see her. Be loving, and firm.

 

Our Father, Who art in heaven, holy, great, and wonderful be Your name. Just now we ask that Sherry would come to You through Your Son, Jesus Christ......she is weary and heavy laden....and Father, she is lost, just like a little girl who has been playing in the devils playground...and needs to go home. Help her to put on the yoke of Jesus, and learn of His gentle rest for her soul. Father, help her to realize that Your Son's yoke is easy, and His load is light.

We pray that You will instill wisdom, strength, and the where-with-all in love into Michelle and her mom as they see Sherry.....that the visit will be fruitful. Watch over them as they travel to and from this visit.

Father, this is our prayer in the powerful name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Father, in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus, I stand in agreement with all prayers for Sherry. I pray that she will be touched by Your angel of love, mercy and compassion. Humbly I ask that the spirit of destruction within her be bound and cast into the pit of fire where it will not be able to hurt her or anyone else.

Father, please remove all hindrances present in Sherry's life that may be preventing her from giving her heart to Christ Jesus; for it is only He, through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, who is able to set Sherry free from this present life of destruction.

Father, I ask that those who might minister to Sherry be true followers of Christ Jesus, and that they will take to heart Your Words from Ezekiel 44:23 "And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean." Drugs are unclean and unholy!

Father, please strengthen Michelle and her Mom when they visit Sherry, and in the days ahead. Let their strength galvanize Sherry to re-examine her life, and so desire complete change.

Thank You, Father, for answered prayers.

MICHELLE, ALL JAIL's WILL ALLOW CERTAIN BOOKS TO BE SENT TO THE INMATE,
YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE THETE NAME AND INMATE NUMBER, IT WILL GO THROUGH
PROCESS BEFOR SHE RECEIVES IT, BUT SHE CAN HAVE A BIBLE, INFACT THEY SHOULD
HAVE A CHAPLIN THERE, ALL SHE HAS TO DO IS SKE FOR SOMEONE TO PRAY WITH
HER, THEY ALSP HAVE BOOKS SHE CAN GET, LET HER ASK FOR THE BIBLE, ALL
JAILS HAVE BIBLES, IT MAY NOT BE MANY , BUT THEY HAVE A BIBLE , AN THEY
WILL PRAY WITH YOU , THEY DO HAVE BIBLE STUDY, I WILL SURPRISED IF THIS
ISN'T ALLOWED, I PRAY FOR YOUR SISTERS RECOVERY , AS HER EYES SHOW THE
DEEP PAIN SHE IS IN, I PRAY WHEN SHE COMES OUT, SHE WALKS WITH GOD.

Did you and your mom get to see Sherry Saturday? I hope so and hope it went well.
